Are you talking about the recommended sensitivity in the dashboard? Its a different method that only optimise sensitivity. When optibot post new settings you should update them from the indicator settings.

I bought the lifetime option in Lux A thinking I would master this software. I find there is not much advantage over the basic indicators. I have watched the videos. I have followed some of the people using it. Software is supposed to simplify and reduce the compexity of the many inputs. This software does neither. Support states that this is to allow individual preferences. The Lux indicators look good in arrears, but they often do not play out in real time like they should. Does anyone believe differently? Software is supposed to make it easier, Lux does not.

Hi @indigo cradle I have been testing with “once per bar” on 15 min timeframe and actually getting multiple trend catcher up signal without any down in between.
Should I not expect alternate?
Multiple buy signals are messing up overall buy quantity for my position because I keep on adding without selling.

If I use a bot with say buying quantity of 100 every time then I am buying 300 before I got one sell for 100. So at the end I am left with quantity of 200.

You have point A and point B

And they are connected with a line

So the line is drawn from point A to B and is green if point B meets criteria

What you're seeing is point A being green because that's where the line starts

But really it's point B where the trend tracer's condition to turn green is being met

It's just that it's connected to point A

Try a different web browser. Chrome seems to work best with Lux.

Speaking of Alerts, the last 24 hours I have not been able to get the alerts to load up. Keep getting the "something went wrong" error. Everything else loads up fine. What's the issue? I'm using Chrome. But it also happens on Safari. With the alerts not loading I can't make changes to settings. I'm at a stand still.

you can create the alerts on Tradingview, in the first drop down menu select the lux algo premium indicator, in the second one select the condition, make sure to use "once per bar close", see https://docs.luxalgo.com/lux-algo-premium-indicators/lux-algo/alerts

Unsure what could lead to this error, try recreating the alert, having no feature enabled when creating the alert might help.
