for my 10pips, the win % is high, so this fits me better, i may get 7-10 wins i a row, before i take a loss, and I can make that up with another 1-3 wins

so that is pretty much my trading plan

I would love to take big wins, like 40-80pips, but i would need to learn to take bigger retracements, but if one of these pullbacks is a trend change, then it would hurt. Not sure if my stomach can take that

Yeah, same here....TSL is a good technique as well, just need a different stomach.....what you could do is just take one indicator and use it as your TSL mentally....example, you enter and you hold until the trend catcher flips opposite

I have done this too, actually it works better for my head games vs a traditional TSL

Say for e.g. I'm trading with 2K and make £50 if I take half out and put SL to BE

and then it dies, then I only make £50

i just turn on the features of Signals/Overlay that I want and turn off those I dont want, thats it.

and from time to time, i test out other Lux indicators and post it. So all these charts I show different Lux indicators from the Lux library, I test each one out several times, over and over. And the backbone of the chart is LuxAlgo Signals/Overlay.

I will have LuxAlgo Signals/Overlay, LuxAlgo Oscillator Premium on my charts always. And I will test and rotate different Lux Algo indicators to this simple set up.....

Do you all consider having a 20% bail out fund for your book? This is for when margin gets slim due to volatility. I use this and it allows book growth and quite aggressive trading

What I tend to do is take 20% of liquid and have it just in case which gives me ability to put money back and forward

5-7 losses in a row are common. It happens when you trade consistantly. it messes with thinking. it like thinking paralysis sort of thing. What I learned from my losses streak that I shall document all my trades to know whats going wrong. in the risk management department, I cut my risk in half after a loss, I take 0.5% risk only. then 0.25%, then 0.12%. I kept 0.12% after wards. untill got some profits. my effective was only 3% or so, which I covered in 2 trades.

By definition of a trendline, when price breaks a line, a new line will form once it has the correct amount of defined touches to connect and draw the new line. You can code a TL indicator so that the old TL's stays on the chart and then draws a new TL, but with this coding, you will have hundreds of lines on your chart. Which would not be optimal for trading.

There are numerous of free trendline break indicators in the TV library, that leaves all the old TL's on the chart. That's why they are free, not particular helpful if your chart had hundreds of lines criss crossing in all directions

just my opinion, as I tried most of the free trendline indi's on TV

FX absolutely has volume. With no volume, there would be no price action. If price moves, there’s volume. It is up to the fx broker to provide volume. I use Oanda and they provide tick volume data and all my volume indicators work such as OB metric within PAC. You need to find a broker that provides volume data.
