no its just means that the news is highly impactful

yellow means low, ornage is medium, and red is high impact

Oh ok, because there was a red folder on GBP earlier at 1am and it turned into a major downtrend.

exactly that, so if it led into a major downtrend it just shows that the particular news at the time affected the pricing of the Pair or currency, hence why you always wanna examine the news that will be affecting the market day before hand and at particular times of the day.

Its always a good idea to incorporate the news into your strategy, best to avoid news Trading thoough.

Another thing to look into is FX Street, it will provide you information as to how each news is impactful towards the market and whether it is a lagging or leading type news.

Just a question, when you mean 20-30 pips do you mean like on Gold like 20-30 cents or are you saying 2-3 dollars. Eg from 1997-2000 or are you saying 2000.10-2000.40.

I set up your fib pac strat on all forex pairs my broker provides, on demo, excluding exotic pairs. Purely mechanical, entries at the 71% retracement, not taking OB into consideration (which I normally would take into consideration). 28 pairs, so I consider myself now at the very least an expert in fib drawing. 😓

Thanks, I'm a big fan of market structure concepts, in all assets (combined with fundamentals, more in stocks, less in crypto). I would never trade live solely relying on fibs, as I know those areas get easily manipulated (even OB's do). But this one is just for demo fun, playing the 51% chance casino game.

In crypto, I also sometimes seek confluence between harmonic patterns and OB's, and then wait for price to exit the block in the anticipated direction. Works very well, so far.

Hi LuxAlgo Support, I am using LuxAlgo® - Signals & Overlays ver 6.3 and used Trend Catcher for Buy and Sell signal, but I have saw that Signal is getting delay by huge margin by 16 min as shown below. Trend was changed at 8:12 am, but Signal was generated at 8:28 am as per above screen shot. May I know if Indicator has this issue known or any bug or lagging.. Let me know what setting I should do to get the signal on time, otherwise my entry is getting missed resulting in loss of opportunity.

Another 3.4%. After a short closed at BE (not all trades gets to TP). I saw this opportunity on the long side. Price created new bullish ob …. A bearish OB is just above. But Tre trend is on bull side, overlays too and Matrix and MACD are showing a strong bullish momentum. That OB can be broken. And actually it did. Drove all the way up to Monday Low … exited with a 3.4%. There is still bullish momentum can go more up. So why did I exit? Well kids need to go to bad 😄.
Up 33% today and just traded NY session. Not underestimate Lux MACD….it is a great oscillator

This is Eur USD. I highlighted the news with a vertical blue line. The only thing that the news did was bring price back to the trend line.
Cool huh?

Actually the first news brought price down and the body closed on the trend line. The second news at 10:30 pushed the price above the trend line.
Another observation where candles closed BELOW (left bottom) trend line came from the giant movement and where ment to remove traders from their early positions before resuming it's direction.

Gold has quite a few factors that could increase value. A lot of it will be geo-politically driven. Typically as war increases so does the value of gold.

@drifting garnet usually the daily… I’ve had little luck with anything lower… I’m testing a strategy on the 1 hr now… but I see cleaner price action on the daily
