I read through the documentation. The green and red for Trend Catcher does not mean it is Up or Down. It needs to be actually trending, but I do not know the values that qualify for Up or Down.

I also suggest to make sure you create a new alert after changing any values on the Lux Algo strategy.

hello, does anyone else have issues with alerts from TV for backtesting tool? mine sent a take profit signal when it should have sent open short position, and then 30 min later it send a sell signal which does not appear anywhere in backtesting tool, but alert was created. so the outcome is that the backtest tool shows it closed a position already with profit, but actually in reality the first TP signal was ignored because no position was open, while the sell signal opened a sell position which never closed @feral lava

Attach also screenshots, 4alerts were triggered. First 3 were take profit and last one to open a sell position. But actully first alert should have been sell alert and second one TP alert. Any idea what is wrong? As you see in my messages the Sell entry message starts with “8ccb” and it should have been triggered at 05:51, but instead the message with “a6d3” was triggered which is a TP for short orders. And additionally the 3rd message with “fd30” is a TP for long orders which makes no sense to appear. The graph clearly shows just one short position which was closed

hello, but when you create the alert it is using the settings from luxalgo at the time of creation. So after that it would not matter if i am changing the settings because the alert was already created. Right?

yes, but that means that if you receive an alert while you changed settings after initially creating it then the script using the new settings will not really reflect the script at the time the alert was created

First time i taugth i had some wrong settings in the indicator, so then i removed the alert and added it again anfter reviewing again all settings. But now it happened the second time when i was 100% sure i had correct settings when setting the alert, and i`m now concerned that it could open some trade and not close it based on the settings which could lead to big drawdown
