Hey there, Is there a way to hide/edit the -text- in the Sell/Buy/Strong signal labels? I like to use a mix of contrarian/conformation signals for my strategies but they shouldn't use the same textual labels because it would clutter up my charts a bit too much and I prefere my charts as clean as possible. I would say this should be an option but I can't find a way to change it. If it isn't possible I would like to add this to the user suggestions instead. 🙂

Hi, I’m using iPhone 11 Pro Max. And it seems to have issues with TradingView. If TradingView is left on screen for about 30-40 secs, sometimes the reversal clouds starts to flicker or disappear entirely. Sometimes the candles disappear. Will require the app to be closed and restarted everytime. Tried using Phone’s browser instead of the TradingView app and it’s the same

3commas is safe to use with tradingview alerts, another alternative is cornix.

So I'd setup lux to run across the ETHBUSD ticket on 15 min windows - I've setup a webhook alert to trigger a cloud function I've written that simply logs out the price in which the alert was provided which I intend to eventually use to automate trades, however the logging of the cloud function is showing that it's either using the wrong lux settings or simply it's not profitable with the 15min window at all.

I'm going to add some additional fields to the payload to show me the tradingview alert price to make sure the price shift isn't the cause but i'd not expect it to span this kind of variation.

note that "Any Signal" includes contrarian and confirmation signals, if you have the signal mode set to only "confirmation" or "contrartian" then you will be alerted for signals you are not seeing on your chart.

You can use the "Both" signal mode to see both confirmation and contrarian alerts.

in general we do not recommend trading the signals alone, a bad run of signals can always happen, how many did you test? Frictional costs can also play an important role here.

this is relatively normal, false signals can eventually occur, autopilot will try to catch relatively large price variations. Additional filtering conditions or good money management will diminish the impact of false signal when running a strategy.

ah you are using any alert() function calls, so thats normal, the conditions and frequency are already set, you only need to create it, you are alerted using the conditions you selected in the indicator settings.

@noble sigil if you click on the drop down menu you will see a list of other conditions, using these allow you to enter a trigger frequency as well as an alert message.

Is there any way to get an alert when the trend tracer changes color? I didn't see anything in the docs about this, and the alert settings don't seem to allow it. I have been doing some backtesting on a few futures markets, and following the change in trend tracer color seems to be nicely profitable as long as good risk management is applied.

third party services can link tradingview alerts to exchanges such as crypto.com, cryptohopper might be able to do it, unsure if 3commas or cornix support it. Most of the time these services will have a documentation on how to link alerts to the exchange/broker.

@summer adder thx for sending the setup 🙂 These toggles you see in the indicator settings are for the 'Any alert() function call' alert condition you see in the drop down menu, but you will achieve the same result with the 'Any confirmation' condition, so you can keep it as it is. Make sure to use 'once per bar close'

because you want to be alerted for the signal appearing on the chart once the bar close, when using once per bar you will only be alerted the first time a signal appear on a bar, this signal could eventually disappear at bar close (since the closing price of a bar changes)

autopilot is a solution to most problems technical indicator have, and is in my opinion one of the best features we have. Reversal zones can return very nice point of exits.

then tap on chart

you can then tap on "indicators"

type on invite only scripts, you should be able to see the lux algo premium indicator, add it to you chart, then you can create the alert.

Signals are valid on candle close

Once the candle closes then it's fixed

A repaint is when after a bar closes something is removed or a value is changed

Otherwise everything technically repaints, from RSI to MACD. Their values change during the current bar

Hey - you can update your card on the Manage Account section so it bills that card next, you can't set it to charge right away just on changing payment info though

and a good rule of thumb is to have your take profit 2x further from your entry than how far your stoploss is
