hi mate, please please please back test and try different methods before you trade with real money, save your capital at all cost. The lux indicators are amazing, but you need to put in the hard work of back testing, trying out different indicators, confluence etc. All the best. in general refreshing the page is what fix this issue, you can retry this, else it might an issue on Tradingview end, which would require waiting unfortunately 😦 Their status page is not reporting errors at the moment.

depends on the alert you set 🙂 These particular conditions are for the "any alert() function call" alert condition, so if you set that alert you should check some of these options. But we also have alerts with conditions already nuiltins, you can also use them.

yes, alerts are only based on the timeframe and indicator settings used when they are created, so switching to a different tf once you set an alert wont affect it

hello I just purchased the lux premium. I have tried by following the buy sign and in all three first buy are lost because after buy for long position, then there is strong exit signal (without any buy exit confirmation). Is it normal?

Have you adjusted your setting to the type of market your trading? I use 5m and 15m two charts one with long term trades and the other with short term and I confirm my trades like this also using the new macd should not be loosing so often.

For these 2 signals in your screen shot, both the Trend Tracer and Trend Catcher are conflicting, so based on this, these 2 trades are not confirmed to take. My analysis tells me ranging period, no trade. Hope this helps. Also, both these trades are close to 2 separate support/resistance levels, or breakout, liquidity levels, more clues of caution.

Theres really more to it, we try not to take every signal based on Trend Tracer/Catcher. What time frame is this?, direction of Neo cloud?, whats longer trend? (1hr, 4hr...), and your also trading Ape, crypto imho maybe a bit jumpy. was it close to news? session open? low trading volume period of the day? And was this buy signal at the end or exhaustion of the trend tracer? so many variables, and you need to find a set of rules that caters to your style.

and 5min chart is almost borderline danger TF, 1min is the kiss of death, not for the faint of heart. Look at 1hr, 30m, 15m. Once you get that down, then head over to the 5min

Here is an example.2 charts, same instrument,1st chart is higher time frame 4hr. Looks awesome, right? easy right? Now look at it on a 5 min chart for past 2 days......

Thats easy peasy, trade on a higher TF like 15m or 30m, trade in direction of 1hr and 4hr charts. Enter trade and let it ride to a hard target of $100, your stop loss is a floating SL, meaning set it far away, but your finger is on the mouse to move that sucker when price action gets into profit maybe $25-$50 into the trade. This is they way I trade pretty much. What if I have. false signal, then my actual signal to close me out os when one of the indicators turns the opposite direction. I may use the Lux MACD, or candle color, or Lux Oscillator, or whatever. Once price hits $100, it closes automatically, shut down your computer, who cares if the trade goes to $500 or $1000. Its VERY hard to catch a trade thats goes $500-$1000. But its an easier guess for an entry to go $100 @wind ivy

your screen is fine, you just have to adjust your right scale, move your mouse over to the right scale, click and drag up and down and you will know what i mean, after that, right click on the right scale and you will see settings to correct this moving forward

The area that you underlined, if you would had taken that BUY, the trade would had been chop sideways for about 15-18 bars, most likely will scare you out of the trade and close. For the Lux Buy signal you circled, look at the bars after, straight up hard for 3 bars hitting reversal band for quick exit. Perfect set up imho - also try to turn on trend chaser/catcher, maybe that will give you a clearer picture

I see this as a classic break and retest; the cloud acts as a resistance here. You can also see a support level that it's testing now. That's some resistance confluence right there

candle coloring is directly based on the confirmation signals, in that rally/retracement you are in a sell signal, the trend has been fairly developing, and as such the algorithm does not judge this variation as a confirmed trend, lower your settings if you want the algorithm to catch these specific variations 🙂

Okay thanks. Hope that you guys expand to these tickers. I think the folks were right where they mentioned that the Auto Pilot on the 5 min isnt accurate. I tried the values of TQQQ on Auto pilot and with the Optibot values I see a big difference.

Why cant the Autopilot be designed to capture the right values that the Optibot recommends?
