without going into too much details, the trend catcher will be more reactive the longer a preceding trend last, in th above case a downtrend was detected by the catcher, and afterward reversed into an uptrend, now that price reached the catcher level it should start becoming more reactive 🙂 Why is it happening on HA? because of the differences with regular closing prices.

it is up to you, considering you're looking to get a small amount of ticks; i would consider using shorter term frequency on autopilot maybe, if not -- optibot is always a good bet as it's the most well backtested parameters you can get

I dont know, to be honest i tried it once only. It looks good when you look at what the algo did in the past, live trading with it is another story. Specially since you need to start your trade as soon as the buy signal appear. If youre too late, you might get to the point where you need start selling again.

Specially if youre on forex, where the buy/sell position only start 1 to 2 pips above the buy/sell price, i think those predictions are useless.

I went with a different strategy to trade and actually took a break now.

or you could increase sensitivity to something around 30-60 range to get more delayed but only Strong signals

You added some.presets that are not useful cause they give inaccurate signals which we need to disable and go back to manually change the sensitivity

We think a scalper may enjoy Contrarian Signals; reversal zones and contrarian candle coloring

Therefore the scalper preset may load these

The word "accurate" makes sense when talking about a strategy

If I asked you: How accurate is an RSI? You'd say "well it depends how you use it"

Try using the lux squeeze index it helps filter out low volatility signals

The issue is using signals as entries or using them literally.
You will miss good opportunities in trading. The important thing is that you're also reducing bad trades.

After using lux algo for a couple of weeks now, I have come to the conclusion that your best feature are your premium oscillators. They truly give an edge as compared to the normal ones be it stochastic, macd or rsi. Especially the lux rsi catches divergences much faster than the normal rsi. The new smart money features be it the swing structures or the order blocks which basically is a good representation of the demand/supply zones or breakout zones, they all are really cool as and helps me in the form of additional confirmation to my TA. Very helpful indeed. What I found the most confusing or delayed are the buy and sell signals and I dont know what the algorithm is with it but the responses are far away from the area of value or trading zones. Also, in some cases it appears when most of the move has already happened. Trading on those signals doesnt give good Risk to Reward ratio. This is my only negative feedback which the developers can improve upon them to make them more responsive just like your oscillators. Cheers!

Have yall ever released any backtesting stats for something higher time frame like Daily enters and exits on something as simple as the buy/sell indicators? I know typically those are not followed blindly, but I was looking manually at the Lux Algo compared to a standard 8/21 strategy, which can be a popular strategy compared to HODL of btc and eth, and it appeared like even if you just let it run automatically entering on the Buy or strong buy tags and exiting on any sell tag it would actually do better than the 8/21 strategy. I would love to know what kinda numbers it would have had for the past few years if you just went in and out based on the buy or sell alerts at the Daily timeframe.
