For those looking for some Backtesting ideas, here is the DEFAULT settings for the Signals & Overlays Backtester on gold XAU.
All I changed is to backtest for "entire history." This is just using the default entries/exits of the signal triggers.
I performed this exact Backtest back in December 2025 as well, have a look here #🧬ai-chat message , with other SIMPLE Backtesting settings I have done back in December 2025. This still applies to today, keep it simple, and this is a start. Now you can start to optimize a few data metrics to further improve on these performances. Hope this helps with your "Backtesters."

Just getting used to create a strategy on quant. Btw totally fun. The question is and I don’t know what I have done wrong. In quant analysis it tells my strategy have a winrate on 66 %
Good enough. I Copied the codes to TW and then it tells my some entire different things like my winrate is only 15% ?
I have tried changing the timeframe but only got I worse. Any idea why quant and TW show different results and who shall I trust 😅? Have a nice weekend all

Ahh I see, maybe I got it all wrong. As I remember it I used ai backtesting to create a strategy, then take it to quant for the deep dive to get a better understanding of what was created. After that copied the code to TW. I also tried making one on quant but still same bad results.

honestly this is my first time trading it in a while. I was on a bit of a losing stretch for a while in life and in trading lol. Back at it though I have a win streak under my belt again so it feels like the wind is in my sails a bit more. I realized that when I wake up on the right side of the bed my chances of trading successfully are so much higher. Literally vibes based trading. I stepped away from the 1 minute for the most part went all the way up to the 15 and am trying to be much less stressed out about every position.

thats not possible, however Quant can create strategies and indicators so you could try utilising Quant to turn the indicator into a strategy to be able to test on the strategy tester within TradingView

this is just the "mean" for current price action for any asset, that is all the vwap is, but for reaction to this vwap on different symbols, will certainly needs to be backtested and see how well a symbol respects to your vwap set-ups

Ok so anything you trade should react to the vwaps. You just have to figure out how the different assets and symbols react to the vwaps

I personally like EMA/SMA vs vwap myself, but other traders swear by it.

Hey, I do have the ultimate plan and am amazed by the AI Backtesting feature. However, when I try to replicate the strategy to TradingView and I do follow the exact steps described, the performance often times differs immensely from the one shown in LuxAlgo. Why is that? And which platform can I best use to automate a strategy directly from LuxAlgo alerts to create bots (Wundertrading doesn’t accept LuxAlgo signals yet).

Hard to say here, could be a few reasons.
Might be that the strategies are utilizing LUCID connectors and these need to be set properly.
Also, the symbols you are using, should be matched up properly with the ones that the AI is using, including the exchange data feed.
But there will always be slight differences:

I am building a custom automated trading strategy based off of the signals and overlays indicator but I cant for the life of me figure out which data point shows when a signal is a 1 2 3 or 4 from the drop down to track, as my strategy I want it to trade only when number 3 signals come up, anyone able to help me with figuring this out? sadly none of the documents on luxalgo website cover what I need to do and none of the videos or support docs in the discord do either, ive spent a lot of time digging into it and even creating custom pinescript code to try and read the variables behind luxalgo to see if can see if any are showing when a 1,2,3 or 4 signal pop, nothing. Have had AI scan luxalgos documents to try and see if i missed it, AI says you guys dont cover it as well, have tried to just work with claude code on it, it cant figure it out either, ive exhausted all routes, doesnt seem you guys show ML classifier data for some reason, it would be a easy drop down option like all the other alert calls but isnt a option

Howdy! Are you saying you developed your winning strategy off of luxalgo indicators + conditions? Just curious if its based off of market structure or drawings? The reason I ask is because I trade off of my own interpretation of market structure and also wanted to create a trading bot. Alas, LuxAlgo was not able to handle my prompts - in my opinion bc it is too abstract and not pulling from the library/tool kit. Also, I can barely get luxalgo to build what I want or take instructions, yet I have no issue using other AI agents...mentoring is definitely subpar on this platform from my experiences of Q and A. No offense to anyone, nor said out of spite, but that is my honest experience.

Just burned 10k token in one go all for quant to 'break' the indicator and spit out a quarter of it in an attempt to make an revision? Seriously. That was off a reup too, just to try and finish this one last little detail that I have been trying to get it fix for literally 10 hrs. Multiple chats. It's just as nimb-witted as it is genius. Guess that would make it a Savant.
