You are using the repainting option as seen from the dashed lines of the indicator. Turn that off, and use a price crossing condition upper/lower in the Create Alert dialog in TV:

@carmine surge I have alerts setup for the 1 and 5 minute charts for about 26 different assets, so 52 alerts in total and everyday I keep having to re-enable alerts that have stopped due to calculation errors. This is a huge problem because I'm using those alerts to drive an automated trading application and having alerts randomly stop due to calculation errors can cause me to not ever exit positions or enter new ones because the entries and exits are driven by the alerts. Can you guys take a look and see what is possibly causing these intermittent calculation failures based on the criteria I have selected in PAC?

Only on the any() alert function calls that I've noticed as that is the only one that I'm using. Some days its just a couple, but when I got up today 10+ of them had failed due to "stopped - calculation error". And whats frustrating is all I have to do is click the play button on the alert and it restarts perfectly fine.

Like on AUDUSD, the 5M alert kept going, but the 1M alert failed

There's a nearly 8 hour gap between when it failed and then I logged on and restarted it

In live it would be custom alerts, step 1 any imbalance with Inverse FVG selected under imbalances and then step 1 any CHoCH under market structure

This way it evaluates both conditions as AND at the same time as step 1. You can verify this by setting custom alert visible on the chart and then going to bar replay and replaying these bars so you can see the alert fire on the chart

All choch and bos are valid when confirmed at candle close. No such thing as a fake choch. Price can move one tick in the direction of the choch and reverse, or it can move 100 ticks before it reverses. But all choch when confirmed at candle close are valid. These are really not entry signals, but are just market structure plots. So we must analyze the entire chart to make our own decision. This is the same with the data from the dashboard. We must take all information and formulate some rules for ourselves to give us a higher probability for our directional analysis

I believe the stock ltf scanner alerts are actually shorter time frames then the regular stock alerts. It seems I get shorter time frames on ltf and longer time frames on the default stock alerts. They are flip flopped. If you take a look at the alerts, you will see what I’m talking about.

Hi there, using both conditions as step 1 is the best way forward: any internal + any imbalance, though you can also have them properly paired together, any internal bullish + bullish imbalance. There may be a one candle delay sometimes as this has to do with when FVGs are confirmed, as an imbalance is a 3 candle formation.

Hey there, tough question, as there are numerous of combinations for all types of asset classes, symbols, charting timeframes, and trading style. There are 5 different lengths of each overlay we can chose, and 5 different overlays, so that affords us under 4,000 combinations. LOL
But for me, I mix and match each day before I trade, because on the same symbol, price action differs everyday, so I will attempt to adjust my charts to that price action, since I cannot force price action, do to what I want it to do....hope this makes sense

@deep dock noticing through extensive backtesting that the default value of 5 in the PAC Market Structure is much less profitable than setting a default value of 3. Tested all micro futures and multiple forex pairs on 1/5/10/15 mostly with a pretty resounding result of 3 mostly resulting in profits with 5 resulting in near break even or losses. Perhaps, might be worth calling out in the docs that a lower market structure setting might also need to be set when trading on a lower timeframe.

Not necessary I dont believe, as these are all user defined settings that we each experiment on our own for the best optimization for our set-ups.

They are forming correctly, an order block is created on the confirmation of the next market structure. Additionally once an order block has been broken/mitigated and then price crosses that same level again, (as in this screenshot) the order block disappears. If you turn on breakers you will see the broken order blocks and if you back through bar replay with breakers turned on, you will see the breakers disappear as they are re-mitigated

Yash, only you can set up Google Pay You will require to download the Google Pay app, sign into your google account. Then follow the instructions to secure your Google Pay app and add a bank account/ debit or credit card. Works on Android devices I think that the iphone has a similar system apple pay. To make a payment just continue to a checkout and you usually will be given the choice re the method to pay and just select the method of your choice. Hope this helps

I asked where you want to set it so I can guide you. You will need to add another S&O indicator on your chart (it can be left inactive) because you need to grab the candle colour value from there.

so you have 2 S&O on your chart, on the first S&O scroll down to External Step (2) and select Bar color value -> crossing over -> 0 (purple to green in this example)

green : 1
purple: 0
red: -1

if you use PAC, you don't need 2 S&O, you can do it from 1 of them. You only need 2 if you're trying to do this via the S&O route because you need to take a child (candle colour) from a different parent (S&O #2)

You can use the same parent (S&O #2) for both S&O #1 and PAC if you want.

I'm trying to use a service which combines tradingview alerts for the Oscillator. I'm trying to use custom alerts, reversals (step 1) and divergances (step 2) - the service i use requires me to add the following in the alerts - adf51|[ticker]:{{ticker}},[price]:{{close}} lux. Will this work or am I misunderstanding what the custon alert creator is for.

i'd read it but the code isn't fully placeholders so I don't know if it will work, e.g the adf51| and lux in the code.

If you are using the Custom alert only, and nothing from Any alert(), I would recommend using the TV alert dialog instead as that will use standard TV placeholders.

The intent of the big text box there is for Any alerts - as when you select that option in the TV alert dialog there is no option to enter messages there.

So use the Message field in the TV alert for your custom message. That should work with no issues @tribal nimbus

Still nothing on mine, which is very odd. Let's try something though. Please turn off Premium/Discount, as you already have Strong High/Low enabled. Also turn off other features you are not using if possible.

By the way, why do you have so many PAC on your chart? I don't see much differences on each one, is there a specific reason? Please remember that TV has become more strict with their rules, and are enforcing calculation limits. Do turn off features you do not use @restive sandal
