Hey there, yes you can use TV alert webhooks for this, but unfortunately, these are processed through 3rd party services, and LuxAlgo and myself are unfamiliar with these services that integrate TV webhooks for trade execution into your brokerage of choice....But I am sure there are tutorials on the web. You can also chat with members here in the other channels, they may have successfully integrated this process, and may offer some help to you.....

I am trying to get long entry and exit specific messages from alerts in email. I entered long entry and exit messages in LuxAlgo S&O 1.2 backtesting system. However when I get alert in email, I see both long entry and exit messages in the alert. I want to see only long entry message in long entry alert trigger and long exit in long exit alert. As of now TV doesn't allow custom scanners to be built using indicators. I do see some indicators that try to do so by manually listing down the assets/symbols to look at, but it's not really a scanner per se.

It would, because with a bigger latency, the alerts will arrive at your bot in the right order. You mentioned that TV actually has them in the right order but the receipt of the bot was incorrect. With a bigger gap presumably it would give time for the bot to catch up. That was his reasoning at that time 🙂

so the reason for closing a trade can be different (by strategy, by opposite signal, by reaching SL)

i can define what to do in case a close signal is received but because the reason for this is not always the same this will not work

so if a normal close happens without an opposite signal it would wrongly open a trade instead of just closing

oh btw i just saw also in TV first the buy order was triggered and then the exit order

the bottom is the buy signal, the upper is the exit signal. they were also received in this order by my bot

The logic right now in the BTs is as follows, close upon opposite signal, TP or SL whichever comes first among the 3.
In answer to your question about whether or not you can fix the order with custom alert messages, unfortunately, no, because the timing of the alert will still be the same.

Yes, I have, I tried but I could use only level of money flow and lower/upper threshols over/under money flow (under this condition very rough selection). Hyper wave reading is not effective for conditions at all as reading as a lot of mistakes. Hyper wave seems is effective in more abouts contstant trend and never in range. But I could observed that only confluence zones have good selections for long/short signals.

the pac is not the issue in this regard it is the other indicator. when you check my screenshots you will see. i have disable the pac so you can clearly see the levels on the ob/bb indicators. The top chart (CL) top of ob is 71.75 as shown in my screenshot and bottom chart (CL again) ob is 72.35. both same exact settings.. why is this happening?

Yes, that is the purpose of the optimal sensitivity, its changes with the ebb and flow of the price. Typically it shouldnt change too much, but you are on a 1 minute chart, and this alone, I would guess that it would change very often.

These are up for interpretation with confluence with other tools in our own strategies.
1 through 4 doesn't necessarily mean the degree of the potential of the signals, sure it can be, but depends on your strategy. Here is the announcement that provides more details on how one "could" interpret these signals. Please note, these AI signals are not a mechanical concept alert that provides a black and white rule. These signals "can" provide information of the ebb and flow. But you can always disable these, if you feel that these are insufficient for your style. Hope this makes sense

Depending on the actual custom alerts and how complex or long the sequence is, I dont think this is possible as all the sequences must be funneled to one indicator with the core alert sequence and utilizing externals for the other 2 sets of custom alert sequences

What do you mean? If you are talking about the placement of the dotted line, just be aware when you squeeze a lot of indicators in a small space, it doesn't necessarily have the correct proportions. As long as all the values are correct then it's fine.

Hi, I'm trying to use the trading view backtester to test strategies based on price action concepts indicator. I noticed in the data window that there is a "Custom Alert Condition HIghligher". However it is not available to use as an external source to drive a strategy. If this was exposed then the trading view backtesting framework could be used to test startgies , Which would really increase the value of the subscription.

Currently only these values are available to select as sources to drive backtesting strategies.

This is a commonly asked question - the reason for such is that the confirmation of the order block happens on a break of structure, or change of character.

Yes, you can, but there are pros and cons. You can make the length of your internal market structure shorter, which means the BOS/CHOCH can happen sooner based on the lookback. But you can possibly get more OBs which are not too significant.

It is possible to tell the future of where OB's will be formed, it needs a structure change in order for an OB to appear a few bars back. Just like higher highs or lower lows, we dont know until the structure forms.....

Where should I get access from

When you purchased the subscription plan on the website, you should get a welcome email with instructions on how to connect your discord ID and trading view ID. Once you have done those everything is automatic and you will have access. Just make sure to connect the correct IDs, which are case sensitive.

Hi there, unfortunately, there is no way you could do this for now. Previously there was a feature for making nested PAC alerts using the custom alert variable, but due to TV issues, it had to be removed. As an alternative, some peeps use OB as step 1 and BOS as step 2, but it doesn't work all the time as OBs are not guaranteed to be on each swing every time.

No, but what you can do instead is to set the length of internal market structure to the same as your swing so you can use those alerts.

And second, as a workaround, set the length of internal to say 25, and set the structure timeframe to 4x your current TF.

thanks, another thing if I may, I noticed several things with the PAC : 1st, im using the pac 1.4.7, assuming it is the latest version, why am i not able to see a MTF Scanner with several timeframes? whenever I put the MTF Scanner on, I can see only 1 cell.

Another thing - in the free version of the PAC ( SMC ) there is a way to show / hide historical structure, here its not available - is there a reason for that?

The 4 TF scanner had to be removed due to TV updates: #🔊announcements message. I don't know the reason for such, and in general I don't hide historical structure myself. I am not sure what you mean by "try to download Luxalgo" as the Premium indicators by LuxAlgo are based on the Trading View platform. You can use TV on a browser or on their mobile apps, and use the indicators when you log into to your Trading View account.

@jovial sapphire Or you can use Auto Pilot Long Term and you can easily scan through your watchlist. Then when you want to zoom into your preferred symbol, maybe then adjust the optimal sensitivity signals to your style, as noted above? Just an idea

yeah you create exactly the same alert on every instrument on your watchlist. you might be limited to the number of alerts by tradingview

Hi there, just like with all 3rd party integrations, you would have to manually verify the message you are sending over via the webhook. There are 2 places you can type in your message, one is through the Create alert message box, and the other through the custom user set messages per event: https://docs.luxalgo.com/backtesting-system/alerts

I would recommend that you try this with as simple an alert as possible, not involving any of the backtesters until you have gotten a test message to work @normal girder
