If you only set an alert on the 1m, that’s what you’ll get the alert for.
Any settings changed after setting the alert will invalidate it also

I thought Binance is now integrated with TV now, so you can manually trade direct on TV charts, with no other services or 3rd party with webhooks etc? Just like Oanda I use, to trade direct on my charts

But if you want to automate your trade from TV to Binance, then this is above my pay scale, LOL, as I am not an expert at alerts or automation.....you would have to wait for Lux support to help you here......

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has had a problem where indicators suddenly start acting like they are repainting alerts. I noticed that my LA Oscillators Premium suddenly starting false firing alerts on a once per bar close alert. I would look at the chart and see that the alert should not have fired. It's firing on every single bar. I also notice the problem on the PSAR by Everget, so I don't think it's a problem with LA or Everget specifically. It seems like it's my TV account has gone haywire for some reason. I have deleted all of my alerts and logged out/in on all devices. This is happening on multiple TF from 1 minute to 1 hour and on many crypto coins. I normally use once per bar close so I should be getting a confirmed alert. I also have the problem on some random indicators that I pulled up for testing. Any ideas? Thanks!

To be honest, market structures such as CHoCH are not entry signals. They are visual interpretations of price structure. But in your chart, price did go in the direction of that CHoCH as you mentioned “little pump.” If your TP was within that little pump, then that CHoCH entry was a successful entry. So in reality, price could go a “little pump” in the direction of a CHoCH or can go a “big pump.”

Very subjective…

It’s how you interpret market structure…and act upon it.

On a higher TF, there might have been no CHoCH in that direction….and you traded against the higher TF trend.

That CHoCH is also an internal structure, what does the current swing structure dictate?

Zoom out

Where was price located? Premium or Discount area on the higher TF?

Also, there was a detected pattern descending triangle…..

We can look into this if this doesn’t work, though there shouldn’t be an issue with this, try remaking the alert and see if it persists.
If you want just ‘turn strong’ alerts, you can use the built in ‘Any Confirmation’ series of alerts

Too bad, could be a good addition. The Internal Market Structure is visible across the chart and with this it is no longer internal. Disable options in the Swing settings has little effect because it is over a long time frame and thus less present. Interal Market Structure should just be visible for a small period of time so the focus is better. It also has no value on Internal Structure to see in the past because the Swing Market Structure is used there.

I have switched off the 'color candles' option in PAC as well as the 'Bar color' option in the stylle tab of PAC.

When you click on an alert it just opens the last chart settings from what I have seen. this is just how TV does it, not really anything with Lux. I usually duplicate the base layout I like and create many different layouts(one per symbol) to keep the settings I want.

But you can set Trend Catcher alert either ´custom alert´ or then in the normal alert place. Anyway sorry if that is confusing just something I noticed

No, the up and down alerts are mainly for use in conjunction with signals, so if you wanted a buy or sell signal for example when the TC was up or down you’d use up or down.

Ahh Ok Thanks, I don't think I explained my self properly but from the testing I did when I selected Trend Catcher Up or Down respectively from this menu in the screen shot, not the custom alert but the alert from the drop down menu It works as a crossing the same as Switch up and Switch down works in the Custom alerts. I just tested it again on the 1 minute chart before posting this.

It had me confused for a long time as I think the wording in drop down menu should be Trend Catcher Switch up/down

that's kinda inefficient from a user standpoint that Lux has eliminated the ability to show both at once - meaning that every time i want to see a swing OB vs internal OB i'd have to continually switch the number vs before in 1.2.4 or previous versions I could differentiate between the two and never had to consistently change the length

That was indeed taken into account, however showing both drastically increased computation time, which can lead to errors, it also made the aspect of making breaker blocks very challenging. The length setting can lead to a greater amount of usability as well, you can eventually use two instances of the indicator 🙂

I hear you and did agree with you a few minutes ago that I liked the swing and internal OB's on same chart, BUT, the more I think about it, I use multi TF's charts anyway, I have 1H and 15m charts all the time, so I do see the swing OB's on my higher TF and internals OB's on my lower TF anyway.......so in the end, this update cleaned up my lower TF chart, it didnt clutter it, because I have the swing OB info on my higher TF anyway

In this example, the OB at 0.10650 level appears on 15m TF chart when setting OB = 4H TF and the same OB does not appear on the 3m TF in spite having the setting OB = 4H TF. I see an issue with the OB here..Same OB TF setting on same coin, only difference is the chart TF. The chart TF should not be ideally impacting the OB appearance. The OB appears even on 1H chart at 0.10650 level.

HA will not provide precise levels, such as OB's, FVG's, highs and lows, fractals etc. Might be similar in some instances, but the levels on HA bars are not precise. HA in itself is a trend indicator that overlays on the traditional candlestick bar. Traditional candlesticks provides exact and precise levels, fractal, wicks...which in turn, provides very accurate OB, FVG levels, etc etc

@deep dock I'm back with my results of the automated trading with the following using Signals & Overlays 6.0.2: Any bullish/bearish conf, Trend Catcher UP/DOWN, Trend Strength > 20% and Ultimate MACD > or < 0. I set it to trigger on bar close in the Alerts window. What I see is even if I set it to "Once per bar", I still see price differences between buy/sell and vice versa. Right now, I see I'm sitting on a loss of $95 is because by the time the candle closes, the price has gone down from the price it got filled for a buy and the reverse for sell. How can I buy/sell immediately on the alert? Manually, I can do a market order immediately after I see the signal and confirmations positive. Should I go for "once per minute"? Please help me understand.

Another instance of OB displacement, similar to the one pointed previously. The OB that was present at levels 0.10243 & 0.09945 on 15m TF chart, but when chart switched to 4H TF chart all the OB moved to another levels even when the OB settings were unchanged. OB settings TF=15m (Constant on both 15m TF & 4H TF chart)

I've shared two instances in two days, therefore please shed some light into this. This creates ambiguity while working with the indicator.

It can eventually be caused by the hide overlap setting, or directly caused from the method used to retrieve htf data, which is fairly complex.

Binary Options is a tough asset type to trade honestly, so tough, that it is actually banned in some major markets. BUT, having traded binaries myself back in the day, these expiration times are literally seconds and a few minutes away, unlike traditional charting strategy that utilized TF's of hours or 5m, 15m etc. These binaries are very fast paced. So in my opinion, what you could do is dial your settings very low, make the indicator very sensitive, play around with the settings and use lower values so that the indicators you are using can interpret these binary price movements for expirations of seconds away, to give you a better visual interpretation.....best of luck, these are tough, but from what I remember, it is fun and exhilarating. But I can honestly say, I got my butt kicked by binaries....

Yes there is. It's in PAC settings. Click the box, then go to alert management and select the LuxAlgo PAC as the alert and leave it "alert". That should work anyway, haven't tried PAC alerts myself, only signals and it's worked fine.

For BTC for example, if I set the pattern at 5 on a daily timeframe, it finds no pattern but when set at 10 it finds ASC BW

We're always looking to improve, in this case the custom alert creator, though sometimes we can be limited on what we can create - for exit alerts you could always just use any alert (), though you won't be able to refine the alert conditions as much as the custom creator

Can you guys update the backtesting indicator so when an alert triggers and you go to the alert log and hit asset for the trigger you will get the same identical settings on the chart that you chose for the strategy? Question: With the new breaker blocks. Is an Orange zone representing a bearish breaker block and a blue zone representing a bullish Breaker Block?

i ask because it seems based of what i have been reading about breaker blocks that colors should be reversed. a bearish breaker block is when a bullish order block is broken and then acts as a resistance.

and in the picture attached it looks like the blue bar meets the criteria for a bearish breaker block. I.E it broke a "support order block" and price is now expected to return to the order block and then reject of it

Previous day from Tuesday is a Monday.

Here is my NQ 3m chart, but with other features turned on. Now with the other Signals/Overlays features turned on, you can see why the algorithm confirms its criteria for these signals to print. Notice Tracer, catcher and Smart Trail. It is virtually impossible to print a signal on the exact trend change pivot candle at candle closing, it needs a few bars to confirm a shift change to trigger an alert signal. And you are also on a very small timeframe to begin with, on a futures asset that is very volatile.....

Lux support may have a more official reasoning, so we will wait for them to chime in, but this is what I think is happening...

And both your signals that are circled are pretty good, kept you on the right side of the trade before the indicators flipped, you either got small win or worse case, break even on those two signals
