Ride the trend, as long the pullback are still within your RR, there isnt a reason to exit a long position. Just try to scale out a position to lower your risk when youre in profit.

no. i removed all the indicators and went back and reloaded them. then started setting them up again playing with various combinations.

i just removed SR&Patterns Premimum and re-added it to my chart again just now. selected breakout zones and I get the same thing

agility is a setting that controls how sensitive the confirmation signal algorithm is to ranging/flat markets 🙂 It range between 0 and 100, with 100 making it not sensitive, this produces less signals 🙂

Hey Lux Algo's Admin team, you beautiful creatures... is the Visible Range Mean Deviation Histogram similar to how the Visable Range Volume Profile indicator operates?

I read about it on TradingView and I wasn't 100% sure

both are relatively different but share things in common, one being that they operate using visible range data, and another one being that they accumulate data when price fall within intervals, however a volume profile shows the accumulated volume within each interval, while the VRMDH count the number of times prices fall within an histogram, finally the intervals are built differently.

It's a classic issue of the ranging market. Since these signals are trend following you'd need to use a filter of some sort

For example look at the trend strength on the dashboard to see market direction

recommend reading through #🧠core-lessons - it will help here a lot 🙂

it's impossible to get better settings than optibot manually unless it's just a preference thing for making the signals fit your style

optibot will update daily for some timeframes but still can generally apply for more historical data.

if you're looking to manually backtest over more history & don't prefer to update w/ optibot for daily use, i suggest using a different method

probably manual itself to your preference or autopilot would be best in this case

A signal is confirmed only once the candle is closed. Meaning a signal could appear on your chart but is not confirmed until that candle is closed and the next candle has started.

Our automated Discord bots will never notify you on any signal until the candle has closed and confirmed it. If you're adding alerts for Lux signals in TradingView - make sure to select "Once per bar close".

For the alerts: do i need to set it up again after every time i change the sensitivity? I saw in the video's that the Alert is set for the current sens, so you need to remake the alerts every time you change your sens and agility.

the tp/sl are based on the signals, and continuously readjust depending on whether price hit one of them, tp/sl will never be inverted except if a new signal appear, you can adjust the tp/sl distance from the advanced settings 🙂

Once I see those signals I will attempt to filter them down using the other filtered criteria. Alert example any buy, trend catcher green, etc.. Basically how do I set up the filters and see them on my chart then create an alert and the alert would be based on multiple criteria ...

Yes, add alert for “Trend Catcher Up” will give you a signal when it turns green “Trend Catcher Down” for red… and exact same for the “Trend Tracer Up for Green / Down Red
