Hi! I have setup my alerts to be once per bar (interested in any confirmation buy and any confirmation sell) but sometimes. It will give me a confirmation sell midway through a bar but by the end of the bar it will not follow through with the alert. So the latest alert on the chart is a buy. The sell doenst go through (or thats what i think it is) Is there any sensitivity change i can do or something similar that once the alert comes through the signal also shows on the chart ? (Basically i dont want sell alerts without any buy reconfirmations if it changes its mind halfway through a 30m candle for eg.)

Yes, that's normal... if any calculations depend values that haven't settled, like the close or total volume, they'll of course change while the bar hasn't closed.

I don't set any alerts per bar unless it's a stop warning (say, "if this value gets touched at all").

I dont like it once per bar close cause ussually once that confirmation bar closed you missed too much of the initial movement. Ussualy 1-2%.

Especially on longer timeframes like 1H candles

If it's the normalised here was my reasoning: I wanted a filter for the signals and therefore picked a high length value so it's not going to be ruined by micro movements and will only really be impacted by macro movements. Increasing the smoothing value also can assist in this. I selected the custom Lux smoothing method as it's a nice custom approach to ensure there isn't too much lag when the market changed direction. So what I attempted to create here was a filter that wasn't too laggy

Ah well it could actually stay the same in theory, a timeframe shouldn't really impact a filter too much

Our automated Discord bots will never notify you on any signal until the candle has closed and confirmed it. If you're adding alerts for Lux signals in TradingView - make sure to select "Once per bar close".

typically the reason for alerts going off and them not appearing is due to altering settings after creating the alert

if you changed your sensitivity after creating that alert it will likely be different

Is there a way to identify what were the settings for Lux algo when the alert was set, other than manually fiddle with sensitivity till I hit the right spot?

You can ignore the last question I can see that if I use alert function call you have set it up so that the settings are in the name of the alert; That means that there is no clear cut way and I should save the settings on the alert name in the future. 😉

Guys a completely different question. Do I recall correctly reading somewhere that the pricing is fixed for early subscribers and any price changes would only impact new subscribers? For example, suppose, I am subscribed to the annual plan, and tomorrow you decide increase the prices. What happens after my annual plan finishes? Would it be renewed based on the rate I initially signed up on or would it increase in line with the increase in pricing? Just wondering.

Welcome 👋 The Lux oscillator and money flow index are two different indicators, however both can indicate when overbought/oversold markets as well as estimate the trend direction, the Lux oscillator contain more information that than Money Flow Index.

Its something you can do, altho we dont have evidence it will produce better results, but changing indicator settings to catch variations of interest is not a bad practice, however for short term price variations it can be more complicated.

Things to adjust to during a period of increased volatility might be stop losses and take profit, adjusting them in function of your risk aversion is a good thing to do. Hope this helps.

So the box I circled in red typically has the confirmation: buy, sell etc on it. And it is usually in the position next to the chart, rather than on the bottom. How would I make the confirmation Buy/Sell appear again? Also is it possible to move the box back next to the chart?
