There are many ways to skin a cat, some may have great strats trading inside these 4H OB's with lower TF's
- The take away here is, whatever your strategy is, there are ONLY 2 paths that anyone is waiting for.
- Draw these out on the chart, or draw these out in your head.
- Focus on "YOUR" 2 paths, thats it, then you will be stalking these 2 set-ups, and disregard all the other noises and distractions.

Not for this particular strat, But in todays live stream, I went over a trade set up that was inside an OB to demonstrate that its ok and many other strats inside an OB as well, I believe it was on gold today that i chatted about in the live stream

There are many gold traders here, many use Signals and Overlays, and many use Price Action Concepts, or a combination of both
If you search gold here in this LuxAlgo group, you will see many gold traders and their strats
Gold certainly works with my 4H OB strategy, and overall, works great on Price Action Concepts
And Gold most definitely functions great on Signals & Overlays

Yes I would like to see a few Pro Strats on Gold, but keep this in mind, almost all strategies using higher TF's work on most assets. It is when you bring down the TF's, that is when the ebb and flow of each asset comes into play and is very unpredictable, and most stratgies are very challenging on lower TF's on most assets.
Example, my 4H OB PAC strat, this works on most, if not all assets. The basic strat is we wait for price to break out of a 4H OB or retest a 4H OB, I never trade inside of a 4H OB, this is the rule for all symbols, and in all chats and live stream, I demonstrate this on the 4H and draw the paths I would like to see in order for me to take a trade on a lower TF. So when its time to execute on a lower TF, I have always mentioned, to use any technique or template that fits your style to enter and exit, based on the 4H OB technique, because I cannot advise a specific technique on a lower TF because there are hundreds of symbols members trade and each one is unique to the ebb and flow of its order flow.

I find the price action concepts too hard to use and too many variables to look at. The chart looks absolutely messy when the price action concepts is plugged. I’d rather use signals and overlays and perhaps the oscillator.

On that note I’d like to say that I miss the good old lux algo. Not much in the indicator. Simply put it on chart and the charts looked beautiful with those buy and sell signals. But these days its an absolute mess. Tons of things just in one indicator

Please take the time to read and review what has been improved, I have attached the link below on the announcement of the new version.
That is totally fine that you are not a Price Action Concept trader, and more of a Signals & Overlays trader. So lets focus on that.
Now you want a gold strategy. To be honest, we have many members that trade gold very effectively with both Price Action Concepts and Signals & Overlays. But they are consistently successful as they have created and optimized to their own style. Each member and trader is different, no two alike. So we can easily throw some Gold strategies here for you, but you will not have much success, unless you optimize it for your own self.
Take any strategy in the Pro-Strategy forum, and just use Gold on it, and optimize it for your own style. It is the same as an existing strategy from another member that trades Gold, you would STILL have to go in and change a few things to your style, as you have your own timeframes and SL and TP's, because we are all different, no 2 traders are alike.
So we just need to take a step back, breathe, and go from there. You control your own journey. Each one of us will learn to fish with the tools that we have in front of us.
For example, as I mentioned. I can take my 4H OB PAC template, or my 4H or 1H Signals & Overlay template, and use it on ANY symbol. Yes, ANY symbol, even Gold as I shown in a previous post above.

ANY strat works on any symbol, you just have to optimize for the asset and TF used
look at my 4H OB, I can put any symbol on it and use that strat idea
The smaller the TF, the more challenging to optimize to an asset
Think about that
