its very hard to match autopilot with fixed settings or filters, both are very different, I could only recommend using high sensitivity settings

The trend catcher of version 6.0 is way slower than 5.3(5-6 bars slower) which is quite frustrating as i couldnt get the same Risk to reward ratio as before, is there any chance u guys can add older version’s trend catcher as a choice to choose?

I understand slower signal does lead to less false signal but i really prefer the older version’s sensitivity

adding older versions of features within the legacy toolkit is a possibility, but I would encourage further testing with the new features versions, maybe that in certain scenario the older version can return more appropriate results, but we tested thoroughly and found the new version slightly less "hieratic"

It's not timeframe related, short term etc. determines how sensitive the algorithm will be to short, medium, or longer term variations.
So short term autopilot will make the signal algorithm sensitive to small variations in market conditions

Seems with new version of Price Action Concepts that pattern detection will only show the name of the detected pattern if Structures MTF Scanner Checkbox is selected. If it is not selected then it will show the pattern on the chart, but does not indicate the pattern name detected. Also, it will no longer display on hover the description of the detected pattern. That ws my point...i dont want the color candles and even with none selected, and the box unchecked in the other section; it still shows the colors if i set a preset/filter. the old version did NOT.

so the old version allowed me to choose the scalper setting or whatever and select "NONE" for candle colors. Also in the other setting section you can even deselect the bar colors. I would like to use the settings without the bar colors. So that isnt allowed anymore or makes it pointless? I dont understand why with the new update i have to use the color setting when the there is obvious checkmark of "NONE" and can even uncheck a box in another setting ot not include bar colors....therefore keep my own bar colors from my chart or a different indicator?

My old chart that i didnt update the indicator yet literally allows it...and doesnt make me use the candle coloring. But since the name changed and update happen, i cant use settings without changing my bar colors? is that what we are saying? even selecting "none" and also unchecking the bar color box?

Then instead of selecting a predefined strategy, just select none, and create and manually duplicate it, and then select none for candle colors. Its a simple strategy to manually duplicate. Just turn on/off the features that are being used in the pre-defined strategy

Not possible, the update has been pushed out, and if you didnt save your template or layout, then not possible. Just use the V6 and duplicate your strat, might even be better.

If you are referring to "Exit Buy" and "Exit Sell" conditions it is triggering alerts on our end, settings might have been changed after having created the alert. I would recommend recreating the alert, when the strategy generates an exit and you are not alerted please let us know alongside a screenshot.

Ive re-created the alerts at least a dozen times. Entry and exists work consistently if a reversal signal is triggered. When a reversal is triggered, i get 2 alerts (one to close the existing position and one to open the reversed position. This is working fine. However, if an exit signal is triggered without a reversal (such as from a TP), the signal paints but DOES NOT trigger an alert. If you recreate the settings i've posted you can test this for yourself.

you can't change the actual colors i don't think, however, we recommend going into Chart Settings on TradingView & disabling "Borders" on your candles

that will help u see the candle coloring better in all cases 🙂

I have a question regarding the alert settings: if the condition is "any alert() function call," do I need to click the desired inputs function call or will the default alert settings notify me of any confirmation or exit because my signal mode has been selected as confirmation and exit?
Additionally, in the "any alert() function call conditions" section, I noticed duplicate bullish+ and bearish+ conditions. Shouldn't these be listed as bullish, bearish, bullish+, and bearish+?

Hi @ripe void, welcome 🙂
When using any alert (), you can select the conditions you'd like to be notified for in the indicator settings, then choose Any Alert () function call when making the alert.
Alternatively, if you just want single alerts, there are built in conditions for this.
The two bullish and bearish are for different signal modes, one being for confirmation and the other for contrarian, the '+' representing Strong etc.

After testing lux algo 6.0 performance, I have found the auto pilot performance is NOT good.
Over at period of almost two years 5.3 would make 100.000 dollars to 2,2 million. 6.0 turns 100.000 into 63.000.

Is there a way to keep 5.3 other than not removing it from charts?

Unfortunately if you've already upgraded, you can't revert back, you will have needed a layout with 5.3 saved

Sorry to hear this @daring wind, you should have been replied to.
Alerts on TV can be a bit tricky when it comes to that, any change you make to an alert on a layout will render it useless, requiring you to remake the alert.
I'd suggest remaking them on each layout, I get it can be tedious

Hi Logan, this isn't the issue I am having. I dont need to change any alerts. The issue is that the first LuxAlgo alert I created works fine - no problems. If I have another Layout that using the indicator and add a brand new alert to this layout, the alert never triggers

I am currently attempting to create a bot using Cornix and LuxAlgo Signals & Overlay, specifically utilizing the Reversal Zones feature. My plan is to trigger a buy when the candle wick enters the green (lower reversal zone) and a sell when it touches the red zone.
My question is whether the Reversal Zone (Custom alert creator) alone can serve as a trigger to execute the buy and sell using Cornix integration, or if I need to combine it with an attribute from the Signals columns such as Any Bullish/Bearish Confirmation. Additionally, I am curious about the difference between "Within Upper Zone" and "Entering Upper Zone."
