I've been holding back on a question for a couple of weeks though regarding alerts on TradingView, I don't seem to have Bullish Exit signal and Bearish Exit signal with S&O, only Exit.

Though I have seen on the documentation it does state Bullish Exit and Bearish Exit

For Price Action Concepts, what exactly does strong/weak high/low mean?

n the Community Streams, I often talk about the Premium/Discount Zones, or the Strong/Weak High/Lows, in the Price Action Concepts toolkit:

Premium/Discount Zones
Strong/Weak, High/Lows

Remember, these two anchor levels (H and L, premium and discount) are from the most recent swing points, so the metrics at these levels are from that structure, but of course price can still bust up or down.

But the further it busts up, we know sooner than later, this will come back down.

So these metrics gives us clues on how much further it can go. Its like how long do we want to hang onto the move, or do we really want to jump in now?, at the risk that the move could be over anytime soon. Just something to think about when you are entering or managing a current position.

I've just checked and {external1}>0 correctly highlights the divergence on its own.

Don't forget with steps it will wait for step one to be completed then ignore everything in between until step 2 is triggered. So looking at your alert script - it will wait till a bearish divergence is trigger (step 1) then highlight every bar where there is a bearish neo/catcher/smart trail (step 2)

don't forget step 1 could of occurred days prior to step 2. You could add invalidate options so if something happens in between step 1-2 it restarts the cycle

As you have the Ultimate plan, why not try your condition in the S&O backtester instead of the S&O toolkit and put your JSON alert in the long/short alert messages.

I cant understand in what cases pac repaints.

If i do step 1 step 2 step 3 ok
If i do fvg increased tf + ob increased tf, step 1 step 2 step 3 ok
If i do increased tf fvg or increased tf ob + SOMETHING as next step - im repainted 100%

multi TF on any indicator, for an alert or strategy is always a challenge, Always

automation and alert sequences with multi timeframe elements are always tough to accomplish, its just the way it plots and mitigates on a lower timeframe chart

Im not saying its impossible, but eventually, you will notice irregularities that dont conform to your sequences

I noticed simple strategy in Ai chat. New fvg enter on reversals. On gbp/JPY. So when you switch tf to 3 or 1 min its shows good result, not good enough to cover fees but im interested if there is a way to improve

Have a question.

I intend to trade Eth and BTC but facing a little problem here. Here's what I am doing.

Trading system: Been using the PAC, S&O and OM to follow your system of same colour of trend catcher, neo cloud and candle colouring to enter. Exit as soon as trend catcher changes colour.

Checking 15M, 30m and 4H (for bias). Intend to trade on 30 since haven't been able to manage 15M in the past.

While I saw entries for 30M in the last two days but didnt take them for two reasons

1. Even when all three colours matched as per the trading system, both 15M and 30M had two very large order blocks right below.

2. All the three requirements of the colour system didnt match in the 4H. The Neo cloud was in bullish (setting 1) while candle colour and trend catcher were the same in red.

My question is this, do I wait for both 30M and 4H to match all three requirements?

Hey - that’s entirely up to you and your trading style. You’ll need to experiment and see what works and what doesn’t for your own approach.

Personally, I focus on the 15M for direction and then use the 1–5M for entries, but that’s just what I’ve found works for me. It doesn’t mean it’ll work the same way for someone else. Every trader interprets charts differently and develops their own unique perspective.

You could show the same chart to 10 traders and get 10 completely different biases and analyses
It takes time to figure out what works best for you and that’s part of the process of learning to trade and be consistently profitable

Well, I was using just PAC and OM earlier and while I did see some success, I saw @old crow 's s&o system and it sort of looked like the piece i was missing in my system.

I have been following his system closely for a past few days with different settings and I think I may be close to what works for me. Just trying to understand taking an entry 30M based on the 4H bias.

The problem is with using 15m/30m and 4h all together is that not all the entry criteria for each timeframe will always align and you could potentially miss entries for your set ups.

You could try various timeframes like 15m entries based off the 1 hour timeframe, 30m entries based off 2 hour timeframe or even 1 hour entries based off the 4 hour. There are so many variations you can try and it just requires the trader to experiment to see which are yielding the best results and what suits your trading style. Some traders prefer swing trading whereas others prefer quick scalps or intra day type trades

Hey there, @void sluice has given you proper guidance here.
What I can add, is what I have been mentioning in my past recent streams, in that each day, I use a different set-up, approach, to my scalps. Some days Ill use PAC and internal structures as focal point and disregard S/O's. Some days I will focus on NeoCloud. Just depends on my mood and how I feel about my charts each day. But I do see what you see with crypto, it tends to be more erradict in a direction, compared to the futures markets. With this said, I would personally use PAC and internal structures with bull/bear flags if I wanted to scalp crypto's. When I do scalp, I dont necessarily use top/down analysis approach, and just focus on one timeframe, regardless what the higher timeframes bias is, because I am scalping small movements. When I want larger intraday movements or swing, then yes I will use higher timeframes for a bias. Hope this helps.

@bitter scarab example, today I scalped futures mES for 20 ticks, used PAC internsl structures, placed a bear flag for a short for 20 ticks. I use differemt set-ups at times.

I am aware of you using different setups. Just that, as far as crypto is concerned, Eth and BTC in particular, the s&o candle colouring + neocloud + trendcatcher seems like a safer entry model to me.

I was checking 4H bias for 30M TF considering after the last week's crash, the moves have been slower.

I'll go back to 15m and 1H with this system, come back and ask you for challenges I face then.
