Might be nice to change the font color of these signals with green backgrounds to be black instead of white. I know the white looks great on a black background, but it sort of fades out on a white background. Perhaps the dev(s) can try it with a black font and see if it works well for both types of chart background, please? I'd like to see it really pop on either. as often explained by Admin as well, Lux is just a tool. it needs to be adjusted to your trading style and strategy. indicators are exactly what they are supposed to be, helpers. if you trade based on a buy or sell signal, no matter what indicator you're using, that's risky.

advantage of 3commas and most likely any other software using bots is that you can cover a certain decrease in price with the bots strategy

which is beneficial in a bearish market. in a bullish market, even manual trading can be used

so I would say mostly use bots with a deep retracement settings when you see bearish trends and aggressive settings when you see bullish trends. most important factor is the choice of coins with bots, try and stay away from shitcoins, or you may get stuck in deals for months

and to answer, use Lux to start/stop bots/deals

based on your own strategy 🙂 good luck

Hello, I am currently familiarizing myself with the Lux Algo software and would like to trade several crypto coins with Optibot at the same time and activate the alarms in Tradingview. In the Optibot list, optimizations must then be set manually, e.g.
BTC/USD
Sensitivity : 28
Agility : 23

the individual coins BTC, ETH, ADA... have different values, if I set up a coin manually in Tradingview and then set the alarm in Tradingview, then that should work, but what happens if I add another crypto coin set up manually then I have to change and save the values. Do several alarms that I set up like this work according to my description? I hope I was able to explain my question well.

Thats because you are using any alert() function call, using a different condition will allow you to set once per bar close

but any alert() function call use once per bar close by default, you would need to select the alert conditions from the indicator settings instead.

Just because a candle bounces off a trendline doesn't mean a trend hasn't reversed

A candle can bounce off a trend line, retrace a little then continue in the direction

And the S/R / candle coloring are 2 separate indicators so this is down to some confluence in the trader

The slow color changes here are due to your sensitivity setting. So if you have a high sensitivity the candle colors won't change very responsively

OPBC is just a little safer; avoids price anomilies a little better

It's the same criteria as it's the same indicator. OPB just means you'll get the alert if conditions are met during any time of the life of a bar.

So this means if there is a random spice in a bar it can send a buy signal

The perks of OPBC is that it'll only alert IF conditions are met on the close of the bar

Hello there, your indicator is very useful but is very difficult to manage. I will explain:

I have one bot for each coin and timeframes (15M, 30M, 1H, 4H) configured in Tradingview to use with 3commas. The Optibot Settings is not a option because, we will need to change every day 56 TV dashboards with 56 different indicators.

The autopilot is not working as well as the manual Optibot settings. There is some bad entry and exit in the charts if we compare then.

Also, If I configure the OptiBot settings I have in the Dashboard indicator another Optimal Sensitivity.

For instance now, BTC in 15, in Optibot has 30-31. But in the dashboard widget I see that the optimal is 11.

If I use the AutoPilot, the settings are different that the OptiBot and the dahboard widget. And with every option the Sell and Buys sells changes. I think the dashboard settings shows better results. Is the autopilot supposed to collect the sensitivity data that appears on the dashboard?

Is there any way to have a real signals settings centralized and working better with all time frames? If not, we will not take advantage of your Premium Indicator.

I know this indicator is not developed thinking in bots but I want to accomplish a strategy that let the bot working itself with more or less good results, at least on a regular basis, I have not time to trade all day or some hours every day.
I have read the docs, but it's not clear what's the best strategy using the sensitivity and agility.

What you recommend for bots and buy and sell entries automatically in all timeframes? Optibot, Autopilot or 12-26 fixed settings? I know this was not made for bots, but think about like a normal strategy or a trader that operates in all timeframes and he don't want using the OptiBot option.

If you see the trend tracer decreasing on the most recent candle you won't be alerted, you can only be alerted once the candle close. That might explain the confusion.

I would say 5 times in 3 days, but it is always different alerts (Any buy/sell confirmation, trend tracer or trend catcher). Now looking at the charts I have noticed that alert does not trigger at all, for example trend tracer in this picture:

You can see that the alert should have triggered on 24th Jan at 23:00, but you can see on the right side that the last time the alert has triggered was Jan 23rd 11:30.

It is the first time for me that something like that is happening on tradingview

A tradingview alert is a fairly basic thing. It's simply an alert condition based off the same event that occurs visually. These alerts have been built in to the system for around 5/6 months now; probably longer and we very rarely get reports on them not working. It's most likely the case that those one or two alerts just need to be remade due to either a glitch / OPBC not being used if I had to guess there

The disconnect between what I'd expect as behavior vs. what occurs, happens if I double click any alert I've created; it doesn't load the customized indicator settings onto the chart (which is what I was assuming it would do?).
It DOES load the ticker. It also loads some Lux indicators with what I believe to be my default values - but not the settings for the indicators at the time of alert creation (which, again, was my hope/assumption). (I guess I could U/L a vid to googledrive and DM - would probably clear up my ask)

I am very displeased with your your indicator sending the alerts. I have not changed the version of Lux Algo and the alerts for a 2 months now. Some of the alerts start not to be activated when it needs or It does not activate at all. I can see it on the chart, but the alert does not trigger at all. I did not get any proper answer from you guys. The only answer I got is just to create a new one. But that will not solve this issue as it might happen again in the future. Could someone please give me a proper answer what is happening and how I can fix this. Bugs like this makes me want to unsubscribe. Also, I have contacted the trading view support and they told me that this is the problem with the indicator, not tradingview.

But hopefully you understand the conditions for an alert are identical to that of the graphical tool and in testing they work smoothly so hopefully this update may by coincidence solve this

I know Point & Figure is not maxi popular but ‘objective patterns’ are one of its features. Would be great to have Point and figures pattern detections like the bullish or bearish catapult. There are not too many P&F pattern… as a thought. StockCharts does it, it’s very convenient. Could complement your pattern detection section here as well.

I tried 4.4 on Tesla's 4H chart and the indicators seemed good but when I put it on autopilot, the results are awful. Terribly late on both buy and sells. What's going on here? These were default settings besides the autopilot checkmark. Has anything changed in the algo for the indicators too?

Autopilot is on Long Term frequency by default, try going into advanced settings & changing the autopilot frequency to mid-term or short term — signals didn’t change in 4.4

Hi, i purchased LUX algo to learn about patterns, however its showing me 0 patterns on any crypto i click on
