Getting blue dot in chart at wrong place for alerts

Does anyone know if the plot variables are posted somewhere for custom alerts? e.g. there seems to be values for {{plot_0}} to {{plot_3}} but as a 0 or 1 I have no idea what these represent. I could guess. Are there any other plot variables exposured so I could do things like {{"plot(Smart Trail")}} etc?

Seems to be a problem with the Supply and Demand Visible Range [LuxAlgo] indicator. Every time I load it up it disappears after 5 seconds on any market and timeframe.

I brought this up weeks ago and its still rampant in the charts...not all FVG's are being drawn. Its frustrating and its obvious I cant trust LuxAlgo

Why would settings allow some FVG's and not others? Its not like the settings allow for sensitivity to be set. There are literally FVG's all over that area except for that one specific one which is huge as well

this is mine..they disappear once mitigated...you can chose how you want to consider it mitigated...play around with it untill you get it to look the way you want to on your chart

hi, good morning from spain. i am using the premium signals the "scalper" preset for 15m and mid term signals, up to yesterday, i could turn off the tp and sl signals in tradingview and was working. today, the tp and sl points do not turn off showing all the time. this is the second issue i have in progress now. i teach trading and i use it to find the tp and sl points to my scholars. what can be now this new issue? and before you ask and save time, i have switch to autopilot on off short term mid term long term change sensitivity change the timming.... and keeps showin the tp and sl

That’s an English thing 😅
Down is mainly for use in conjunction with others, so you’d use it as a signal condition if the TC was already down.

Switch Down is for the crossing of the TC, i.e when it changes colour.

Alerts wise, you could use either in this situation, it depends what you’re alerting for.

The picture I provided is just a bad example of a switch from green to red TC

So my question would be, if I set TC to Down, would it catch these fast switches ? Since the Confirmation is printed right above a red part of TC

It would alert based on your signal condition - if you set it to bar close, you’d be alerted for the switch on bar close
You’d want switch down, not down

I have alerts set in Trading View to alert when confirmation+ bullish and bearish. I hear the alert ping on my phone and comuter but dont see it on the screen. My screen will show those. But just not always when the alert triggers. I will here the alert and go to screen and not always see the buy/sell signal. I wonder if its alerting to other settings that im not using. Like trend trader or scalper? When it does trigger the PA is making a move but not always seeing on screen

It is very likely you're changing settings after setting the alert - there aren't any issue with these alerts, I've tested them, so the likely cause is something is being done fundamentally wrong, or you're changing settings after setting the alert

Changing settings and not realising you're invalidating the alert is the likely cause, I've tested the alerts you're setting on the 1m and I have had no issues, unfortunately as you are setting so many alerts for different assets it's difficult for me to pinpoint exactly where you're going wrong 😦

Ya, I have it set like that. I have just noticed some indicators have a confirmation before print, like a RBR happened, and then 3 candles later it would print to confirm it was an OB. I'm asking because I'm using pineconnector and automating with the alerts and testing various situations. So far its working, but earlier it created a long position on a bullish OB, but the OB never printed, but price did breakout up. Weird.

There are 48 alerts set, on 24 charts, (Main: L, Main: T, Main: R) at 11.8.2023, where the last alert is set at 20:50 CET.

On two charts, the conditions are met, yet the alerts did not fire;
CRV 22:35 CET - SHORT
TRU 22:10 CET - SHORT

On each chart there are 4 indicators.
LuxAlgo S&O - Used for the long alerts
LuxAlgo PAC - visuals
LuxAlgo S&O - Used for short alerts
LuxAlgo S&O - visuals (just to confirm that conditions are met of above)

The alerts are named as following;

Your posted video not working, but create a new chart, with default settings for the the indicator, and create new chart again, Make sure when you enable PAC candle color, the candle coloring on the Signals/Overlays is turned off. Both of these will conflict if you have them enabled

Create a brand new chart. Add Signals/Overlays and enable candle coloring.
Then add Price Action Concepts at default, and do not enable cancel coloring.
This should resolve the candle color.

If you enable and disable candle coloring on PAC again, this will conflict again, and the Signals and Overlays candle color may not work again.

Good Evening: I have a question about the Price Action Concepts Premium Indicator. The question has to do with alerts. I want to understand what is the difference between the following type of alerts( alerts which are part of the indicator settings , this would be similar to, say, if I want to turn on the premium and discount zones and make them visible on the chart, and alerts where I go to the chart of the instrument, select the alerts button next to indicator and indicator templates button and then chose the type of alert and time frame so I am notified via email . ) The reason I am asking is that I have the COCH and BOS indications on the chart, I went and turned on these " market structure alerts" and i did not notice any difference on the chart ....... Exits don't always occur after each signal, they are based on the ebb and flow of the price action and a proprietary algorithm within the indicator. What you could also do is enable the Trend Catcher and it does great to show you potential exits areas as well, when the Catcher changes direction, when it flips to the other direction.

Also please note, a confirmation signal in the opposite direction is also another potential exit area.

Question related to Price Action Concepts - OBs on 15 min and 4 Hr timeframes. The default number for this is 5. So is this the last 5 created or the 5 closest to where the price is?

Settings posted for setting up the Price Action Concepts indicator https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1137449177249488968/1139976116497563869/4HPAC-settings.jpg shows 200. This completely clutters up some cypto asset charts on the 15 mins. Any advise on how best to handle (other than using the "hide Overlap" option).

The number 5 you see it is referred to the amount of most recent Volumetric Order Blocks that are going to be displayed on the chart 👍

Hi. I just bought PAC and I'm setting it up. I was hoping to have just orderblocks displayed on one chart from multiple time frames. I watch the 1min chart, but I'd like to see OB's from the 5min and the 15min chart while I'm watching the 1min chart. I was hoping PAC could do this after seeing this tweet. But I'm not sure how to do it... When I change the OB TF in the PAC config to 15min, on the 1min chart, my 1min OB's go away.

Is it possible to create an alert in Signals and Overlays using the Smart Trail filter, where I get an alert if the smart trail color changes to align with the most recent bull/bear signal? I am trying to filter out counter-trend signals, but once the smart trail confirms a new trend, I would like to join it if there was a bull/bear signal that was previously is disagreement with the Smart Trail. Besides the current YT library and the LuxAlgo Docs, Lux is planning on releasing future in-depth videos as we speak. Stay tuned. Also there are at least 1-2 live streams weekly. The recordings are also on LUX YouTube under the Live tab. What also helped me tremendously is watching the LuxAlgo short videos on YT as well, these are actual simple strategies on many individual concepts. It’s really good. My strats that I use and chat about in the rooms and live streams? All came from the YT Shorts. I just mix and match and created a simple strat for myself

Order Block Detector is a bit different, and since its an experimental implementation we did its naturally less precise than the PAC which have a lot more to them

Ok, well from a traders perspective, I was using the OBD and having amazing results with it. Check out this OB at 14780 that caused 2 great reactions so far.

Both have a volume length pivot at 5. OBD and PAC

but PAC isn't picking up that OB at all

I understand it's different, but maybe OBD is more "correct"? the OBD has made me so much profit.

I guess the question is, why wouldn't PAC detect that one?

Good evening, how to see which times were marked in the price action concepts and oscillator matrix indicator signal when exporting to excel? I managed to do this with the signals overlays indicator, the columns that have -5, the bar color value that has -1 0 1 etc, it's the signal, with the other indicators I didn't see this logic, someone help me please?

So to be more specific, if the sma is below a certain point and the confluence is strong bullish and it prints a overbought bearish and then i want to use the color of the signals and overlay. So if these conditions are matching, i want to have the alert go off
