apex for example, it's trailing DD. on a 50k the DD is 2500 so the lowest my account can go it's 47.500. if I made 500 in a trade now, the max DD is not 47.500, it's 48.000. the trailing DD stops at the account value + 100$ which is 50.100

from here if you got your account to 60k, your max low will still be 50.100

topstep is trailing DD as well, but they calculate it at the end of the day rather than anytime during the day. MFF have no trailing DD but they have a daily stop loss of 5%
