it's easy to get overwhelmed with that kind of strategy. If you see from the dashboard that the volatility is low, just put a box on the chart where the price is ranging and short when it hits the top and long when it hits the bottom. When volatility increases, continue with the 77% strategy

Btw im using pepperstone a broker which i can use tradingview to directly execute trade on (so i can setup USD risk/% account risk i'm willing to take, and then based on ATR to set my SL, and tradingview automatically calculates the lot size for me).

I only then use ctrader for their advance protection function to "move my stoploss to B/E after moving X pips" and partial TPs or trailing SL if I wish

I checked the magic keys and apparently it can do something like that but one thing i dont like is, i have to switch back and forth to tradingview chart and then ctrader platform to execute trade? What do you reckon?

u know why i like tracer, cuz it quickly and easily tells me if we're in up or downtrend, not that its hard to determine! with the tracer, i feel like people will start reading it the wrong way especially when thinking if its an uptrend! but i backtested, this is basically the strat

it also doesnt get affected by noise easily

this is my modified version of it - u just need to wait for setup to go in, patience!

more confluence, more assurance, can go in a bit heavier too

u could also do the 50 ema and 200 ema, when 50 is above 200, u go for longs and vice versa

i started using these as confluence too with the trend catcher... when 50 is above 200, and catcher green, ill wait for MACD bull and go long... can 90% of the time guarantee a win

not to forget, i have a step 1 in my strat which is a 20 min or so deep TA for the day so i dont get faked out or something and also to set the tone... this only improves the strat 10-fold imo

best thing you can do for yourself is to have few strategies, backtest them AT LEAST 50 times with tradingviews replay function and see what the win rate. Then if youre confortable with the strategy and the win rate, start trading with it without emotions and without hesitating. You know what the win rate is so STICK WITH THE PLAN!

there will be losses but you know that because you've backtested the strategy

so ditch the emotions and trade like a robot

first of all you need to help yourself, mate. from what I see above that's leverage trading. and one that suggests you really don't know when to stop. also, might also suggest that your entries are wrong most of the time

and that just cannot be. you can have successful trades only by listening to what our experienced traders are suggesting on the crypto-chat
