Hi there, even though none of us mods are developers, I don't think that would be possible, because "Repainting" precisely means that the values previously posted can/will change as new candles are printed. If ever you can set an alert, it will be way after those signals come out. In any case, best to ask in a Pinescript forum or ChatGPT.

For trend catcher/tracer switches, you would need to do the following steps:
1 - Add S&O to your chart, remove everything except trend catcher/tracer (whichever you are using)
2 - Add the free indicator Momentum to your chart, set Length = 1, set Source = Signals and Overlays Trend Catcher (or Tracer)
3 - For the condition trend catcher switching bullish, use Mom crossing over 0 in your condition, for switching bearish, crossing under 0

Just remember that this won't work for successive TPs like Partials

Please bare in mind also this uses indicator or indicator so will require a higher TradingView subscription

I suggest that in S&O, the optimal sensitivity be set to automatic, as it is tiring and frustrating to have to quickly change time frames and adjust the sensitivity each time you switch. Therefore, if you could implement a function that automatically adjusts the sensitivity to the optimal level for each time frame, it would be fantastic. This would save us a lot of time.

I have integrated custom alerts (using PAC for this strategy) the only thing that I am missing is the possibility to choose day’s that the bot wont take signals (weekend). Once you have gone through the link above, try to talk through the condition you want to set. The current pic you have posted basically means "Fire a notification when the MA Fast line crosses BTCUSDT.P price of 0.0. This alert will go off Once Per Candle if it is True."

Unfortunately it is a known issue with Trading View. No workaround for it, unfortunately. Refreshing the dashboard by changing the settings seems to be the only way to fix it, which is tedious. The team is aware of the issue.

not a bug, because you have step 1 for both downtrending ST and TT, and step 2 is close crossing the extremity.
step 1 is achieved way behind, now S&O is waiting for step 2 to happen, then the alert fires. when is step 2 happening (close crossing extremity) that's the full sequence completed.

try to put all on step 1 ad it should resolve your issue

As far as you alerts that dont trigger, I am not sure as we do not know your settings, symbols, bar type, or charting timeframe. As this is a free open source indicator, revisions can be coded on your own. If this is not an option, you can request here #🔍feature-requests but unless there is an error functionality of the indicator, the team will probably note the request for future updates, but not likely as the functionality is as expected with no errors

Hi there - as with all our free LuxAlgo indicators they are already open source meaning that the code itself is available and can be edited to suit your needs as you see fit via the Pinescript code available. (IE: add specific alerts)

Not all our free indicators have alerts coded into them but as the source code is available, individuals can choose to add the alert code in should they wish to do so. I understand not everyone is a coder, so maybe chat gpt / pinescript commmunities can guide you on how to add specific alerts to our free indicators

Hi @rich chasm the OB shows up starting on the 18th of September. I currently have TV Premium, and PAC starts showing items on the 26th of September. I would suggest using a higher timeframe than 1 minute when using Daily OBs.

Hello! I have a quick question about presets. I've been play around with it, and I guess I found unexpected behavior. Good scenario, for example, if I use Swing Trader preset, it ignores any other setting, sensitivity, or signal mode, it just hard set to Swing Trader, which is super nice and reliable preset based on Neo Cloud. But for instance, when I use scalper or trend trader, it considers my sensitivity or even signal mode, disregarding smart trail and trend catcher possitions. Same with scalper, it ignores reversal zones and just showing signals based on sensitivity settings

this is expected, it is then up to you how you adjust the sensitivity. I personally love keeping it at 12 (default), however if you run the scalper filter, exploring the autopilot short term could also be an option. backtest, backtest and backtest is the key to success 🙂

@brisk sky So I had a look at your conditions, and the reason why the entry was too late was because of the logic of the steps. I suggest that instead of using a Crossing condition for the Smart Trail, use Low Greater Than Smart Trail if you want to check if the Smart Trail is Bullish (meaning the candle is above the Smart Trail). Use High Less Than Smart Trail for Smart Trail is Bearish (meaning the candle is below the Smart Trail). Then you just have to fix when to use this condition in your logic. Best to use it as part of the last step.

If its still doesnt works on other symbols or timeframes, and you created a new chart, then we need to keep trying other scenarios on your end. The only difference here is, I am on higher TV plan, which I dont think it matters, but maybe since you are on a 1m TF

@grizzled plinth As of now, we cant blame the LuxAlgo indicator as you have a multitude of 3rd party indicators on your chart.
Please clean this chart, create a new chart, with no 3rd party indicators, and just show the PAC indicator so we can pinpoint the issue

You have way too many indicators on your chart, something is conflicting, maybe memory, maybe resource hungry from all the indicators and your TV plan

Also, I took you chart template, deleted all the indicators and left Price Action Concepts.
It had the error.
Then I reset it back to default settings, and then it worked fine.

Hi @pallid gazelle The team checked on their end and the indicators seems to be working, The supply and Demand Profiles has an input for Start and End time, there are also 2 vertical lines on the chart that can be moved. But if you don't see the lines you can change the dates in the settings.

The issue is your PAC indicator settings and PAC backtester settings do not match. Thus causing you to visually see a bullish BoS on chart due to your PAC indicator but not closed on the PAC backtester because its different settings.

PAC indicator has internal set to: 5
PAC Backtester has internal set to: 3

If you change the PAC indicator internal to '3' to match the PAC backtesting system, then you will see no bullish BoS has been produced hence why your trade is still open as the exit conditions have not been met.

Hi there, i believe Chris replied to you here: #🤝support message regarding the indicator is working with a brief description on the start/end time with 2 vertical lines on your chart. Also mentioned how if you dont see the lines, you can change the dates in the settings.

We won't provide chart templates, its upto the individual to add any indicator to the chart and use however they see fit

There is no template to provide. The default start and end time will not work (that default will be changed) so you need to change the start and end times yourself in settings. And ensure you’re not on a timeframe above monthly. Nothing else is being changed to need a template. But if that is still not working for you I can only report it back to the team unfortunately to look further into

They are exit signals (represented by colored crosses). A bullish exit signal is displayed as a blue cross, while a bearish exit is displayed as an orange cross.

You can click percentage, but also utilise the highlight on chart feature which will give you a little blue dot where alert conditions would have triggered a notification before actually setting the alert. This gives you a feel of the alerts too and where possible conditions would have triggered

I have a favor to ask,

I have been heavily using the smt divergence free indicator, and honestly it is the best in the market.
I am trying to completely understand how it forms and appears in the chart and am having a lot of issues.
I have the full understanding of what is smt divergence, and i am aware of the pivot look back.
From what i understand, pivot look back, waits 3 candles before it confirms the smt.
My problem is, sometimes when i look at the nq es charts separately, i also identify the smt but sometimes more often. And sometimes, the smt i identified, doesnt appear in the charts. So i really would love to learn and understand how smt is formed from the script, and what are the conditions. I went through the doc before i came here, and didnt get as much.

For references, my smt settings, nq es comparison, with pivot look back 3.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

We are not coders, just moderators. Other than the documentation on the LuxAlgo website, we cannot advise on the coding what produces the SMT Divergences. But as with all our free indicators, the source code is made public so it can be accessed and changed/looked at in finer detail.

It will most likely be due to the swing lookback period the code uses as opposed to what you visually see (that you identify)

The SL/TP will only give you an initial SL1/2 - TP1/2 level. Once them targets have been reached, it will not change until a new signal is generated thus causing a new SL/TP1-2
