Hey people any one know prop firms forex and crypto how to find the related ticker on tradingview specially FTMO prop firm any guide pls

You have to go through the tickers on TradingView and find the one that closely matches the price that your prop firm has (example: searching XAUUSD on Tradingview and individually clicking on the one by Eightcap, OANDA, etc. until you find the one that is the closest price to the one your prop firm has)

If the ticker and data feed that your prop firm uses, is not avaliable in Tradingview, then you will just use your own judgement to select the one that closely matches your prop firms. Other than that, there is not much you can do, since most prop firms are using simulated/demo data feed for your prop firm accounts

But to answer your original question about wanting to see only "buy" signals, just make sure you have your long TP/SL, long Exits enabled, since you will not be settings any "sell" conditions.

Yeah, just makes sure you have a way to exit a long entry, so that the Backtester is looking for the next long entry.
If not, the Backtester will be forever holding onto the first long position

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a TradingView Pine Script that tracks the RSI and calculates the average price of the “tops” (when RSI goes above 70, overbought) and “dips” (when RSI goes below 30, oversold). I want to see how the price behaves when the RSI hits these overbought and oversold levels. Specifically, I’m interested in:
• Tracking the highest RSI values when it’s overbought and the corresponding price.
• Tracking the lowest RSI values when it’s oversold and the corresponding price.
• Calculating the average of these price levels over time, ideally with a moving average of the last 10 periods or so.

Does anyone have a script like this or know where I can find one?
What shuld i look for ?

Hey guys ive just tested both the pac and signals together in replay testing and it works absolute wonders. done quite a few trades with 50 quanity on replay testing and not a single loss. I've basically just waited for a signal then confirmed if it was valid via analysing the pac indicator. I'm pretty new to trading and have a lot to learn but just wanted to say a big thank you!!!

Well this is my first hour of using the indicator so i havent really got much of a strategy i'm just testing atm I kept everything on for pac and kept the signals to just the signals

I waited for a signal then i looked for bos hh and ll first to see if price action was in line
Then I checked to see if price was respecting trendline eg In a downtrend: Did the price stay below the trendline and form lower highs?
And i kind of used discount zones, premium zones and equilibrium to give me a vague idea on where the market might retrace or continue
Also each candle i waited for it to close to see if it broke a structure or trendline

But like I said im completely new to the indictaor and trading as a whole but will watch more videos and hopefully improve!

update on the p/l. ive been trading gold on replay test for 4 days only 2 losses 🙂

If your talking about our indicators then it works on TradingView and they have a TV app for both computer and mobile. You could also use in the web browser on phone by going on TradingView

I personally do my technical analysis on the computer and save the chart, then if i have to go out i can load the chart up on my phone and monitor it. But i prefer to be in front of my computer when trading and not trade if i know i have to go out somewhere

A key thing to remember in trading is that you have to find a setup that works for you - meaning you and your strengths as a trader. Micky talks about this a lot in his streams, so he gives tips on how to find a setup that works for you. Example is this stream where he emphasizes to start simple with just one feature: #1199356285813006367 message

In answer to your question, Micky's overlay of choice is the neo cloud. The neo cloud is one of the overlays available in the Signals and Overlays indicator. In that stream Micky talks about using 2 neo clouds, both with different settings - try to listen in again to that stream. He always describes the settings that he uses.

i believe it is best you listen to our demands otherwise we will all continue to get crushed in the market.

I've asked for multi time frame functionality on the oscillator matrix for the money flow hyper wave and reversal signals. this seems to be the only way for that indicator to be made more useful. without multi time frame functionality, the oscillator matrix is no better than the Standard macD.

your automated back testing says the oscillator matrix can achieve up to 73% win rate however when i manually back tested it many times it was definitely no where near that good. if anything it was a joke just like macD. not 73% win rate worthy at all.

I set custom alert on trend catcher for switch up but i cant set a down

You can just create an additional alert. If you've made a custom alert with trend catcher switch up. You can then change the settings once the alert is created and do another with trend catcher switch down.

TradingView will remember the alerts at the point they was created so it won't affect your switch up alert.

It is the custom alert section. As i mentioned you'd have to create two alerts. One for your bullish conditions such as trend catcher 'switch up' and one for your bearish conditions 'switch down'

steps would depend on what your trying to achieve. Here is a basic example -
(IE: you could have:
any bullish confirmation - step 1
trend catcher - switch up - step 2

• this will wait for bullish signal then wait till trend catcher changes to bullish before giving alert

or you could have:
any bullish confirmation - step 1
trend catcher - uptrending - step 1

• this will give you an alert if a bullish signal is produced in the direction of the bullish trend catcher

• The coding mentioned by the other member is for creating your own pinescript and would not work with our indicators

Hey - how have you set up your alert? Remember for custom alerts - you have to use 'custom alert confirmation' in the TradingView alert as opposed to any alert() function call

Mrlon seting the trend catcher up is the easy one getting the down with the up is another story
in you signals and overlays settings head to custom alert creator set your trend cather to switch up scroll down to ny alert function and select the customer alert creator and click ok you will see it highlights on the chart

Started 2025 off green ✅ I’ve been apart of the LuxAlgo community for over a year now and surprisingly never took advantage of the discord community until these last couple weeks. Watching Micky’s videos these last few days have only improved my trading skill cus its showed me a different approach towards trading that I never even thought of before. Trading really is 50/50, it just comes down to controlling your emotions on when to take profit and also take a loss. If you try to average down on a bad trade 90% of the time you’ll lose even more.

It is usually recommended to have at least a higher timeframe in confluence with your entry: 1H to 5 min, 4H to 15 min, Daily to 1H. As to which one you will use, that would depend on the asset you are trading and when it would have the most traded volume during the day. You would need to backtest to be certain which one will fit your strengths as a trader.

These worked fine i got the simple one working so thats sorted.

Trend Catcher goes green it wats for the bullish smart trail then only alerts me then it notifies me when the next bearish smart trail kicks in

you can check how it highlights the specific areas

No, that's one line from the Smart Trail, the other is the Smart Trail Extremity. The Extremity line is the line closer to price. The values you see in the Smart Trail and its Extremity are price values. Smart Trail is Bullish when Smart Trail Extremity > Smart Trail. Opposite for Bearish.

Keep in mind that though there are some similarities, the list of placeholders for the Any Alert message is different from the placeholders for Alert Scripting. There is also no logic for the Any Alert message as well, you are simply building a custom message using the placeholders and plain text.

Hi there, I think there may be a misunderstanding of how steps actually work. Having conditions on the same step mean AND. Having conditions on successive steps mean THEN. If you want all conditions to be true on the same candle, use Step 1 for all. That way you would not need the Bearish Confirmation as an Invalidate condition.

If however you would still want the steps as you have written up, you would need to either use an External Condition for the additional Any Bearish Confirmation, or use Alert Scripting.

I use FTMO for forex and TopStepX for futures. But id recommend doing your own research first to decide which one is a best fit for you.

Correct but never had an issue with payouts. Most prop firms are simulated accounts. TopStepX will transfer you to a LIVE account once you've proved your consistently profitable. I've never tried 5ers/fundednext so can't really comment on any others. But other people may be able to share their experiences with other firms

You may have changed your indicator settings after creating an alert thus causing different visuals compared to the alert. I'd recommend you re-do your alerts

Prof Micky, thanks for the wonderful explanation on alert scripting with neo clouds. I finally got it! Would you say, for a conservative bullish exit: {neo_lead} < {neo_lag} ? I would leave the externals alone since the delay in "catching up" would be too long.

If you wanted to use the lower length NeoCloud for exit, you need "crossunder" instead of "<"
