The alert conditions in Lux settings seems to not work well. I notice it causes alerts to arrive sporadically (on time, hours late, mins late), but when I tried setting up alerts individually they come in right on time.

Yes, I had it that way for over 24hours. I just switched to setting up each alerts individually today and noticed that it was coming in right on time. Please test it there to confirm though.

What are the best settings for 1d timeframe? There are only a few stocks listed. What about the rest? You just stick with the standard settings of 12/26?

Optibot dont support the one day timeframe yet, you can use the 'auto-confirmation settings' to make the confirmation signals based on the dominant cycle period.

Just today I did a video with top down analysis, and showed how to confirme at lowe timeframes to minimize risk. UNLESS, an investor can afford 100 point/everal points/or hundreds of pips, depending of instrument traded...

I did some statistics, and since i do perform all the trades manually by myself, not using a bot etc., i have come into the (early) conclusion that 1d time frame using the standard lux algo settings (12,26) may not be the best optimal in terms of capital gains, but is very close to the top and minimizes your trades.

However, since each coin should it's own settings for Sensitivity/Agility, I can't scale the process... I end up using the same settings for all coins which is super ineffective. Is there a way to improve this, and set custom values for each coin?

currently not at the moment unfortunately, best you can do is either have multicharts layouts or have one layout per coin, this is pretty inefficient. We will see if tradingview implement ways to save different input settings as default for multiple tickers

Because i set up Signals and every time a major Update happens, i have to recallibrate/configure the settings to get the same Signals as before. @indigo cradle I use the algorithm for a long time (before the agility setting was even a thing :D) and due to the discribed circumstances i often waited long times to Update the Algorithm because it worked perfectly for me. But i know you guys are working really hard on improving the algorithm. Therefore I am now on the most current version playing with the settings :). But a option to revert to the older Versions would be incredible. Because now my Signals still use the old Version of the Algorithm with Setting even though i cant View them anymore. So i just try to recreate older signals 🙂

The higher the time frame the longer are the candles? How does this work exactly?

So a few things:

1. So this is an extreme move; most likely driven by some news so very hard to predict using indicators. If some news appears and the market goes down and you see a sell signal appear on a non-closed bar you may decide to enter.
2. These big sharp moves are basically rare/unrealistic to enter on unless predicated by some technical price action
3. What you could do is now look for a re-entry, after such a sharp move I'd personally expect the stock to bounce back a little where you can re-enter a position

Hello what happens when the market is ranging? It means that the confirmation signals might be false? Or ranging is a very volatile market that cannot produce clear trend signals and depending your investment style(i.e if you are a mid or long term investor) might be better to stay out for a while or find other trades trading in trending market conditions?
