Different time frames have different liquidity isn't that correct? Also regarding pending orders. If you open agresive trade on a lower time frame it just starts filling out prior orders ib the range of the time frame. Just like it goes after your stop loss of it isn't distanced enough according to time frame. I saved trade many times just by switching from higher to lower time frame when bidask was getting too close.

And than back to higher to give the price a gentle push

In my opinion moving stop loss is agresive and can in many ways spook the price because standard deviation gets immediately recalculated. But switching time frame is less agresive and has less effect on recalculation of the Standart deviation

So price price moves more smoothly without those ridiculous micropulbacks getting smalktimeframe orders out if tbe way

Forget about trying to fit into someone else's (prop challenges) rules, because it may not be your style.
You need to be consistent and good at your own style and rules first, before you try to fit into someone else's style and rules.

I became more of a price action trader …. Love support resistence OB whatsoever…. I used to be more trend trader but I feel like it’s easier for me to trade price action…. But strategy is 50% of the success, 50% is mind setting, patience and psychology…. For example today I took profit on gold and Usdchf…. You would say good… not really cause I had no reason to exit trade (although I was in profit …. Actually gold I was 1:2RR) . If I would have stay in both trades longe I would have done at least at least double gains. And same happened yesterday with Eursek and Eurnzd in those cases I would have done 3,4 times more. So that part of me i ve to fix.

Try it. I give you some advices on exit:

• simple exit wait to next OB (in this case as long no bearish OB creates on the way up…. You goal is that OB you see in the pic )
• scary trader: simple exit when hyperwave turns. I almost never use this one except when I m close to the target and hyperwave is in oversold or overbought. So why wait a retracement to get few pips more.
• iron balls trader: follow till target and Stay in the trade till hyperwave reverse. You can use even trailing stop loss or whatever.
  Personally I used the simple exit till now. But looking back I noticed profits could have been double using iron balls. But psychology is psychology and I gotta train better.

there are many factors when you look for OB/OS thingy when you actually look on HTF rather than LTF

unless you are scalping on LTF

The earlier trade which I had this morning was pure scalping

Price Action is all about OB's / Liquidity sweeps but then again you need to analysis the chart from HTF such as 4H and 1H TF for trend direction and then going down to 15m TF or even 5m TF to take entry

Because on LTF you may think it is Bullish but on HTF it is Bearish trend following

Yes i know using signals and overlays looks not that great…. But I use to trade at OB reaction. So is something different then trend trade because I try to take a trend before it start somehow. I usually have a small stop loss so I case I lose the loss is minum and if I win the win is bigger. Just another type of trade. But anyway the neocloud is blue so I m actually trading with the trend in this case.

For example in this case my target is to have a take profit at 1:5 RR with sensitive areas at 1:1 (FVG) and 1:3.

Congratulations who followed idea EurUsd and took it all the way up (which was the right thing to do since we didn’t have and still don t have a turning point on the matrix)…. Would have been almost a 1:4 RR take profit.
