That screenshot you are referring to is a placeholder. You will need to make a condition using placeholders/values and operators, like so:

If you are referring to being able to auto trade, then Yes this is possible with TV alerts/webhooks, unfortunately, these are processed through 3rd party services, and since this falls outside the range of support offered by LuxAlgo, LuxAlgo and myself are unfamiliar with these services that integrate these webhooks for trade execution into your brokerage of choice....But you are welcome to ask around in the other channels to see if other members can guide you on this...

not sure what your work schedule is but like I said the crypto an really eat you alive with its wild swings and IMHO is probably the worst choice to learn with. You can look at the various sessions on extended hours and see where there is volume on various futures contracts are. Dont trade the low volume hours or you will get whipsawed often. There are indicators in TV that will plot the session times of things like NY, LONDON, and Asian sessions. Avoid the first few minutes of the Sessions because the wild swings will take out your stops unless you get very lucky. While learning, I would trade with a prop firm so that you do not lose your own money. I trade with Apex and take profit trader as those two seem to be the best. Apex is cheaper.

I am still having trouble with S&O . None of the indicators will show up on the chart now. I logged out of tv and also deleted and re-added the S&O but still nothing. I checked to make sure opacity is correct. Example: Smart trail is checked and opacity good but nothing. The backtester will still use it to backtest but it is not visualized on the chart.

Hi, that feature was removed awhile back and replaced with the (PAC) screener indicator what is much more customisable. You can actually customise it to look identical to the MTF.

@deep dock I think my big issue is the delay on TradingView. The signals are good but they appeared only after 3 candles are already up or down. How can I fix that please? I trade on MT5 and the trend is already up or down when I received the info on TV

You can adjust the sensitivity, please note, both TradingView and MT5 are two different platforms with different coding languages, so the sensitivity maybe not be the same. Also, the Signals & Overlays are eclusive to the TradingVew platform...

You would need to experiment on your own.
But what I can say is, please do not use these signals as your primary entry condition.

Hi there - what do you mean? How many trades are taken will be down to your long/short conditions so editing them will result in more/fewer trades taken.

If your talking about multiple entries then you can use the pyramiding within the properties section. Meaning if your in say a long trade and another long condition is met it will take another long condition too

Strange, I'm having no issues using your chart link you provided. You could try removing and re-adding the indicator and the settings again. Make sure you have the settings wrote down/saved though before deleteing the indicator from your chzrt

Hi there - the classifer refers to the ML classifer in the S&O indicator. You can choose between 1-4 in your signals.
(IE: you could put 34 - meaning it will only take signals that are '3' or '4')

I was able to replicate this. If the condition is generated from Luxalgo, it works. However, I can't get it to work by going into the Smart Trail Extremity. I was able to get it to work in a custom alert Script with this code: {bearish_smart_trail} and ({low} <= {smart_trail_extremity} and {high} >= {smart_trail_extremity}). I got this to work, and send me the message with the needed info. However, since it is a custom alert, with the any alert pull function, it only works whenever the candle closes. I need this to alert as soon as the price hits the Smart Trail, and then send me the needed info from the Indicator (smart trail extemity, smart trail). Is there a way to do this?

Is there a way to save settings anywhere other than screen captures? When I update, I lose them. Once I get the settings like I need them, I sent the current chart settings to default. I think they are all set to the default values from LuxAlgo though when I update. Maybe there is a way such as creating a backup layout with the old settings, styling, etc. Surely there is a way that I am not aware of yet.

The closest I got to this is by putting a custom alert script, but it would only return after the candle closes. I need it to be immediate. Something in the code is not allowing the placeholder to work under the setup referenced in the pics. And the setup seems to be the only way to trigger once a price crosses the Smart Trail Extremity. you would want to visualise on the chart when the backtester enters a position, to make sure the entry is correct so yes I recommend having both the indicator and it's backtester on the chart; make sure they both have exactly the same settings

Using the PAC Backtester, I tried to filter trades based on the Trend Catcher indicator.
Buy when Trend Catcher is positive (green).
Sell when Trend Catcher is negative (red).
I attempted to use external indicators, and the closest I managed was to set a condition: Close > Trend Catcher for a buy signal and opposite for a sell.
However, the problem is that Trend Catcher can still display green (positive) even when its value is below the Close price. This means my condition doesn't always align with the actual green/red state of the indicator.

you didn't follow the workaround but I don't think it will work. you can try to set that "trend catcher" greater than close.

one thing to keep in mind: the indicators are designed to work independently (that's why there is 3 of them) and not all the elements can be used externally

I suppose I didn’t fully understand the workaround. Regarding using greater or lower than the Close price , it works, but it won’t accurately reflect how the Trend Catcher functions. This is because the Close price can still be higher than the Trend Catcher line while it remains bullish.

Hmmmm, using a 1m timeframe as a higher timeframe bias is challenging, there will be lots of noise, but if you must, then i would maybe do 15s, but I have never really traded structures or OB's this low of TF's

You can use it in real trade as you don't exactly use the open and close prices in there for your actual trades. In backtesting, however, with an HA chart, the backtester is forced to use the calculated prices, which do not match the real prices for that candle.

Ok. So disregard the before posts, cause that was another issue we were able to figure out. I'm on step 2 of automating a particular strategy. So what I need know, is to have an alarm sent out from PAC, with the actual Market Structure in the message. I could setup up multiple alarms, but I rather have one that in the message, says if it was a CH, CH+ , or BOS, and if it was Bear or Bull. It has to trigger within the candle, not at candle close. Which placeholder are we talking about - I have recommended using {default}, but that placeholder will only work if you use the Any alert function calls and the events selected in that section. The caveat here is that the Any Alert Function will only trigger upon candle close.

As you have mentioned that you cannot use candle closes to confirm, the only way to do this is individual Custom Alerts for every single market structure event that you need alerts for:

1. Select the condition in Custom Alert
2. Type the message you need in the Trading View Message field depending on the condition you selected in Custom Alerts

Yes I can see yellow dots non stop in a row until overlays are bullish, so OR alert will trigger like one one of overlays will turn bullish.

Order block volume data will show only if these 2 conditions are there: 1 - the function is enabled in the indicator, and 2 - the provider you are using sends volume data to Trading View. For example the provider/broker OANDA has volume data, so assets such as EURUSD, XAUUSD from OANDA will have volume info, however the provider/broker Forex.com does not. Try using another provider for that asset.

As for the Fibonacci, have a read through docs: https://docs.luxalgo.com/docs/toolkits/price-action-concepts/fibonacci You would need to enable/disable the relevant features used as the top/bottom of the fibonacci for this to show up.
