Have you tried to load them to your chart? Should work and the red lock doesnt necessaruily mean you dont have access. Try to load it to chart, and if still doesnt work, just restart TV

Hi there, when you create an alert, it will be associated with whatever settings you had at the time. It won't change even if you update your indicator settings.

If the steps are all #1, then that means they all have to match at the same time. The candle where AI classifier is 3 or 4, and Smart trail is bullish, and Trend Tracer is bullish - according to your settings.

The Any alert() section has been a feature of Lux Premium indicators even before I subscribed, from what I can tell, which is more than a year ago. This is not new, nor is this new behavior.

There are so many alert features available with Lux though so it is easy to get confused, eventually the style and format will be easier to understand.

I will teach you how to look these things up for yourself, in the same way I did when I was first starting out with Trading View. Go to the data window, which is a button on the upper right side of the Trading View desktop app, then look for the Matrix values in your list. Once you see the data window, use your mouse to hover over the point that you want to get the value of. In this case you can see that it is the coordinates of the Oversold HWO Up on screen, so you will use Greater than, 0. Hopefully that helps.

i get alert in TV but on chart i can see this .. this was for most of my last 24 alerts i think on 15m time frame.. just a while ago got 2 alerts for 1 hour time frame and same issue there as well .. TV alerts says there is confirmation but on the chart not signal

Hi @shy relic There seems to be an issue with AI Classifier filtering and alerts. When I filter for 3 and 4 using Advanced Settings, then set up a basic Any confirmation alert using Create Alert, alerts are sent for all 1234. See image, I set up the alert using the top chart, but used the bottom chart with no filtering as reference. @frank vigil has reported the issue here as well #🤝support message

Depends on what condition you choose

Uptrending means bullish, Downtrending means bearish, Switch up is when it transitions from down to up, and Switch down is from up to down.

You could always choose a matching step for when they are all bullish or bearish for example.

Matching step = all have to be true in the same candle

The convenient thing about custom alerts is that you can preview how your alert would behave by checking if the highlight comes out at the right candles @frank vigil before you actually create your alert.

I think we have a pretty good indicators for confluene .. now alerting part should be enhanced more .. by adding conditions where we can use any confirmation .. instead one bull or bear .. and not sure if possible but link all the indicators togethr to make one alert 🙂

Thing is, if it's any confirmation, then you don't need anything "custom" - that was the intent, to filter further. As for the linking, use the external steps below, that's what they are there for 🙂

I found these alerts useful . . i have 1D, 4H , 1H and 15m open in multi layout..and once i get the alert i check the levels on all the time frames. this helps me to understand how valueable this signal is . . as sometime i found that signal was on 15m but it was on a key area on 4h as well

I would like to change the color of the area where the Fair Value Gap is slightly filled, and I would like to request a new update from LuxAlgo to make it easier to see when a portion of the Fair Value Gap is in the process of being filled. I know that I can set up my own mitigation and when I achieve that setting, it will be removed and disappear, but it would be better if the Fair Value Gap would change color in the middle of the area where the price touches it.

I just updated from version (Crypto Charts) PAC 1.4.1 version 1.4.2. I have update about 6 of my charts and 3 the update indicator doesn't work. I keep getting a "STUDY ERROR". I have refreshed TV, deleted from charts and reinstalled with the same results. It doesn't happen on all charts, The ones that is happening with are 24 Minute time frames and above. Just some more troubleshooting info i just seen. When its not working I went time frame by time frame and noticed the 1 hour chart range was the time frame that seemed to be have to biggest problem. I could go up to the 2 hour and 4 hr and was working. However, it wasn't consistent among the different trading pair symbols. just thought I would share.

There is a veriation between trading sysmbols I have noticed. The charts that seemed to be affected the worst was like Bitstamp that I use for very long time and high time frame TA. I suspect It was to due with the larger amounts of data with longer histories.

Shorter histroy charts for newer platforms there is no problem.

These are crypto spectific platforms and sysmbols I I have looked at and tested so far.

Hi @vagrant steppe and @sweet belfry , just had to speak about this topic a little bit. You do not HAVE to update your alerts, unless your alerts can be made better and easier by the update. With regard to updating the template, it is usually best to do so, but sometimes I myself wait a bit until a release comes out with new features that I need 😄 hopefully that clarifies the matter.

Hi @shy relic @frank vigil and I are sorry to nag 😄 the error we encounter is when we use the Advanced Settings section to filter out the AI classifier, and use the Any Confirmation condition in Create Alert to get all alerts with 3 or 4. So far, we both are encountering the same issue that even the 1s and 2s are firing the alert, even though these are no longer displayed on screen. Help us please 🙏

thats normal, the AI filter only remove the signals visually 🙂 all signals will be alerted, else its best to use the custom alert creator

If I have set many alerts with a previous version of PAC, would the alerts still be functional when I use the latest version of PAC?

If not, would this be a solution:

• Having 2 different versions of PAC indicator on the same page, then make the old version invisible. Just as long as it's still in the page, the alerts would keep shooting, I suppose?

The scanner will work only when you use a lower time frame than 1H, but the same info in there would still be: 15m, 1H, 4H, Daily as I recall.

Other than manually, there isn't any other method at this point. According to the Lux team, the backtesting system may be released towards the end of the year. Aside from that, there have been requests for the custom alert variable to made available as an external source, we just have to wait and see.

Each script has a description which would normally have included alerts. In my experience, public or open source scripts have few if any, alerts. You could of course code that in yourself.

Unfortunately I just figured it out. TV broke it due to their upgrade, and because the source code for the indicator includes all seconds charts, it made the the indicator obsolete for any TV plan that doesn't include seconds. I just upgraded my account to "Premium" and it works again. I previously had a Pro account. I hope this helps others.

I have updated. I think you are missing my point. The smart trail "band" can be RED, but the condition "Smart trail uptrending" can be TRUE while the band is red.

The band is composed of SMART TRAIL and SMART TRAIL EXTREMITY

the combo of the two makes the band

So when the band is red, and a bullish alert fires, even though smart trail is trending UP, I don't want a alert

It has no connection to whether or not the area is sloping upwards or downwards.

if that is also a no. is there a separate indicator just for trend trength or lux volatility (that doesnt have the lux algo indicator). the reason being, im designing my own custom dash to receive webhooks from tradingview and i dont want to be receiving signals if the trend strength and lux volatility is low, however if they are separate, i can put together and/or signals. like only display signals on my dash if lux algo premium give and indicator AND the trend is above 50% or the volatility of medium or high. Otherwise dont show me a signal

Need to chime in a little here: there is a Custom Alert section in Signals and Overlays which you can use for trend strength + signal + other conditions that you set. Here’s what I do, if you go to the settings style of Signals and Overlays, you will see the settings for Neo Lag, toggle that on and off and you will see what that refers to. I do this all the time when I dont know an alert call. Also switch up means at the time the trend changes, the time it flips, the switch up to bullish

Sometimes I get stumped on alerts as I am not Mr. Alert Expert, but if I talk it out, like a flow chart, and think like a computer, then eventually, it works. Computers are stupid, you need to tell it exactly what to look for, at what time, and if it needs to look for something else, at that sane time.

Using sessions is tricky in the head, when utilized with custom alerts match/steps

I do not believe so, this is hard coded into the algo to determine these equal highs/lows. There needs to be a certain amount of candles until it confirms these equal H/L’s. What if it does plot an equal high after the 2nd candle’s closing and it’s high is equal to the candle before, then the next candle has a higher high?

I'm guessing over 50 bullish under 50 bearish

Green money flow means more bullish if over 50 correct?

Red money flow and over 50 then we have divergence?

You could already use the Custom Alert variable in Matrix and PAC for this. A number of us have also asked the Lux team to make the Signals and Overlays custom alert available as an external source, but there are some limitations preventing that at the moment. But they know we want it 😁

Bullish confirmation+ with Smart trail, Money flow above 50.

I manage to set custom alert on oscillator with highlight in yellow color

But I am still struggling with signals and overlays.
It seems like those green entry marks should change color to orange?

Is it possible to have those settings in one alert on trading view?

There's a fix to the Smart trail condition, kindly update Signals and Overlays to 6.1.3.

Hello, some of my custom alerts kept getting this notification: Stopped - Calculation error.

It's the same setting for all, most of them works, but every half hour or so, i'll always find some alerts that are stopped this way.

in step 2 it goes AFTER step one.
My question is how much later? In the example image it will go to step 2 when the smart trail is blue. But it can go to step 2 after a long time and by then all the input conditions and the shape of the diagram have changed.
