It depends on your trading style, some people can scalp on the higher timeframes whereas some other individuals like to scalp on the lower timeframes. Just be aware the lower the timeframe, the more noise price action produces.

I personally use 15m for my trend direction then drop down to the 5m for my entries but that's just my personal way of trading. Its about finding what works for you and what doesn't.

there is no better or worse way to trade, its down to how you trade and every trader is different in terms of how they analyse the charts and enter trades. The 1H / 15M timeframe are great for trend direction

I’ve been watching a lot of your streams and refining my own strategy lately. I just wanted to ask for your opinion about multi-TF strategies.

Miky, your NeoCloud 1H & 15M strategy is really interesting. I’ve slightly adapted it for my own use, but that’s why I wanted to ask a few questions.

Since joining your crew, I’ve been taking around one trade per day — and I’ve actually been profitable 🙌🏼. The only downside is that I spend way too much time staring at the charts 😅.

I’ve already built some alert-based strategies, but I’m wondering if using lower timeframes could make it easier to catch that one good setup each day.

Also, I live in Finland, so I’ve been thinking about timing my trades around the New York market open — that’s usually when the action starts in crypto.

This is interesting! So the trades could also work purely on the 15M timeframe — or even lower. Of course, it depends on what kind of take profit you’re aiming for. The risk-to-reward ratio just needs to make sense.

Today memes on eyes - everyone rushes into memes. Next week coins backed by CZ are popular - everyone goes there. Then suddenly anonymity becomes trendy - everyone jumps into Zcash and similar projects. What is this, a generational shift? Have zoomers taken over cryptocurrency?

is it possible to have 2 PACs, 1 that uses 4h for structure and the second on 15m, in the second get the value from the PAC {itrend} on 4H. I cannot find anyway to get the value from {itrend} into an external of the other indicator. Is there any way to do this? or workaround?

{itrend} is only tied to the PAC you're trying to set up scripted alerts

The trend value is determined by internal market structures, with positive values for uptrends and negative values for downtrends. In an uptrend, an Internal Change of Character (I-CHoCH) has a value of +1, while an Internal Break of Structure (I-BOS) has a value of +2. The same logic applies to downtrends but uses negative values instead (−1 for an I-CHoCH and −2 for an I-BOS).

you can use the CHOCH and the BOS from the 2nd PAC(with a different timeframe)

But the decision is ultimately yours. And I do understand why someone would gravitate towards these hybrid hieken Ashi candles as they do look like the holy grail on Backtesting and visual backtesting, but in real time price action, it is not that easy

Hi, another question regarding alerts. I set up a S&O backtester strategy in tradingview and I want it to alert the shorts/longs, but with my current setting it only alerts the "blue" fields. Is there an option to alert the shorts/longs at all with the backtester or not? See screenshots as an example for AMD.
