quick easy question guys: using the Ai, i've added the webhook from the chart it gave me - the new feature, which is cool - and after replicating in TV, i tested in on another future, and worked great there too. So to add an alert there, i just do it in TV, but where should i get the JSON? Just use the JSON TradersPost supplies in there? I assumed so. Also do i choose Order Fills only in the Create Alert Condition

I'm interested in this new AI system, it sounds revolutionary. I just have a few questions before taking the leap:

1. the strategy results provided by the AI...is there anything in terms of actual automated execution that would render strategy results inflated? example: is there anything with repainting or other indicator-related execution factors that'd skew the backtest results negatively?

2. are there many users in the VIP section that are actually profitable using these algo-trading strategies via the AI system?

3. how long would you estimate one would 'realistically' have to allocate to really learning and harnessing the Premium, plus AI automation features? I'd say I'm an intermediate trader, in terms of knowledge of TA and market behaviors etc...just never gone deep down this backtesting via TV etc.

4. do you actively utilize the Premium, plus AI automation features? if so, what would you say is working great, and what's still pending improvements?

5. roughly how many members would you say have successfully passed Prop Firm Challenges using these AI automation and recently added features and strategies?

I know that these are extensive questions, but I'm just doing my best to gage whether or not this is something I'm willing to invest a lot of time, energy, and money into...I hope you understand.

Lux algo is company who is not listening to there customers, making there on money. I just subscribed 2 days ago 359$ yearly subscription. Now they started a deal of Black Friday for 215$ but, they don’t want to adjust my payment as per new plan. So my recommendation is don’t buy any thing these people they are not interested in refunding money. Our policy not allowing your policy are made by Supreme Court of USA. If u not listen to customer, this is not fair. Every company in USA have policy to override or return or exchange have 30 days policy refund why they are not following that. Can someone help me with something, i use the S&O backtesting strategy for trading nas100 but only during NY session. It works fine but at end off session when i am in for example a long trade, it stays open after the session. And continue on the next day.

hey all, quickie about Backtester S&O - i have these Exit Time fields set to 7:20. My timezone where i am and my chart is UTC-6. My goal here is for any open trade to close right before 8:30am EST which is 7:30am for me. Also i have long and short session both set to 0900 to 13:00. So i thought that with those i should only have trades being entered between 0900 and 13:00 and any opens close at 7:20am. What am i missing? Attached is the XLS of all settings

example: want this trade to close at 7:20 but it stays until 7:30

oh and I have many trades outside of 0900 to 13:00, forgot to mention that above.

I used to trade with Luxalgo SMC concepts and would enter and exit based on Bullish/Bearish OBs and target the opposite FVG of current trend and exit as soon as it about to touch that FVG, pretty solid strat

Also the sell side and buy side liquidity zones are decision makers usually price will either touch and fall down or rip up higher which you can cross check with Bullish/Bearish OB forming near the liquidity zones. I will try to find out what works best with S&O soon

morning all. question the "Maximum Step Interval " setting when using steps. I can find the setting in PAC and S&O, but not in the Backtester versions - is that correct? If how does it work for one of the Backtester steps for Entry conditions if for example Step 1 happens on bar 1, Step 2 is 4 bars later, and Step 3 is 3 bars after that? Or do they all have to happen on the exact same candle? Can i use scripting to?

I only selected "Learn more about LuxAlgo" and it said the "Must Know" channel was added, but as you can see in this screen cap, there's no Must Know channel.

I want to learn as much as I can by myself before being the guy asking dumb questions, but I kinda have to ask this dumb one. How do I get to the Must Know channel?

I’ve never used luxalgo before but I was wondering if the AI backtesting has the same limitations as TradingView backtesting, with frequent bar repainting, and not being tick based data showing not very accurate results when forward tested.

Do you know if the backtester uses tick based data or OHLC data only while backtesting?

The AI Backtesting Assistant analyzes and fetches strategy trades by their index, trade side, result (win / loss), holding time (in minutes), P&L, opening and closing time.

AI strategies are based on timeframe charts: 5m, 15m, 60m charts

TradingView has an issue where when backtested on the 15 minute, if price wicks into your SL and the 2 minute doesn’t close under the SL, then the backtester thinks it didn’t stop out, same with trailing stops, making the backtested results unreliable.

You are referring to something else in how strategies perform with muti timeframe conditions.

All elements and triggers are always based on candle close, unless a TP/SL level has been breached in real time
