Screener (PAC) 1.0 issue using the same asset across many time frames from 1min, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 1h 2h and 4h using ETHUSDT on Binance.
if the "OB Volume" is enabled often times it will result in study error or the display not generating.
When un checking it is able to generate consistently.

On Price Action Concept, in the volume metric area there’s a number and %. Does that number and % represent the total volume or volume of sellers in supply zone only and volume of buyers in demand zone only?

This should help, when you have a larger amount buyers/sellers, it doesn't necessarily mean that price will go in that direction, but it can provide insight when price revisits these OB's.

Actually, when price does cross Smart Trail, this is when the Smart Trail Switches Up or Down.
You can locate this condtion within the Custom Alerts settings.

To be honest I am not sure as I use the premium toolkits solely, and most of the open sourced indicators do not have the alert customization as found within the premium toolkits, and we are limited on what can be achieved with the TV Alert Panel. @austere night please note that this particular open source indicator does repaint, so not sure if you have reviewed the description and the use-case of this feature. You can disable the "repainting smoothing" to display what the real time visuals could look like moving forward.

This may help.
Yes, there is a way to visually see the alerts when your alert sequential conditions are confirmed.
If you use the "custom alerts," within the premium toolkits, the "highlight bar" will visually plot these alert in color dots on the highlight bar. I may found a bug in one indicator: when using the alert function of the Inversion fair value gaps indicator and filtering the signals by increasing the ATR multiplier, it only affects visuals. The alerts for not visible signals are still sent.

You can see it perfectly in the screenshots, there were alerts at 6:00 but no visible signals on the chart

Hi there, the open source Lux indicators do not have the same level of alert customization that you will find in the premium toolkits, so we are limited to what is already in there. As it is open source, you can of course do your own modifications to achieve what you want via Trading View's Pinescript.

With regard to videos for basic trading concepts, you can find a lot of those on the internet. The materials on the site will discuss some of those in relation to the indicators.

LuxAlgo does not provide bots per se, however the backtesting systems can help with providing a structure for such for use with Trading View's alert system: https://docs.luxalgo.com/backtesting-system/s-o/introduction

You can find more information about 3rd party platforms integrating with Trading View and connecting to exchanges and such on the internet.

It will be confirmed at bar close. You may see it flashing on the screen as the candlestick is forming, but once the candle is closed it is done. None of the premium indicators repaint.

Yes, so you can see it going on and off during the candle, but once all data for the candlestick is complete, i.e., close is done, then it will not be removed. Please note though: that if you use HA candles, the candles by their very nature repaint after bar close.

Steps allows creating sequence of conditions, which when met trigger an alert. When a condition with a step equal to 1 is met the next condition associated with step 2 will be evaluated (if enabled) and so on for higher steps (if any).

For instance, look at below chart, It is set for 5mn and the screener says its in Buy state but with 2 exit signals(TP I assume 'X') given? there is not a single exit signal printed then why is it saying exits as 2??

For TP/SL, you will need to use a crossing alert. Read docs here on how to get started with such: https://docs.luxalgo.com/docs/getting-started/setup-alerts#trigger-conditions. However, only take profit 1 and stop loss 1 are available for use. For specific info on each indicator's alerts, search docs: https://docs.luxalgo.com/docs/luxalgo-toolkits/signals-overlays/alerts

When you create a Trading View alert, it will only trigger in TV. the options for such are available in the notifications tab. Do read up more on how to set up Trading View alerts in TV blogs.

For sending alert messages to Telegram, that would be via use of a 3rd party platform connecting to Trading View alerts via webhooks. Do search the internet for such.

To include TP/SL in your alert, be aware that this info is only available when a signal is generated. Use the logic found here in Trading View's blog: https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000531021-how-to-use-a-variable-value-in-alert/. As for the plot names, you can find them in the data window (first 20 values are available for use in alerts)

There is also the TradingView support desk that also details the functionality of the TradingView alerts and the "alert panel." The LuxAlgo docs provide a few samples and use-cases in setting-up the alerts, with the LuxAlgo toolkits, assuming you are familiar with the TradingView functionality of their alert functions and alert-panel. So please take the time to familiarize yourself with the general alerts functionality with the help of the TradingView support resources regarding their alert functionality. Then once you have a good grasp for this, you can then start slowly with your actual alerts for the LuxAlgo toolkits. It is very challenging for anyone to go over every conditional, sequential scenario for these alerts, as there are tens and thousands of scenarios with the different types of traders/members in our community. Hope this helps to further your understanding of these toolkits.

When you select these 2 events/conditions in the Any alert section of S&O, these are triggered once price reaches those levels. In the alert log that you posted, it means that price hit the stop loss level at the time of the alert.

Try it out using the custom alert section as below, and use the custom highlight bar to determine if your conditions are correct. Quick tip: have all conditions on Step 1, as you need your selected conditions to be true at the same time. Here is an example with only the condition Bearish Confirmation+

Yes, you will do one side at a time, create your Trading View alert, then do the other side, and create the other Trading View alert. As TV alerts are set with the indicator/chart settings upon time of creation, this can be done with no issues. The settings of alerts are not updated when the chart/indicator is updated.

No. The difference between Ultimate and Premium is that Ultimate also includes the 3 backtesters, one for each Premium indicator, S&O, PAC and Oscillator Matrix.

Loving the new screeners, but had a quick question. I use 80 Range bars on my chart. On the screener, default settings all of my tickers are set to chart but I notice a 1 next to the symbols. So since it's set to chart are all of the screeners/singals going off the 80 range bars or going off the 1 minute? Just checking since it says 1 next to them. I believe the screeners are based on the user defined traditional time based candlesticks such as minute, daily, monthly etc. this maybe the fact that the screener is reverting to a 1m for the screener ticker when the main chart is an exotic candle type. Hey there. Here is how I view these new Screeners.
The screeners act like another set of eyes for me, and not actually a buy/sell entry indicator.
Depending on what I like to look for (filters/elements), the screeners will help me look at other tickers, other than the current ticker on my chart, and other timeframes of the same ticker that is on my current chart.
The screeners provide me a warning or a heads-up, so that I can revert back to that actual chart, the screener was alerting me to, in order to make a proper analysis, to decide if I want to open or close a position.

For some reason my alerts are not triggering using Lux with Trading View. Not sure why, hmm. I have created a simple alert using Signals and Overlays. Within it I have set in CUSTOM ALERT CREATOR. Signal (Any Bullish). And finally in External Step (1) Lux Algo Hyperwave Greater than 50. All ANY ALERT FUNCTION CALL CONDITIONS are blank and for my actual alert, while creating I have picked Custom Alert Condition and set to trigger only once. This is to trigger off BTCUSD. Any idea why not triggering. Or is there a very basic one I can do with Lux to test that it will work.

it triggered here, you also have on your chart to show AI classifier but your condition is set for any bullish.

I think that was an earlier one but the most recent Hyperwave trigger which did work seemed to not show. I will test it out a bit more. Just to double check, is there an 'at a min' example I can look at for the Trading View alert - one I can use to test a simple trigger using the Signals and Overlays. I have tried a few combinations but unfortunately cannot get them to fire

but you want you alert to be bullish signal + hyperwave (2 conditions) not just 1. so you need to have both.

disregard the placeholder default

so your alert will trigger when you have both conditions met(step 1 bullish signal, step 2 hyperwave above 50). it triggered where I circled on your screenshot, next alert will trigger when both conditions are met again.

If you want to test this out, I suggest you go on the 1 min timeframe and pick signal sensitivity 1. you will have so many alerts, I used this for testing purposes in the past.

Will try it out thanks. I have kept it simple and selected for the 1 Min BTCUSD chart to trigger via Custom Alert "Any Bullish Confirmation" - and that's it. See how it goes.

Been playing about and no joke have about 20 alerts set all different things and none (apart from Hyperwave selection) had fired. Very odd. Opened up a support request with Trading View.

Ok one triggered now on the 1 minute chart for BTCUSD at the open there of the first Green Bullish Signal - Alert is set to be CUSTOM ALERT CREATOR. Signal (Any Bullish). And finally in External Step (1) Lux Algo Hyperwave Greater than 50. That did it. However I don't see the grid Highlight on grid color which is weird. Any idea?

Not sure what is happening. Removed the indicator - readded, reset the defaults etc. What is weird is that the Hyperwave (when setting the external step) in it to be greater than 50 it works. Looks like it is now working. It triggered now on the 1 minute chart with these settings - can also see the blue highlight on chart there too. What seemed to do it was waiting on the Green 2 signal coming up. It seemed to trigger then once that condition was met.

Can you provide some screenshots of the way the alert should be configured if we want it to meet the conditions of Bullish signal, 1 ( candle retouches the smart trial line and bounces up) and 2 Hyperwave meets condition of greater than 50. Awesome. Experiment using the highlight bar, that's what it is there for. You can use it to verify that the alert will come out where you expect it in previous candles. It helps you visually backtest your custom alerts.

So I did a search on the DOCUMENTATION and the A.I. that's built in now said this:
"The Lux Volatility icon appearing on the dashboard can return either "Stable" during periods of low volatility or "Volatile" during periods of high volatility. The icon will be an upward trend 📈 when volatility is rising and a downward trend 📉 when volatility is declining. Additionally, the icon can display with a warning sign indicating extra caution when the volatility is either too low or too high."

I still don't understand why upward trend is RED and downward trend is GREEN. LOL

Not just closed, but logged off, as the TV app is still active in the background on most of our devices.
You can try that to see if it helps.
Also, how many indicaors and what indicators you have on your chart and how low a timeframe you have on your chart? As this may have an effect on your template as well.....
