does the optimal sensitivity (S&O) work in replay mode with regular candles in TradingView?

It does adjust, dashboard, during bar replay, just like in real time, but you would need to manually input these adjusted values into the settings, so the replay will need to be stopped to update the settings. So not sure if you really want to do this

These toolkits function with the price action data that comes into the chart, not relied on actual times of the day, such as NY open. Its all about the ebb and flow of the chart.

Question about PAC (backtest).
Are liquidity grabs probe to repainting? I have an alert on liq. grab which triggers as per alert log but some of those are not shown on the historical chart. I suppose they trigger as liq. grab appears but at the same bar it disappears? So I end up with more alerts (and positions) then on historic chart.

• copy this current layout to a new chart layout
• create another alert, removing the webhook as we are just doing this for data purposes.
  Then we will compare both the first, second set of your alerts versus the set I will do.

Please bare in mind though premium is above the equilibrium, discount is below it (equilibrium being the 50% zone)
The premium/discount zone is ever changing as price action evolves, so its impossible to have it exact when price reaches premium/discount. But you can have it when its in the premium/discount 'zones' (above/below the eq)

you need to enter these inside condition 4(External 1):

• for buys use close < equilibrium bottom
• for sells use close > equilibrium top

hey there, by default the volume element is disabled, so you have to access the screener settings and go to the "Screener Elements" section in the S&O screener settings.
Find the Volume element and look for the volume option.

That is not true. It just happened as a matter of fact, here is proof for ya. You can see the first picture shows the Custom alert creator with 3 seperate parameters, you can then see a alert triggered at 16:00 for candle close and on the chart only see two of those conditions true. This happens often.

you should have "once per bar close", that's when all the elements are confirmed. the candle can oscillate between signal and no signal for a full hour, it is important how the candle closes.

I noticed when manually backtesting the S&O (on 2M chart) in replay mode that the optimized sensitivity sometimes changes/glitches (in the same section) so I have to replay the same section multiple times to make sure it's correct. I am not sure what you mean by the optimized sensitivity changing/glitching. Please note that replay is not a reliable way of replicating what happens real time, as not all real time tick data is stored by Trading View. In any case, I wouldn't recommend following signals blindly but to follow the trend in a higher time frame so there is less noise and less dependency on sensitivity changes.

I'll replay right before NY open and get one optimal setting and as I'm replaying through the session it'll change optimized settings and then I'll go to replay the same section right before NY open and it keeps the same optimal setting that was during NY session. This only happens sometimes. Is the optimal setting that's recommended in replay accurate to what it would say in real-time?

I will ask the team, but I have already been discussing replay and its limitations with them. It is not a reliable way of replicating everything that happens in real time because of the way data is delivered in Trading View.

A couple of pointers on the Smart trail. It consists of 2 lines, Smart Trail and Smart Trail Extremity. The line closest to price (as you can see on the Data Window) is the Extremity. Use the crossing condition with price if you want to determine if the current candle is entering the smart trail, or when the smart trail switches color. In the picture here, a switch in color happens when the Smart Trail crosses the candle close. Have a look for yourself by checking the data window and hovering over the candle, and comparing the values.

Subjective for each trader.

Just because some website says it’s red, some traders don’t view that news release as impactful for the symbol they are trading. I use a source that doesn’t use the label “red.” Example, TradingView news calendar does not use red, green, purple, white to classify the news release. This is up to you and how you use each news release. There is no hard rule for this. Very subjective as it pertains to fundamental analysis.

Hope you are doing well. I have some questions about the S&O settings.
I am trying to set it up using the following trade settings:

• +Bullish
• +Bearish
• Smart Trail
• Bullish Exit
• Bearish Exit
  Questions:

1. As I understand, the small "x" that is orange or blue indicates that the position will take 50% profit. The full position will exit when a new bullish or bearish position is opened. Did I understand this correctly?
2. For some positions, there seems to be no small "x." Why is this?
3. If a candle is purple/ blue is there any possibility to filer out this trades - I mean so there is no alert on it?
4. How can I backtest this strategy?

Hi there, got some info from the team regarding the concern of the neo cloud filter + AI classifier. This behavior is as expected. Initial filtering of signals is done with the neo cloud, then the AI classification is performed on the filtered signals. The AI classifier numbers will likely change due to having a different set of (filtered) signals to work with, hence resulting in that signal being removed as the only desired signals were those with 3 and 4 classifier.

Imbalances are Fair Value Gaps and don't display imbalance data as you mention. I think you're getting them mixed up with Order Blocks internal activity and metrics. Order blocks display internal bullish/bearish activity and also the volume percentage associated with that order block if you have 'internal buy/sell activity' element selected. (See picture for reference)

You can use placeholders such as: {ob_volume} {ob_sell_volume} {ob_buy_volume} to receive such data in the alert

How do you trade market structures and orderblocks? Just enable the features to help you visualize your existing strategy. That's it.
