Why cant you? isnt it just a sweep? but instead of taken the trade in the opposite direction, it would be a continuation after the break out?
The sweep is the same, key levels.
ORB is the same, key levels.
You are just anticipation what price will do when it breaks a key level, sfor sweep, it goes the other way, for orb it continues in same direction.

Can I ask some advice? So I was trading for a couple of years then I stopped due to personal stuff really wasn’t in the mindset for trading.

However I am looking to come back to it my biggest struggle I found was to leave it and be patient like I could mark up and make good trades all day but as soon as I put money in the mindset changed giving me around a 40% win rate.
How do you manage this? What do you do to keep the mindset the same as without money? Many thanks 🙏

I would start to use a lower position size, I mean so low, its doesnt matter if you lose. And if you win, doesnt matter because you won a $1.
This trained my head to "not care."
When I started to "dont care."
Then it turned around for me.

Hey guys. Question. Of the free and premium lux algo indicators available, which ones will be hood synergy to use for a retest of ema’s/vwap strategy.

The play goes as follows:

i wait for a break out of key level. I wait for next candle to retest. And then i wait for next candle after that, to close above the previous one. I then enter on the open of next candle.

Then i ride the ema’s or take profit at targets. And stop loss usually below recent swing low.

Which of the oscillators or overlays and signals would i benefit from most in this circumstance? These are typically day trades lasting 1-30mins lets say.

I upgraded my trading view plan from 10k bars to 20k bars. But the signal doesn't seem to go past 29 Apr

depends on timeframe of chart, the smaller the timeframe the more bars required to go back farther, the higher the timerame, the less amount of bars

example, for 1m timeframe, there needs to be 86k bars required to go back 2 months worth (back to April)

1,440 one minute bars in 24 hours.

30 days requires 43k one minute bars

60 days requires 86k one minute bars

So depends on TF of chart

yes, this will save one set of settings, everytime you add the indicator to your chart.
But only one set of settings, until you save a new set of settings. You can save multiple templates, that have many sets of settings, and just open a specific saved template of your choice

Good morning, are you trying to do alerts in the S&O backtester; what alerts are you trying to achieve? You would put your alert message in the long/short messages as per the documentation here: https://docs.luxalgo.com/docs/backtesters/alerts

You need to put {{strategy.order.alert_message}} in the TradingView message so once its triggers then the custom message in your backtester is sent to the TradingView message

for example I wish to sumply set up in S&O BT alerts in 4 different markets, where the set ups are the same normal bullish, normal exits with built in exits. the only thing that reprents this kind of is {default}, do I place this in the alerts message section of long and short,

if you want to just have conditions normal bullish with built in exits, you would just fill in the long/short messages with what you want the alert to say when it triggers (see pictures)

This would then generate my 'messages' in the long/short within the backtester when the tradingview alert has been created

correct, put {{strategy.order.alert_message}} in the messages option in the TradingView alert, this will then generate everything you have put in the actual long/short messages within the backtester

You would need to create 4 alerts though, one alert for each different market (pair/ticker) you'd like alerts on
