Well not really; optibot is a backtest overfitting signals. Autopilot is dynamic so sometimes isn't as spot on since it's deal time

TV told me that alerts set up in either ET or REG hours stay as originally created so that is why my alerts were going off in both ext and reg hours. I deleted them all and set them up all again in reg hours. That should solve the problem according to TV.

it seems that you have two instances of the oscillator on your chart, make sure that the drop down with the indicator name (lux oscillator premium) is the one with the legacy oscillator enabled, the second one is using the classic osc mode, which is why the alert is not triggering 🙂

You can see this in the alert message : Lux Oscillator Premium Legacy, and then below you have Lux Oscillator Premium Classic

select the same one in the first drop down, if its the first one then use the first one on that drop down, the alert message tells you which oscillator mode is selected, here its still classic

the message highlight the alert condition, in order for it to work you need to use the same oscillator in the drop down menus, else just remove the instance of the lux oscillator with the classic oscillator enabled, that would be easier. I hope this helps

I got some questions for institutional profile mode.

1. as you see for example, the yellow area has the dotted line showing the highest recorded institutional activity within the range but the pale blue bar doesn't seem to be at peak (if you compare to the area with longest bars in pink). I don't quite get why the dotted line isn't at the area with the longest bar?

2. I watched Gecko's video explaining trading with S/R predictive range and instituional profile. Can I safely assume that areas of instutitonal interest have no directional preference (not necessarily a support area or a demand area) and it really depends on where the price is at compared to the areas. Say if the price is currently trading below the significant areas, then I can assume that those areas are actually supply zones?

and demand is a fancy term for support

Price below; then it's acting as a supply zone

Yep exactly The logic is this will remain a significant scar in the market that traders will set orders at. So you'd look at books, and see the reaction when the price touches this area e.g. volume influx

Do I use them respectively in different circumstances? Say if ranging then I use predictive range, if trending I use breakout zones and trendlines? And I can rely on lux dashboard trend strength and the trending/ranging status to help?

They really are different things. Pred ranges are channels and provide basic SR levels, breakout zones are zonal SR, trend lines are just trendlines so aren't levels, and a profile is a profile

optibot will return past optimal settings, and as such can be useful as a reference, it is more handy to use them than manually adjusting them, except if the returned signals are not to your liking 🙂

Go to the Price Side bar on TradeView, if you hover your mouse on the left hand side of the prices on your chart you will see a (+)

Click on it and you will have the ability to add Alerts for different indicators including Lux Algo.

Click on Lux Algo and then make sure you go to your Alarms and have one set for every after the candle closes, for every time frame (1 Day has 100% win rate for BTC, 1 Hour if set up properly has a 93% win rate), and for buy, sell, strong buy, strong sell.

The alert shouldn't be used as a notification of when to enter, but when to audit the charts to make sure it is safe to enter

Its like it yep, we do use weighted volume instead of regular volume for the volume profile part, just to reflect tick data more accurately. The right part shows the price interval that has the most volatile moves.
