Far as I can tell, the Expiration setting (Ablauf) you currently have on your alert is Unlimited, meaning no expiry. You can also choose for your alert to expire by a certain date.

That basically means the alert will be alive until expiration, even if it gets hit once, twice or how many times.

So if a trade goes into a supply zone, the alert is activated and I get a notification and then the trade leaves the supply zone and the market turns and goes to a demand zone and then reaches another zone, then the alert is still active?

Alerts are saved with the indicators current settings. Changing them will NOT change your alert settings automatically.

Hello. I would like to comment that I fixed the problem that did not allow to create alerts in Lux Algo. I just created a new layout and everything worked. Before I tried deleting the indicator, restarting the computer and tradingview, but none of that worked. As a final comment, for me, the best settings are 10 and 3 minutes with Autopilot in Short Term.

3. I've tried trading based off the buy and Take Profit: "x" but the sell alert always comes in late, usually causing for a decrease. any better way of finding sell points?

It's the auto scaling chart setting which pancakes the chart, probably because trading view tries to fit all selected indicators to fit the view. What you can do is minimize the number of order blocks selected from 5 to a smaller number, say 3, and select internal and uncheck swing.

for the specific item that you need, you can try writing a quick pinescript that plots current price and use that as your second indicator in your alert condition.

Yes I do, and since your current alert does not allow you to get the placeholders written as is, then you would have to rewrite the alert so that Price Action will be your first dropdown and not your second.

Price action “eql top” cannot cross price. It’s a static value.

You can use greater/less than in that scenario: i.e. price action eql top > current price. Will try this. My only issue is, it will always trigger non stop and will mess with the bot. I could use “only once”, but then I need to restart the alert everytime. “Once per bar” is my preferred. Once per bar close might be too late

Yeah, unfortunately you would have to determine what you can use given the limitations in Trading View 😦 at least now you know you can access the plot elements provided it is the first indicator selected in your alerts conditions. Just have to figure out how to work with that.

Guys, why some people trade QQQ options whats difference with SPY ? I been trading Spy all the time but want to see whats different

SPYs top 10 holdings are apple, msft, google, amazon, berkshire, j&j, p&g and nvidia which those top 10 holdings make up 28% of its total asset weight.

QQQs top 10 holdings are apple, msft, google, amazon, tesla, nividia, paypal and adobe which those 10 make up 56% of its total asset weight.

So comparatively its safe to say QQQ is easily swayed by its top 10 holdings while SPY isnt necessarily. Which accounts for why QQQ will usually move more in one day than SPY.

I don't trade either so I cannot say, but you can compare the average daily ranges, the volatility, etc, of each and see how much they differ. Your trading style would also dictate which one you will be more comfortable with. You should be able to use the same QQQ strat on SPY, you can backtest and see.
