Hey Micky, here is my strategy, using the 5 minute, spy and qqq, I first use smart trail (5) to identify the trend and ONLY trade with the trend, I use Trend Tracer 2 for the entry, when it changes color I enter and exit when it changes back. I know, very basic but it works. Basically identifying the trend, and find places to scalp. I have attempted to back test this using the ai back testing but not working. Any suggestions?

@deep dock I ran across this similar to what you described. I was getting recommendations of confirmatioin bearish for longs and confirmation bullish for shorts. I told Ai that it made no sense and it came back saying that i was correct and should be bullish and bearish with respect to the direction of the trade. Not sure how the win rate coulde be 83 percent that way. Thought this might be helpful to you since the prompt to re-evaluate agreed with common sense.

hey on the SO backtester. i setup a % stop loss trail on a position. but it looks liek it enters and exits the position on the same candle. for the backtesting feature, i assumed it would enter a position at the end of a candle close? is it entering when the candle begins?

you can see 2 positions here. one went a few candles. one was in and out on same candle due to wick. but it should enter at candle close. not candle open.

if it is entering a position at candle open and not candle close...is it possible to make it candle close?

oh wait...it looks like thats the second candle its entering on based on long conditions. so entering at start of second candle...is the end of the first candle

When comparing the signal & overlay script and the screener, if we are not using any presets / filters in the main script, and we use same signal mode with the same sensitiity (let's say we use confirmation mode with signal sensitivity 12) , when the main script is still under the continuation of bullish confirmation signal, the screener should shows bullish too under the signal column (or conversely if on the main script is still a continuation of bearish sign then on the screener column it should shows as bearish) isn't it? Hi there, that's for Trading View, not LuxAlgo. And that is just an up-sell that Trading View does. If you don't trade those specific exchanges, then you don't need the subscription.

And no, not all Trading View charts are real time. Futures charts (such as NQ!, ES!) require a data subscription, for example.

Hi there, that's due to how Heikin Ashi candles are calculated. As an alternative, you can use the option Use Standard OHLC in your strategy, but Trading View already warns any users of non-standard charts that the results are unrealistic.

The first screen and second screen shot are form the PAC btw - I'm ponly using that tool to show that as the highs are being taken out the labelling is not changing to reflect this

Multi breaks higher is pushing the high level marker higher as the structure has not been confirmed yet, you need a pull back to confirm the level high

For premium/discount, or strong/weak high/low, we must have a swing structure confirmation for these levels to be confirmed.

Much rarer set-up, and that is why it does not show anything

So leave at NONE for all

But it would be really cool if the LA team can incorporate Buyside/Sellside within PAC indicator with percentage rates of how weak/strong it may be. This would be really awesome. I use this daily when trading ETFs and it’s super helpful.

So when would it show as "mitigated" vs outside - I am trying to understnd how the indicator describes Mitigated here. I can clearly see that the price came into the zone and the PAC screener never changed at all s I am wondering when would it show mitigated ? Is it only when the price goes through completely ?
Considering there is also within / Entered etc and the price line is clearly within the FVG that was previosuly partilly mitigated on the way down -> How should this be considered ?
And what would the price action have to be for it to be considered "Within" then ?

FVG's are 3 candlestick pattern, so on the 3rd bar, the wick is not inside the FVG, never crossed inside, so while the 3rd candle is still forming, it is outside. If the wick was inside the fvg, it with be within.

Yes, users have a token balance that determines how much they can use the AI. The token balance, displayed as a percentage in the sidebar, resets at the first of each month. Once it reaches 0, the AI assistant will no longer be available until the balance is refreshed.

When the AI Backtesting Assistant can’t fetch strategies or our documentation, a loading component “Thinking” will keep appearing.

Waiting can sometime fix the issue, however, in case where the AI can no longer perform retrieval operations refreshing the page might be necessary.

BTW if you refresh the page you will lose anything you have been working on. This should be added to the documentation

I have alerts set up using the ML Classifier on the Custom Alert Creator. I receive alerts and I check my charts and often find that the classifier is not there. Once I play a bit with the signals sensitivity I can find the classifier.

What I needed to know is, what sensitivity setting does the ML Classifier use in Custom Alert Creator. Does it use the optimal sensitivity or the signals sensitivity I have defined or something else? If I autopilot set up does that affect the sensitivity on the ML Classifier in Custom Alert Creator. Talking about Custom Alert Creator specifically, not the ML Signal Classifierr in the Basic Settings.

Hi there, the indicator will only show the volume data if the information is provided to Trading View. You can double check this by selecting another ticker/provider such as XAUUSD by OANDA.

It tells you in the scanner channel which each number will alert you for in terms of timeframes

You move your mouse over the ticker name and click the '...' then click 'security info..' this will display the exchange time for the ticker you are on.
