I recently started using Lux S&O strategy to automate orders. I use "any bullish signal" to trigger buy orders and vice versa..I noticed that today for MU, it kept on placing buy orders one after the other, which is good but i didnt expect it. Is there more info available about how multiple buy order signals work and how it unwinds them during selling ?

I also see that pyramiding is off and there is only one signal on the chart for buy but in webhooks, I see multiple buy orders

There really isnt a "best" timeframe, but more of optimizing to your trading style.
But lower timeframes tend to be much noisier when compared to highr timeframes.

With just indicators, no. There is more to trading then just follow indicators. You need to be able to read charts, multi timeframe is best, understand how the market works and learn by watching

Indicators are useful tools to complement your research. Learn price action as a candle cant lie.

My advice, follow just a couple of major crosses until you know how they move and when they are manipulated . There is no quick fix to be profitable consistantly.

Hey guys I've got an indicator that generates in 3 years 100%+ ROI on the 5min, 600%+ on the 30mim etc.

Basiclly massive returns tested across multiple timeframes and asset classes. So you know robustness is solid.

Can anyone code the indicator so it's turnt to a strategy so we can check its profitability on the 1min timeframe?

Also my idea is, since the indicator performs better on higher time frames, we could use the higher timeframes as filters so that we open a trade in lower timeframes only when there's an active trade open on the same direction on the higher timeframes.

so after some reading, is this approach good?

1. find a strategy initially
2. connect it to Trader Post to send alerts to MT5 Demo account?

thats a good starting point once you've found.a strategy you like but you can also play around with the settings and further optimise the strategies yourself manually seeing what results it yields in TradingView before going onto the automation to mt5/binance on a demo too

Try not to be too specific at first and give it a lot of conditions you want the strategy to include, you can always dive deeper into that strategy later on. Try finding a base strategy first you like 🙂

I use to main oil for a little while . I traded oil for a solid 3 months almost exclusively. But with the way oil has been acting way too volatile for my taste

I just been dipping my toes in MCL and that's about it . If you want to trade full boat you need around 5 or 6k on tradeovate. Back in the day it was just about the same as Es ,Ym or nq . Only have to have about 1300 in margin

but MCL pays tho all you need is about three or four contracts.

Yeah , just stagger the orders dca . Keep those stop losses tight and if you lose you just get back on try one more time . And if it still wicks you out . Then take a break
