Confirmation signals are affected by both the sensitivity and agility settings, increasing these two settings will allow the trader to take decisions regarding longer term price movements, however, agility is specifically designed to filter out signals occurring during ranging markets, with a higher value removing signals that occurred in ranging markets thus returning more strong signals as a result.

Although we provide suggested settings by default (12, 26) there are no "best settings" that we can mention because trading is very personal per asset and timeframe.

I get that increasing agility helps to filter out some of the noise, resulting in less signals over time, but they're stronger

But then how does sensitivity come into play compared to that? What am I actually tuning in that case?

I understand it can be confusing, sensitivity only control the sensitivity of the indicator to price variations, so higher values will make it less sensitivity to shorter term price variations, its only there so that you can trade the variations of interest, you want to trade large variations? Look at price too, you got a strong sell and made lower lows, since price has been consolidating since Lux won’t update its state until price begins to move again. Your candles are still red because it hasn’t made enough of a high yet to alert a normal buy

I have no alerts set up on trading view. When I get an alert on the Lux Forex scanner. lets use the GBPCHF that was just called out at 5 pm tonight for example. I go to trading view to check out the chart. In this case the 2 hr chart is showing the strong signal was called at 11:00 am or am I doing something wrong??

Confirmation signals are affected by both the sensitivity and agility settings, increasing these two settings will allow the trader to take decisions regarding longer term price movements, however, agility is specifically designed to filter out signals occurring during ranging markets, with a higher value removing signals that occurred in ranging markets thus returning more strong signals as a result.

Although we provide suggested settings by default (12, 26) there are no "best settings" that we can mention because trading is very personal per asset and timeframe.

Hi. My question is about the alerts. I did create an alert confirmation all in and I got an alert at 5.30 pm eastern time, alert says -1 strong, obviously it's a sell but I don't see the flag strong in red at this hour but I see it at 1.10pm the strong sell but in the alerts nothing happens at 1.10 pm with EURJPY on the 5 min charts in the column alerts.. strange can somebody tell me if it's normal, and by the way I've seen some videos that we can program the take profit and stop loss, but I don't see in the settings that option. thanks
