in general try to save your settings somewhere before updating, you can also use indicator templates, they will keep the version you were using and you can recreate it with updated version of the indicator.

the recommended sensitivity on the dashboard is only for the sensitivity settings, and depends on your current agility setting value, optibot optimize both sensitivity and agility, and as such can be considered more optimal, however the number of supported symbols is limited on optibot.

Our automated Discord bots will never notify you on any signal until the candle has closed and confirmed it. If you're adding alerts for Lux signals in TradingView - make sure to select "Once per bar close".

if it's changing that's likely because your chart layout is saved at 21/23 so when you refresh without saving your chart layout first it goes back to current settings

set it to 20/20 and then save chart layout & it won't change 🙂

Any confirmation will alert you for any strong and normal buy/sell, if you are receiving alerts from signals you are not seeing on the chart it often means they are using indicator settings different from the ones you are currently using.

Also notice that a signal is confirmed at bar close

so if you are seeing a signal at the most recent candles, and see it disappearing, and you are not alerted for it then note that its normal, because you are using "once per bar close" (which is the correct way to do it)

Problems with alerting a custom script
Some scripts are "repainted", if you set an alarm to such a script, the behavior of the alarm can differ from the behavior of the chart. Scripts that tend to repain can produce different results when using historical and real-time data. This discrepancy can be seen when adding a script to the chart: wait for the script to compile and calculate on real-time data, then refresh the page.

Repainting can be for a number of reasons. There is currently no workaround for this behavior. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you do not set any alarms for scripts that tend to be repainting.

you can eventually set it as follow, using any alert() function call involve selecting the conditions in the indicator settings first

I am looking for certain alert types like one crossed over the other and both in green. @shy relic based on your reco i have tried using in built momentum indicator and could set alerts only for one - Trend catcher/tracer. Apparently i cant use more than one external source as input in customer indicator. any workaround.
