We don't currently as robot trading is... well it's an interesting area. There is no such thing as a robot for sale that's profitable long term or will outperform markets consistantly

Maybe that's the wrong term....I use NinjaTrader to trade mostly and they use strategies for setting when and what parameters need to be met to enter a trade. There is a discord servers called Algo-Ninja that has these setup...however it carries a monthly fee and only written for NT....TV has strategies as well but I have not tried them....just a thought and it could be a new product for you guys...I've been with you since the start and just renewed for another year and the improvements just keep getting better.

Each time you set an alert in tradingview the alert will use the settings at the time of settings 🙂

I'd suggest double checking your alerts settings there

Really? Oh that's bad, and leaves things VERY open to human error.

So, say I have 20 TV alerts, all using Lux Algo signals with a variety of settings, and say I want to change one thing on all of them, i.e. extend the end date on all of them. Then for each alert, I would firstly need to remember what the Lux Algo settings were for that alert, then set Lux Algo to those settings, before attempting to change the alert. And do that 20 times over.

I'm sorry but that's really bad design, and actually dangerous. I wasn't aware of this limitation, and I made a bad trade based partly on a short-term buy signal from an alert, but I thought I was receiving a long-term signal. I'm not blaming the signal itself, but if I knew it was short-term I would have disregarded it.

Is there no way around this?

One workaround would be if you sent more than just the one indicator for Lux Algo Premium to TV. Currently we have to 'share' one indicator, and constantly change the settings of this one indicator. If we had, say, 5 indicators for Lux Algo Premium, we could adjust the settings independently of each other and therefore we could keep some of them reserved for use in alerts. Then in the alert settings you'd just point to one of the 'reserved' indicators.

This is something you could implement quote easily, no?

No. Rather than having one 'Lux Algo Premium' indicator in TV, you'd have (for example) 5 of them, which people could choose whether or not to make use of. The indicators would be identical in function, but each one would have separate settings so could be changed independently of each other. Therefore when you create alerts in TV you could pick which of the 5 you want to use from the drop-down.

The benefit of this is that you could, for example, only use #5 for charting/adjusting, and keep the other 4 for alerts only (set them once and never adjust). That way you could mess around with the settings of #5 as much as you wish, without messing up your alerts if you needed to adjust those for whatever reason.

they both very different, optibot will optimize both the sensitivity and agility settings, the dashboard only display an optimized sensitivity setting given the current agility used. so I would use optibot personally.

It's simply not possible currently in the main scripts. We could do this however this isn't something we have planned. We haven't made any stategies only indicators currently. It's possible we expand to this in the future but for now it needs to be done manually

Our automated Discord bots will never notify you on any signal until the candle has closed and confirmed it. If you're adding alerts for Lux signals in TradingView - make sure to select "Once per bar close".

How does Lux Oscillator Premium work? I've seen a couple of videos and I'm still struggling with the settings at Type=Advanced:

• Length. Should this be the same as Signal Sensitivity in Lux Algo Premium? Mine setting is on Autopilot.
• What is 'Advanced Main' and 'Advanced Outline'? Volume?
• What is 'Advanced Cycle'? A sort of RSI? The values are not corresponding.
  The divergence and the institutional movement are awesome. But the other indicators within the Lux Oscillator seems to me as of no use?
  I still use the indictators Ichimoku cloud because the ' EQ Cloud' differs to much. And also the RSI or is there a tooling within the Lux Algo?
  I'm a bit frustrated because I thought Lux Algo and the Oscillator makes all other Tradind View standard indicators not necessary anymore but that seems not to be the case?!

Yesterday in Riot stock in 5 min chart was a symmetrical triangle with a breakout and retest PLUS the Strong signal which gave 1.5 R on the risk. in 10 min already got profit.
Same thing was in MARA as well.

going back to the initial question, I can redo all alerts, but problem is the red X is on the chart itself, has nothing to do with the alert. see again image above. SELL exit signs are not checked, but still showing on the map

now I do remember I've seen the video from the link above, but as you already know, it has no EXITS 🙂 and because I am linking all to 3commas, my goal is to send a custom alert for a STRONG BUY to the bot, and once the deal has started, I have 2 options: use your EXIT BUY (which now I understand is actually just a question of checking it on the Lux settings page) to close the deal at market place or use something else based on maybe TP to close it

so each pair will have 2 alerts. one to start deal, one to close deal

I'm using a multibot, so alerts will trigger individual pairs. because of all of these, I cannot use the "anyalert()" suggestion. everything is very specifically targeted

so, if I use the alert below, I do not think I need now to remake all EXIT ALERTS. just checking that option should be enough, isn;'t it?
