Ok, further clarification for you: In the top S&O indicator, I defined the entry (the external 1 and external2 are referencing the bottom longer neo indicator neo_lead and neo_lag respectively).

In the bottom indicator, that's where I'm having issues defining the bullish exit. I reference shorter neo_lead as external 1 and I have this in the bottom scripting box: {external1} crossunder {neo_lead} - does this help? I don't see the alert showing up on the chart where there is crossover.

not all structures creates an OB, but most OB's were created by a structure

nailed gold last year (lines drawn at the time of yearly open 2024)
almost nailed BTC ( lines drawn on 1st of january 2025 ) because i was looking at the binance chart at the time only to find out that my locked drawings have been moved by a mysterious force on tradingview
i found that the positions of my drawings changed on the binance chart however on the eightcap chart they remained in place they were also drawn on yearly open
has anyone experience such problems with tradingview?

From your findings, this would be the case for Binance data feed, and how they may have reset from time to time.
Tough to pin point as this seems to be a Binance data issue, comparing realtime candles sticks, versus data history being different. I would get with Binance on this

Timezones can be confusing, lol. Defaults of the Lux Sessions indicator uses 0 UTC, while EST is set to -5. You could subtract 5 hours from the time that is used in there.

Yes this is possible with TV alerts/webhooks, unfortunately, these are processed through 3rd party services, and since this falls outside the range of support offered by LuxAlgo, LuxAlgo and myself are unfamiliar with these services that integrate these webhooks for trade execution into your brokerage of choice....But you are welcome to ask around in the other channels to see if other members can guide you on this...

In the Discord, not yet, but I’ve checked most of the YouTube videos. The strategies look great in the videos, but when I try them out, the results aren’t as good—maybe it’s just the market conditions.

When I say I "try" them, I mean I backtest by going through the past signals to see how often they’re accurate or not.

Correct, no strategy is perfect at face value. We would need to optimize them for our own personal trading style and trade management. That is the key.....we need to make the strategy, adhere to our own style, as we cannot trade to someone elses style

Hi there, I won't be able to recommend a particular way to do this, but I can give you an idea on how this works. Trading View uses webhooks as an option in its alerts to connect to other 3rd parties. The logic is as follows:

• Trading View alert -> webhook URL -> 3rd party platform (your own or you purchase a service) -> your broker/exchange/trading platform.
  A message is sent by the alert to the trading platform to open/close/modify trades.

It will be up to you though to decide on which 3rd party service platform you will go for.

please be advised that LuxAlgo does not provide direct support for automation, as this is facilitated through third-party software, and the process varies depending on the program being used. The backtesters can facilitate such automation; however, beyond adjusting settings on the indicators provided by LuxAlgo, we would not be able to provide further advice.

Its not late, what it is, it is alerting when the OB is confirmed, at the confirmation of the structure.
Not at the actual candlestick where the orderblock appears

What indicators/combination is having the best win rate/success? I've studied ICT, SMC, and even market/volume profile on Sierra charts. Which I'm not sure if you know gathers data from the CME and uses the Dom as information and puts it in a footprint. I'd like these two to get combined i thought obviously there was some truths and confirmations in both strategies. I thought Set an alert at a S&D/OB area, make sure that OB is strong ( That's where Price action Volumetric indicator comes in) Then a Footprint/VAH & VAL/Footprint indictor comes in seeing where the buyers and sellers are and absorption is happening, as Sirrea charts can get expensive. I have TV live data so it would be more accurate than the basic delayed data. Are such things available or is anyone using anything completely different and having some good success? sorry about the essay, new here and just trying to find my feet!

Hey and welcome to the Lux community 👋🏻 Its all about finding what works for you and what doesn't, I personally use Price Action Concepts whilst having the Signals & Overlays Neo Cloud element for trend bias confluence too, whilst having the Money Flow Profile on my chart to see where the buyers and sellers are. I also use the Pure Price Action Structures from Lux for the swing pivot points on my chart. It's up to you to find out what combination of indicators you'd like to potentially use with Price Action Concepts though

I know Micky has various strategies for PAC and S&O but he does like S&O candle colouring, auto pilot: long term and double Neo Cloud in his trading which he talks about most daily LIVE streams (happen Mon-Fri between 10:30-11am NY time) and they are also recorded. Also likes this Fib method using Price Action Concepts. He also has a 4H Order Block Price Action Concepts strategy shared to members also

As with trading, we are all different and have discovered our own unique way of trading through various back testing/forward testing which works for us and our trading style. It's all subjective the best win rate/success as a good winrate or success to someone may not be deemed that good to someone else. It's the same with your trading style, someone may think they have the 'best' settings which may be more suited to a swing trader. If you told that to a scalper, they wouldn't think they was the 'best' settings at all as its not their own trading style. No two traders are alike

Can the sensitivity value auto update by itself to the recommended setting instead of having to manually update it? As this video was posted 7 months has this been able to be added? saves you being permanently on the charts, Also if this changes whilst your off the charts its then not as accurate.

Go backtest with that dashboard on Marlon if your trend strength is more than 50 and your sqeeze drops you will see things happen. And keep an eye on the oscilator if its in the green you golden if theres a redirect at the top of the oscilator sell or if the squeeze becomes more than the trend strength you will see everything drops again

Keep it really simple to start with mate, you can get so overwhelmed with the amount of info there. For a starter, I found using reversal indicator on signals and overlays, level 3 on a 5 minute. With this you simply enter the trade when either the wick or the candle enters the reversal cloud, but it has to full exit. Wait for the trend catcher to turn change colour, the candle colour is irrelevant, but then set out 1.5 RR if you miss the entry just make sure you work off where teh trend catcher changed colour not where you entered. I did that on a few occasions it hit the actual target level and then reversed and stopped me out, or mickys 2 neo cloud set up is pukka

GM G's! Just wanted to say thanks! Was rewatching some of @old crow 's recent stream recordings. I really liked your "top down" approach on the stream of 18 Dec. Idea is to scalp BTC on 1 min, but looking for correct trend and conditions on 1H and 10M charts first. Setup on BTC 1H looks promising so far, based on S&O sensitivity 30, Trend Catcher 3, and Trend Tracer 2. Let's see how this translates to 10M and 1M! Many thanks for the inspiration! 🔥

could you tell us how to create and operate webhooks? i have a strategy, and i would like to have it traded with leverage automatically

Yes this is possible with TV alerts/webhooks, unfortunately, these are processed through 3rd party services, and since this falls outside the range of support offered by LuxAlgo, LuxAlgo and myself are unfamiliar with these services that integrate these webhooks for trade execution into your brokerage of choice....But you are welcome to ask around in the other channels to see if other members can guide you on this...

yes alert-scripting, like doing a mixed script:
-HTF for Bias with Neo cloud mixed with LTF-script with trend-catcher and Neo-cloud withhelp of Osc. Mat. for taking Entries

One thing i have recognized, if we know the BIAS we can take any take entries (trend-catcher, neo cloud or Signals (Autopilot MED and LONG-Term) in the same direction. About am still a litte struggling with.
And now just think out of the box opposite Entries and direction are just showing the pullback and with help of mat. osc. we can take better Entries from the bottom or the TOP and leave them until we reach the end of the BIAS

Also what i have seen in @keen flax strategies for BTCDOM, by the way thank you for sharing the knowledge, he is building strategies separatly for long and short, is a good way to avoid the drawdown and have better results, when it comes against the direction we defined in our BIAS.

Yes, each element is independent from the others.
It is up us in how we filter out these elements from the others.
Filtering, meaning, we dont take every signals, we take the ones that are in confluence with the rest of the chart

I see there is an option to alert if the trend catcher is positive or negative, but I'm looking for a way to alert based on price compared to trend catcher.

the placeholder for it is {catcher} so you'd be looking for a candle close crossover above catcher
for shorts, crossunder should work.
