one of my favorite set ups. Strong signal on TSLA for 5 minute chart, with 1 minute chart in reversal zone. Many times you can do the opposite of the 5 min. strong signal. I recommend if you do you be quick or use trailing profit stop

another example that shows why if you do this you need to be quick or use trailing profit stop

the signal to get out is rejection of the 5 minute trend tracer which was the top of the strong sell signal

Due to its predictive nature, I am a little worried about using it. In fact, I may just turn it off as it seems to be adding unnecessary noise atm..

Trade only strong signals where MTF is all the same. on the 5m timeframe, buy if bulls control more than 55%, it’s above VWAP, it’s trending and oscillator matches current momentum. Sell if bulls control less than 45%, it’s below VWAP, it’s trending down (red candles) and oscillator matches momentum.

I’ve had 90% accuracy using this.

You're pretty much golden if you buy and bulls control above 65%, and hold as long as it doesn't drop below 45% and hasn't gone below VWAP. It has to meet ALL conditions.

Sometimes stocks like ROKU today which hangs out at around the 400-405 level, dropped to VWAP but never CLOSED below on the 5m, that's a good sign it's going to rebound specially if bull control picks up and oscillator hints at reversal.

I had to ask myself what Lux control meant and Gecko said it’s how much of the action is controlled by the bulls. I think it’s calculated as a ratio of trades that are buys vs trades that are sales and gives you a number based on that. The way I see it and Gecko can correct me if I’m wrong, for every 100 transactions, if bulls control is 65% then 65/100 are buys.

Yes I was also using autopilot in the previous version and kept autopilot on for 4.0 so maybe that's why the change. It seems like 4.0 has more purple candles as well showing up but I guess we'll get used to it in a little while 🙂

But yep; I'm 4.0 signals of the confirmation type and candle colouring was not changed so you shouldn't see any variation between 3.10 and 4

If it's in an uptrend, I wouldn't be selling-only buying. Both of the trend lines are green so I would ignore any sells.

but i think playing with sensitivity helps to prevent this a lot

I often like to fade the signal especially if it is a strong signal, but only on lower timeframes

and I scalp so I'm out quickly as often the strong signal happens, the move reverses a bit, then resumes course

Totally understandable, you may find just using the default, auto-pilot, or slightly higher settings better for you in that case since it will allow you to focus less on the optimization, and more on finding entries/exits

It’s also good to keep in mind, signals are best used as trend confirmations - you will likely find much better entries by using features like reversal zones, or just basic support/resistance 🙂
