Moreover, it seems “once per bar” is not reliable because you could see that I get alert mid bar and also another one at bar close for some reason.

Unless the bar is closed

it's not confirmed

Once per bar close is the only valid option here

So the reason you get consecutives is:

• It alerts before bar close then doesnt fully change color
• then is does this on the next bar too

Ah I got it now. Won’t bother with capturing the move little early. I would rather have reliable system as opposed to multiple buys and then one sell messing up my positions

I am much closer to what I want to achieve but still need some help.
I changed to “once per bar close” as per your previous recommendations.
See chart here and you could see the trend catcher turned green for brief moment near the resistance zone and then turned red.
Since signals are sent at bar close, but was at higher price compared to sell.
Any parameter that would help skip and avoid this kind of buy near the resistance band ?

Here buy was triggered at 67.26 and sell was at 65.43.
While I understand that nothing could give 100% accuracy but things which are pretty clear when you see chart visually should be taken care by some parameter IMHO

I did built confluence but it gets complex as you could imagine.
You get one signal and then wait for certain time for another signal to get confirmation else cancel the previous one.
I am assuming that it might be easier to do this kind of logic from your end.
If I change timeframe then putting confluence becomes tricky as well.

catcher is more short term n tracer is longer term

i recommend changing the tracer style to crosses so it’s easier to tell the difference between the two

I could see on chart that trend tracer turned green (trend catcher is yellow one) at same time but got no alerts at all.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong but had no alerts at all.
I hate to delete all these alerts again and setup once more if that is an issue.

BTW, I didn’t delete and re add when switching from trend catcher to trend tracer. I simply paused, edit and resumed after edit.
Could that be an issue ?

I had both trend tracer up and down on TSLA and NFLX and no alerts so far but charts do show change in direction.
Puzzled on what I might be doing wrong here.

We don't really provide these resources ourselves as normally it's 3commas or Cornix's end

I am will only do this if it is alway the best sensitivity vs automatic options (short, med, long-term). I am not getting alerts for trend catcher as well now after switching from trend tracer.
I did an upgrade on the alerts specific chart to latest Lux Algo 4.5.1 and earlier I was using 4.4

In the doc I read
"The trend strength quantify the strength of an underlying trend as a percentage and can tell you whether the market is trending or ranging"

Can it be used as the percentage is very low, (like 5% for example) the trend is more ranging, compared if it was 89 (then it would be more trending)

Or can trend strength be used to measure the strength of current trend. Lets say a trend strength of 5% is a very weak trend and the asset price will most likely not have enough strength to go past resistance level???

I did set an alert for GMt buy yesterday for per bar close . Ther alert triggered way after the close per bar though it sent tye correct entry price to my telegram channel , buh it was triggered way after that entry price

Is this lagging or the caused by the fast volume of the coin ?

i get a big green candle and the red zone turns green .... so can this change of color be taken as an indication to go long .... even though the green candle hasnt completed broken the resistance zone

I need some help. Email support had been helping with other issues now I can not access none of the 3 lux prem indicators since I downgraded trading view to free. I have logged off and back in .it shoes the green locks but won't allow indicator to work( has explanation point error). Then on a separate window same account it shows the lux prem indicators with red locks. I haven't got a response back yet from email support.

This can eventually happen but it's not guaranteed, the tp/sl feature is mostly to set take profits and stop losses, once price reach one new tp/sl will be generated.

Yeah, I changed some of the defaults for the hourly and made a custom daily chart, and a list of rules with other free indicators to follow before entering

That's awesome. I mainly do daily trades. However, I was watching a few YouTube videos of people using LuxAlgo and I saw someone using a 5m chart which inspired me to check out the 5m charts. I noticed a lot of winners. In the interest of full disclosure there were a few losers, too. Even if you take a hit with a few losses the winners clearly outshine them. That's what I'm going to do all weekend - backtest with some 5m charts on AUD/USD, EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY, just to start. Those seem to have well-defined trends in the 5m chart.
