The most typical? That's situational, I wouldn't be able to tell you that 😅
For the TC, 'Up' would be for use in conjunction with another condition, for example the 'Signal' condition, you'd use it if there was a signal when the TC was bullish.
'Switch Up' is for the TC switching direction, though you can use built-ins for this if you just want this alert

Yep, switch up means it changes to bullish, and yes, up is for when the TC is already up, but you could be alerting for a signal while it is bullish

ok so using that exact picture i posted - the bar is overall green, but there's a bigger red bar than green bar. And the percentage says 15%. So how would you translate that to me if you had to explain in simpler terms. Would it mean: there's 15% MORE buyers than there are sellers ? Or 15% of the price action was more bullish than bearish ? and if thats the case, how would i interpret that red bar surpassing the green

thats whats confusing the heck out of me, how is the whole bar green but a longer red bar

the more significant the level, are you saying: " at THIS price area, dont worry too much, because that level of support/resistance was only bringing in 15% of the average volume ? or does significant mean: sdont base your trade on this spot. but if i see something with 70%, THIS IS A BIG RESISTANCE/SUPPORT

and if green/red is buying versus selling....then how come the charts move up every time there's more sellers than buyers ?

in this picture the price action meter says 41% which im assuming means, if the price drops here, there's a 41% chance of it running bullish?

that was very helpful. Now, based on that i have a cool recommendation. It would be awesome if we could rename certain labels like "Bos" etc with our own wording so if we have a bullish BoS. We can rename it ourselves to "Broke Higher High" or " Broke Lower Low" just for pure clarity sake for those of us like me that still eat crayons while trading. is that even doable ?

The percentage level is the index of how much important is that level…. If the percentage is low compared to other levels that block may be irrelevant (MAY BE) so wouldn’t be that much support resistence.
The green and red lines indicates how strong buyers and sellers are at that level. Paradoxically you have to read at the opposite. If the red line is longer than the green line means the buyers should be more powerful at that level so can act as a good support… if green line is longer then sellers should be more powerful at that level so support can be not that good.

yeah, i was just trying to think of plots that would cause the least amount of negative effects. removing one of the RZ would still allow the RZ to be utilized in general though.

I mean technically the RZ levels could be combined into one with S and R both being in a single RZ. RZ1 = S or R in the code instead of separate....

I just know some of the most profitable strategies we have fully depend on color of the candles, and right now we have no way to utilize that in our accessory indicators.

I have a full smart trail tap indicator that i wrote that utilizes all the details of the smart trail and the smart trail extremity to determine the best way to play it, and the only thing missing from being able to set up full accurate alerts or backtests is the inclusion of the candle color as a variable (as you only play certain colors at certain times)

• Reversal Zones - Withing Upper/Lower
• Also, on custom alerts, there are multiple drop down, so how does one create an alert with more than one condition, e.g. i want 2 alerts on one 'Entering Upper Zone' and the other one on 'Entering Lower Zone'.

You can use Any Alert for this which will alert on candle close, though there are also built in conditions that you can adjust the signal condition with, Once Per Bar for example, which you could use with TP/SL

When you set an alert, it depends entirely on what you want the alert to do, which is when it would trigger.
If you set a price alert for the price moving into either your tp or sl zone, you’ll be alerted when it reaches the zone and confirmed on candle close, if you chose that as your condition.

For the others you’ve mentioned, again, they’re alert dependent, based on what you want the alert for, whether it be a price alert or just the event happening, such as an exit signal appearing on the chart.

So I have a question regarding an alert price action concepts with Order Blocks and having Breaker Blocks turned on also. My question is, if I have breaker blocks turned ON, and I have the Mitigated alert turned on for the Order Blocks. I see that is gives me an alert when a breaker block is mitigated. But will it still give me an alert for when an Order Block has been mitigated (basically changed in th a breaker block)?

if "Show Breakers" is disabled the mitigation alert will only alert when the order block is mitigated. If enabled it will alert when the breaker block is disabled, the breaker block creation would be equivalent to order block mitigation when "Show Breakers" is disabled. I hope this helps

this would be up to your judgement, it totally depends on the trends you want to trade, longer term length would catch longer term trends. Try by using large increments/decreaments at first (from 10 to 20 or 30) for example, once you get indications that you like you might start using smaller increments/decrements to filter out whypsaw trades eventually

Its for external reference. It allows you to use the external source to reference if candles are bullish or bearish. If you expand the section shown in the image below you will see the bar color option. You can also reference it from any of the other preminum indicators.

TradingView MTF behaviour can change if you are on an higher TF and are looking for the OB on a lower TF.
This is normal, it's best to look for orderblock on a timeframe that is higher than the one of your chart, I'd recommend going on the timeframe where you want your OB to appear - OBs can be alerted for, there are built in conditions for creation and mitigation etc.

I have traded for a few years but havent tried auto trading. I have a broker that is connected to tradingview but I would try it on tradingview paper trade first. I just dont know luxalgo has a simple way of doing so and im just missing it

Here's a suggestion when they are making the Breaker Block Alerts for the Price Action Concepts indicator. Breaker Block Alerts should be exactly how the Order Block alerts function. Especially important is knowing when a Breaker Block is created bullish or bearish. And then when a Breaker Block is entered. I know you said you guys were working on alerts for Breaker Blocks. Do you perhaps have a timeline on when these will be ready for the Price Action Concepts version?

In your opinion when analyzing the Matrix we should give more “importance” to the trend of the Money flow or the trend of the hyper wave ? For example we know that when the oscillator rise from the bullish turning point and the bullish money flow is increasing is good entry sign. But what to do when being already in the trade I notice there is a increasing bullish money flow and a bearish turning point just showed up in the overbought area? Better exit or stay in the trade?

youre missing the point. the criteria is not accurate.

I took the above criteria it says it uses and wrote my own indicator based on the given criteria:
white = strong up
lime = weak up
purple = strong up
red = weak up

this is based on the given criteria in the documentation:
When both the Hyper Wave and Money Flow oscillators are indicating an uptrend the upper zone is colored with a darker green. If only one of the oscillator is indicating an uptrend then the confluence zone will have a brighter green. (my own colors though)

And still, if you have a dark background, and when both are in opposite direction, it will be darker shade.

You could use other conditions, but it’s better 99% of the time to use once per bar close, as signals etc. are confirmed on bar close - any other condition and you risk losing a signal

I beleive once you create an alert with your custom settings. You can then reset the indicator and use new custom settings to create another alert. I believe each alert holds their own custom conditions once its saved. But you'll have to try to confirm

Just for giggles, you might try refreshing trading view and / or deleting the indicator, then putting it back on again. And, you might try zooming in and out on a couple different time frames as well as playing with the sensitivity. That's all I've got.

Hey, so I created alert for order blocks on price action indicator and the problem I’m having is that the TradingView app notifies me about the order blocks early in the morning from around 9:30 to 12:00 but after that time I don’t get notifications from TradingView and I can’t figure out why because I’ve also enabled to where it would still give me notifications even if I’m using the app but it doesn’t notify me after few hours when the market opens? Could someone please tell me how can I fix this? Btw I’m on the free version of TradingView but I don’t think that’s the issue

Once price breaks through a order block. There is often still liquidity resting in those areas where price could still retest. So once a block is broken the level is still highlighted at lower transparency with the breaker block feature

Can confirm as well the candle coloring thing is an actual issue. Had the issue as well when I first joined. It was not an issue with how they were layers either. adjusting the layers did not fix the issue. After a while i just stopped having the issue which makes me think it might be an issue on tradingviews end when users are first added to invite only scirpts.

This is very subjective to each of us personally and "just depends." But to help you in the right direction, This is Nifty on 1H chart with Signals and Overlays, Confirmation Simple, Auto Pilot Short Term, Trend Tracer and Trend Catcher, with HA candlesticks to better visualize the trend. You see how nice this is, easy right? LOL, Not really, but it can be safe, now you can drop down some TF's to what you like and use regular candle sticks for precise entries, and maybe use other LuxAlgo features like Smart Trail.....If you start to play around with the features that you like, you will ultimately create your own template and strategy...hope this helps. Also, the bottom indicator is my holy grail, that Lux kindly provided to us, the MATRIX.

I think the silver bullet in itself is simple enough to add to a 5m or 1m chart and just watch 10a-11a for the FVG trigger, and that's it. But I have not tested the Silver Bullet yet on Nifty, so I dont know how Nifty behaves on 15m and below, I assume slippage and fills will be an issue on Nifty? not sure

Pick a out time slot for Nifty because I dont think NY session will be effective for Nifty? and just mark the highs/lows and watch for the FVG, and then go. Thats it. So basically, learning how the Nifty behaves on a lower TF is paramount, and not so much the Silver Bullet indicator...in my opinion....

Ah. Thats interesting, I actually never thought about that. I dont think at the moment it's possible. Because one of those field does not allow you to input specific value. I think for that you would need a condition that says "Not equal"

Support can maybe confirm but I dont think so. Good idea tho. Definetly a great suggestion.

I don't think LUX support assist with trade executions. But personally I think you need to switch from limit order to market exection. To get filled at current market bid and ask prices. Again this is just my recommendation. I am not apart of support. I dont think lux assist with this.

A orderblock is drawn everytime there is a market structure shift. On the daily timeframe there is not a market structure shift from that high so the PAC cannot draw one there.. Also note that if "Hide overlap" is enabled it will not show clusters of orderblocks it will only show the more significant one.

Hello Team, I have noticed the discrepancy in the order block metric in Desktop View and Mobile view. When I am checking the chart on the desktop, the Order Block size shows the difference: the value is in thousand but in mobile view it is in Million. I am not sure if it is the default behavior or there is any delay or issue in the indicator while plotting the data.

Also, all the Order Block Indicator shoes different Block Level. Smart Money Concept, Order Blocks, And Price Action Indicator all three are showing some difference.

Are you allowing TradingView to send you alerts on your phone? Alert conditions are a TV feature, you’ll need to make sure you’ve configured the alert to send you a text or email etc.
