you guys are Hella cool for putting the source code for everything out there. You really have no idea how much that has helped me in my coding journey. just recently, I was going through the library on the website at all of the free tradingview indicators and came across this DTFX Algo Zones. very nice I like the concept and the functionality. Only one issue I had was I would like the zones extended to the end of the chart. 100 iterations and bug squashes later and the final result has been let's say pleasing... not often you can just set a limit order go to sleep and wake up to a crazy gain. If anyone was trading last night, they know that down trend was absolutely lovely.

oh yeah, I also added the settings just like the ones for order blocks and fair value gaps where you can choose wick or close of candle for zone brakes

The zone brake logic works on any zone that's created with the enabled Fibonacci retracement levels from the settings. and it will stay printed unless those levels are broken by wick or candle close. let's say you choose to enable all of the fib levels price has to cross from the 0 to 1 level in order to break it. here is where things get clever. if you enable the .5 to 1 levels it will stay printed unless .5 to 1 is broken. it was really handy these past couple of days. I have my preferred settings as the default.

Do you think it's possible to get an alert for when the internal CHoCH and following BOS(s) (candles have turned dark green for the internal trend confirmed to be UP) comes in confluence with the swing CHoCH (or Swing BOS if CHoCH has already occurred) .. does that make sense?

These seem like high probability entry points. But I don't want to sit around all day watching and waiting

it might be possible, it is something you will need to experiment with the alert scripting, do it piece by piece i'd recommend, start with swing choch/bos as step 1, then step 2 would be internal choch/bos and then candle colour green.

Bullish FVG, means just that, it was a bullish price action that created the FVG

Works a bit, and it’s really just better to really manually connect pivot prices to catch that good breakout. Cool tactic! Went back and tested it on eurusd and it think I’ll use it there.

Not sure, but it is different years, alot can change within days.
Example a strat can be very profitable for past 365 days, but if you have it for the past 367 days, it could be a huge rekt

This is basically your project to optimize until you feel comfortable with.

It’s all a scam to make people unprofitable

FVG's are a 3 candlestick pattern, not a scam, the pattern does exist, you can visually back test this on your charts.
But, as far as the concept theory that price tends to gravitate towards these FVG's, then yes, up for interpretation based on each one's trading style.
Also, the traditional gaps, they do exist as well. It can be gaps between close and open price of your 24 hours sessions, or slippage gaps.

Not always, depends on when you compare what time to what time, and there may or may not be a gap. But yes, it can exist during the week, as most tickers do not trade 24/7, most have 1-2 hours stoppage

I have back tested my strategy for the 12 months in 2024 and it has positive results 10 out of 12 months.. 2 months very small losses. Can some experienced traders please tell me. Gradient Candle Coloring - Signals & Overlays

• There have a been a few questions regarding these colors not appearing correctly.
  📌 When you have multiple indicators (not just LuxAlgo) that have gradient coloring in the code, there will be glitches.
  So what you need to do is create a new chart, add SO's then PAC both at default, then change SO's to gradient, do not touch PAC candle coloring.
  Then this should work and show SO's gradient with PAC overlay
  📌 Try this to:
  Add PAC default first, dont touch any settings in there.
  Then add SO's, then change to gradient.
  If this works, SAVE the template
  (sometimes we need to change the order a few times until it catches)

I also use TPO , VP and PAC confirmation of levels but truth is I have lost so much that I’m squirrely with CFD accounts. @old crow I have S&O with candle coloring set to confirmation simple. As soon as I'm adding PAC, the coloring of the candles turns off. PAC color candles is turned off. It never happened before and this issue started from last 1-2 days. Can you propose a fix

Hey guys .. just a quick question.. If I put step 1 for all my custom alert conditions does that mean that all those conditions need to be met at the same time for a signal ? or should I set them all at "all" for that to happen?

Also if I want alerts for the same conditions but for short and long trades do I have to overlay a second of the same indicator and set the alert for the other direction on that one? I dont see any option for long/short in the settings

Yes, it means that all the conditions need to be true in the same candle. If you set a step to all, then that means that condition should be checked if true in all steps.

No, there is no need to do that. When a trading view alert is created, it is saved with all the current chart/indicator settings. The alert is not updated when any changes are made to the chart. So you can go ahead and create the first alert, then setup your second alert. The second alert's settings will not affect the first in any way.

If you check the previously recorded LIVE streams that I linked you too and search for topics your interested in, that may help too.

• If you are wanting to understand the percentage in regards to the order block more:
  So If you have say 'Show Last: 5' order blocks on your chart within the PAC toolkit. That means the total 5 order blocks will make up 100%.

The higher the percentage means the more likely that order block will be respected. But it isn't always the case, as there are exceptions as its trading. Its just meant to be used as an aid to gather how strong a order block is or not

(IE: if an order block is 2% and one is 98%. The order block what is 98% is more likely to be respected than the one what is 2%)

From what I can see, you prompted very specifics as your first prompt. By doing so, you have limited the AI in its search with its library of strategies. So what it then provided you was a strategy idea for you to pin the Backtester itself. If you want a complete AI strategy, I would start with general prompts and continue the conversation with the AI
