I would like to set up alerts for different symbols (i.e., currencies such as BTC or ETH) in Tradingview using the LuxAlgo Premium Indicator. For each of these symbols I would like to use different settings for Lux Algo such as the sensitivity or agility. However, when I change the settings, the same settings are used for all the symbols.
Is it possible to use individual settings for each symbol and use these settings also for the alerts for each symbol?

Why are there such big differences with the optibot settings each day? Yesterday AAPL's 4H settings were 13/30 and today it's 20/21. On a 4H chart the buy/sell signals have moved or disappeared so if I entered a position yesterday based on a sell, today with the new settings that sell signal is gone.

It seems you are also new like me but remember leverage trading is very very risky as lost like 500$ in few minutes so I suggest to take some training courses to fully understand the market movement and specifically the candlesticks so u can better decide

You are already at loss like 80$ so if I were you I would have created an stop loss at 100$ so if the situation does not change and I lose then it should get closed but if in case the situation change and my loss decreases then I manually close the trade at a lower loss

but do not go with 20x leverage... it is really risky just go with 5x or 8x or max 10x based on situation

I am testing the alerts from trend catcher and see two specific issues 1. Sometimes get multiple up together before down. I am using one every bar close 2. Alert is not on the first red to green or green to red which means that my buy or sell is at little unfavorable price.

in my opinion the autopilot is better. especially if you are using bots. the optibot changes settings (sometimes significantly each day) and you won;t be able to keep up with changing it for your bots. i would recommend trying 20 minute timeframe, autopilot enabled and long term frequency enabled as a starting point. use those settings with more volatile coins (e.g. not on the top 20 marketcap coins). if you need help with specific settings for cryptos then let me know

fair enough. i tend to use a stop loss to breakeven tactic - usually at 1.5% profit for longs and 2.5% profit for shorts. the top 20 marketcap coins move so little that i've struggled to find settings on lux algo that work really well with them. i'm sure they're out there but i don;t know what it is

if you take alice for example - on those settings i gave you - 1 in 5 longs make it to 11.6% and 1 in 10 shorts make it to 20% (based on 6 months worth or data). so if you can get your trade safe with a stop loss breakeven tactic, the algorithm will do the rest

I tried and it seems that trend catcher alert is delayed by two candles. You miss the major move due to this late alert.
See example above where I was testing on 15m chart. I could see the detection first happened around 18 but alert came in at 19.17 at the close of second candle after the detection and couldn’t capture the big move

based on the settings i gave you, if you set up a bot for longs you want a stop loss at 2.7%, tp1 at 1.5% for 5%, tp2 at 8.3% for 20%, tp3 at 12% for 20%, tp4 at 50% for 55% - or scalp to 8.3% with 2.7% stop loss - or just swing trade with a stop loss of 1.2% or 2.7%

Using Autopilot needs to be off if you want to use Optibot settings, as autopilot would basically make the signal generation algorithm adjust dynamically to market conditions instead of using fixed settings.

Following up from yesterday alerts getting delayed, I tried “Once per bar” as opposed to “Once Per Bar Close” and getting better results since it doesn’t wait for the end of bar close to send alert which is better approach.
Do you see any issues in particular with my changes compared to your recommendations?

If I was using alert at bar close then close price makes sense. But in order to capture good portion of move I am using “once per bar” which is causing this issue

If I submit market order then all is well but limit order at any of the OHLC value is not going to have order fulfilled.
