Hello, I've been experiencing only losses over the past week while trading BTC/USD on the 3-minute time frame. Most of the signals I'm getting are inaccurate and often turn out to be false. Despite the indicator being quite expensive, I decided to invest in it because I believed it would offer good accuracy—but unfortunately, I'm feeling disappointed with the results

You've got to tune the tools for your specific needs- trading style, time frame, ticker, etc.

What you can do is to start fresh.
Turn off the signals on your chart, and try to analyze the chart on your own.
I do help members try to do this in my live streams.
I provide examples on simple charts, without signals, so we learn how to make our own entry decisions.
Signals are not meant to be traded by itself.
They should support your decision making without the signals.

This particular vwap has a different purpose.
The main feature of this interpretation, are the closes of each previous vwap segments.
For the current week, like today, we would observe how price reacts to the previous vwap close levels, not the current week, because this current week has not closed yet, so you would just observe current price (or current daily vwap) with the previous weekly levels.
Here is my chart where I only show the previous weekly vwap close price levels.

There is an option to use external sources for limited of 3rd party indicators, as well as our LuxAlgo free indicators, but everyone would need to experiment with this to see if it is possible with the indicator you would like to use.

That is why we have two seperate interpretations.
If they were both exactly the same, then there is no point in having two versions.

Now let me tell you why am I saying this...

Scenario 1:
PAC Paid, showing Premium Zone as STRONG, once price hits that zone this should now show it as weak, but it still says strong zone.

Scenario 2:
Free SMC by LuxAlgo, showing Premium Zone as STRONG, price hits the zone and now this turns it into a weak premium zone.

This should be the case with PAC paid as a rule of thumb, or we should be able to edit its settings as per desired rules.

I have notices this happening 4-5 times on 5M and 1H Chart.

We take the trades looking at the strength of the zones. Specially 50 pips scalper...

"Correct" is subjective, there is no correct or incorrect way. As I mentioned many different interpretations on the internet and in the trading community space. These are just two interpretations from LuxAlgo.

If the alerts are working on the TradingView platform, then the issue lies with your connector into your brokerage account.

This is all we can guide you here, as each 3rd party connector and brogerage requires many different data messages, so just depends on the brokerage and the 3rd party connectors.

I have a question yo so I'm watching this 5 hour tjr video and this is his strategy basically and it consists of marking out highs and lows and draws on liquidity in different timeframes and he goes to do that and show how to do it and starts marking them out but I'm confused on where do I start from and where do I stop at when marking the highs and lows out? Like he says to mark them out but where? And how far? Because I can mark the whole 5000 candles I can see on TradingView from the past? Is he talking about marking the previous session? Or what?

I'm unfamiliar with that guy or his strategy but he mentions in the screenshot the session high/lows and also the 1-4H high and lows.
You could use: LuxAlgo Sessions indicator which will give you the session high/lows marked on your chart. You would then need to plot the 1H/4H high lows yourself.

Feel free to browse our free indicator library to see if any of the indicators can be an aid in recreating that individuals strategy. Our library can be found here: https://www.luxalgo.com/library/

You're best bet is to reach out to the person in question and ask him regarding his strategy though

Thats why its best reaching out to him and asking him as trading is subjective. Some people may only plot the previous days high and lows, whereas if you ask someone else they may prefer to plot the high and lows past just the previous day

Note that you should mark previous session highs and lows, swing highs and lows (meaning significant ones, normally one that starts a new trend.) And also Mark out PDL PDH, PWL PWH, PMH PML, all the significant ones if you dont wanna get caught off guard.

But personally for myself I only Mark out previous sessions highs and lows and include 1h/4h swing highs and lows.

Whats important is checking the HTF before a trading day, determining where you are in the market at the moment, if you're close to a significant point or not

In order to move markets and create a liquidity key word is - gap. You need quite a large amount of money. Only big players, SM can do it. Therefore, if there is no gap, its signs that they are not trading and you should not be either. If there is gap within OB it will be strong one. Hence. significant one!!

I've never personally used the NWE free indicator, i mainly use the S&O to trade or sometimes if its choppy i use PAC. There is a free version of PAC called Smart Money Concepts if your strategy uses price action and market structure which you may like? Unsure what your strategy is though.

not even choppy days, its just i rotate between two strategies, one using S&O and one using PAC but PAC helps on choppy days with S&O too

i trade the 1 minute timeframe, never used higher timeframes tbf to trade

but plenty of people here use higher timeframes like 4H

Hey there, the video goes over just one use-case theory.
There are hundreds of other ways to trade these orderblocks.
Hundreds of other interpretations.
You just need to find a set-up, or a theory, that fits your trading style.
Not all of these theories are 100%, none of them are.

For each set-up, I can make a case for price to go up or to go down.

In the Community Streams, I often talk about the Premium/Discount Zones, or the Strong/Weak High/Lows, in the Price Action Concepts toolkit:

Premium/Discount Zones
Strong/Weak, High/Lows

Remember, these two anchor levels (H and L, premium and discount) are from the most recent swing points, so the metrics at these levels are from that structure, but of course price can still bust up or down.

But the further it busts up, we know sooner than later, this will come back down.

So these metrics gives us clues on how much further it can go. Its like how long do we want to hang onto the move, or do we really want to jump in now?, at the risk that the move could be over anytime soon. Just something to think about when you are entering or managing a current position.

This is totally up to you and how you would trade these types of strategies. I personally don’t trade any sweep strategies, you can chat amongst other members that do. Any strategy would work, just depends on you, if it would fit your style. There is no right or wrong set-ups, as price can do what it wants, at any given moment, regardless of what our charts show. The best we can do is finding the best probability for our trading style. Hope this helps

Basically, what it is, is that you are trading off of key levels above and below current price, Thats all that is. You can chose any level to trade, You can trade the swing structure premium/discount levels, or your can trade internal highs/lows levels, or you can trade the previous sessions high/low levels (which is your sweep strategy). These are just upper and lower levels. @hollow estuary
