I’m a 5-minute timeframe scalper and I rely heavily on LuxAlgo indicators for my trading.

Has anyone tried the LuxAlgo - Backtester (S&O)?
• Is it effective for scalping on the 5-minute timeframe?
• Does it provide accurate insights into past LuxAlgo signals?
• Is it worth upgrading to Ultimate to use it?

I’d really appreciate any feedback or personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

Use a seperate device to login refreshed

Not sure if its because of the location? I'm based in Singapore asia so is there some issue with this part of the world accessing it? I'm not using any VPNs

The other thing that it can do is to remove a lot of clutter from the charts. Iet you make multiple conditions in one and just see a short or long signal. That way you don’t have to look at those. Kind of thinking of being support in my trading style.

Jus take it slow and don't try to learn everything straight away. I'd also recommend trying to find a strategy and sticking with it, people tend to strategy hop when they start taking losers thus causing them to constantly hop between strategies. But as with trading, there will always be losing days/weeks but its how we manage them with good risk management and a good R:R that we stay in profit at the end of the month

Use PAC market structure for confirmation, use Signals and Overlays for ‘x’s” where you could trail your SL into profit or close your trade

Hi -- I use the Lux Algo Supply and Demand Indicator - does anyone know on tradingview if you can set an Alert for this indicator....for example when candles get into Demand zone?

Typically with our free open sourced indicators, there are no customized alert features within the settings, but try to see if you can create the alerts with the available conditions in th Alert-Panel. If still unable to create the exact alert you need, then you would need to revise the open source code to include the alerts

yeah, I'm rubbish at trading..haha. Nar, I don't really use a strategy as such, I've never had any formal training, only learnt what little i know from Youtube and reading articles. Plus with my work I don't get much time to jump on the charts and scan around, even when i'm on a trade i don't have much time to keep an eye on it. So i just tend to pop a trade on when it seems like the pattern is good, or at least looks ok to me. Granted I've only lost £20 but when i only had £200 in my acount it's a bit of a blow. Though until the losses today i managed to build my account up from £148 to £207 in less than a week, so hopefully today was just a bad day and can start growing again tomorrow.

On February 4th, 2025 at 9:50ET - 10:38ET we received a report from Wealthcharts that Traders were unable to place trades during the elapsed time mentioned.

It was observed that traders were unable to submit orders, thus negatively affecting trading operations. The accounts that were liquidated and/or ended the day with a negative PnL as a result of this incident have been identified and are being adjusted to start of session balances on Tuesday Feb 4th, 2025.

These features and elements confirm at candle close.

Just a little before candle close, if the element is on the verge of triggering or not triggering, it flicker somewhat, until candle close. Just like most elements on your chart. But in your case, this is forex, forex brokers have certain times of their exchange being closed for the day, and they re-open maybe 15m, 30m, or maybe an hour later (depending on broker), then new data history is being updated into TV and into your charts, thereby slight differences are reflected. This is dependant on the fx broker, as forex is not traded on a centralized exchange, but their own exchange liquidity pool. Each broker decides what price data is to be pushed into the TradingView servers. This is less prevalent in asset instruments that are traded on a centralized exchange, such as stocks on the NYSE and futures on the CME/CBOT exchange. But forex has hundreds, if not thousands or different brokers exchanges, and each of them decide what data is to be pushed into TV and at what given time....hope this makes sense. I also notice that your toolkit has not been updated for quite some time....
