If it helps I can answer your question. The chart of any Index/ Forex/ Commodity will chart slightly different on different brokers. Each broker calculates a price based on who their credit provider is, how much liquidity is currently going through them currently, how much the spreads are, what their dark pools look like. Also the volume on each broker will be different as each trader will have their preferred broker.
LuxAlgo calculates its strategy based on the volume coming in and this will be different for different providers. Some providers might even have a volume spike and some brokers do not and this will change the valuations

It's not that LuxAlgo is wrong. It is doing it's job as intended. It is the variations in the broker's structure. To avoid confusion it is a good idea to stick with a particular broker's chart

Its tough question. Trending pairs, doesnt necessarily mean better and safer trades. Also just because the chart looks nice on a currency pair, you have to look at the spreads for that pair, it maybe be a bigger spread than you are comfortable with....

Example, when you target 5 pips TP, and you enter on nice trending pair, but it reverses against you and keeps on going away from you. either you close out after you feel pain or you get closed out by your broker for margins. But if you target that same 5pip TP on a choppy pair, even if the trade goes against you, sometime soon, price may come back and fill your 5pip TP

this is just an example of a small 5pip TP

here are 2 charts for example on this mindset

Lets say i enter long for 5 pips anywhere on this green line for this choppy pair. doesnt matter if i picked the wrong spot, eventualy soon, I get my 5 pips WIN!

Now on a trending pair, what if I entered at the arrow up? and now it reverses against me, holly crap, do I baghold until my account is drained and get rekt?

This is why I go for 10 pips, and why my 10 pips has a high win %

FX pairs moves 5-10pips constantly up and down everyday, every hour, its not often that FX pairs moves 50-100 pips pump/dump. Easier for me to guess a 5-10pips move, versus a 50 pip move...

The above is just an example of the thought process and not necessarily an actual strategy...

That’s an interesting point about something as small as 5 pips. I think the real problem is that people struggle to decide where their SL should go.

That’s an interesting idea . If you guys have been using a strategy like that for a bit, have you guys looked at how far the price went against you before turning around? I personally use a Max SL rule of 20 pips. I usually target Swing high/low, but if it’s more than 20 pips then I’m not letting it go that far. From my backtesting, I find it easier to cut losers after they get to a certain “almost no-return” point haha.

Yes I understand that. I am trading on the 1 day timeframe so i am trading on long timeframes. From my backtesting it works well on the 1 day timeframe.

Exactly! Example: When the trend catcher got bullish, when there is a bullish signal and when the oscillator matrix says bullish i buy. When the trend catcher gets red, bearish signal and the oscillator matrix saying bearish i sell. That’s my strategy.

I can’t exactly say who has the lowest, however the prop firm I use makes me trade with the Eightcap broker and they have very low spreads and fees in my experience

That’s probably why. There are two types of forex accounts (as far as I know). There’s the Swap free account like yours which has a standard spread and no commissions. Then there’s commission based accounts with “Raw” spreads that are goated for Forex.

Check if your broker has a commission based account. That might make Forex a bit more profitable for you.

Yeah I’m profitable, for me the key was using a stupid simple strategy and going into a 30 Min TF. Trading lower TF is fun and I still do it for entertainment, but my real profits come from 30 min TF.

I personally don’t trade using sessions for my swing trading strat (aka this one). And he tested it with the 30 min time frame which is why I decided to switch from the 5 and 15 min to his 30 min TF.

Only thing I hate about his channel is the text to speech. That stuff annoys my hears, but knowledge is sometimes worth these petty sacrifices

I use it for my intraday strat. I try to keep the fun in trading alive now that I’ve become a boring EUR/USD swing trader.

So far I found a strat that only works in the first 3 hours of London session and requires a LuxAlgo premium indicator and another Premium indicator from some other group. It’s been a nice addition to the prop firm account.

Yes, the HA throws off the market structure SMC PAC indicator key levels, as the HA bars are formed differently with open/close. If using PAC, I would use regular candlesticks for accurate key levels such as OB's, previous days highs/lows etc...
