I wouldn’t recommend hedging.

It’s psychologically very challenging

Positive hedging is oké. I use it sometimes to lock in profits. Then I release it on a pullback or just take the trades out if continuation

But negative hedging is not good for your mind. Only when you are very very experienced with it

yeah don't think id personally do it. My psychology isnt bad now, used to be awful especially when your using 5-8 pip stop loss on a 200k account. the lot sizes are huge and the red drawdown figures can be scary sometimes (well only 1% but still)
