you can backtest a longer time period on monthly charts, but for a 1m charts, you can only go back a small limited amount of days

This is great and more than enough if you are a pure market structure trader.
If you like trending features, then the Premium package may be a better fit with the Signals & Overlays, and the Oscillator Matrix toolkits

usually stop loss is set at 1 to 2 ratio, a green squeeze percentage points to the probability of long liquidations, opposed to the red percentage pointing to a liquidation probability of short positions

this is usually connected to price spikes

I just tested your conditions, it does what it should do.
But the strategy is probably not what you want.
Think about what you are telling the BT to do.
You want a bull signal when there is a bull Smart trail, then once in this position, your short condition is bear signal when bear Smart trail, But what if that never occurs for the short? You may get bear Smart trail, but the bear signal came one bar before the bear smart trail. So now your previous long position is still holding long, because the bear signal came before the smart trail turned bearish, so your log position never reversed, still in that same long, and waiting for the perfect bear condtion settings, to close long and enter on short.
You need to re-think your strategy

The BT is doing exactly what your condition settings are set to.

• I am receiving a handful of messages, and noticed a few community posts here, about a few challenges and struggles in finding a good strategy. Instead of trying to "find," let's try to "create" our own strategy....

• I want to first say that I truly understand, I really do, as I was in this same chapter of my trading career.
  I was frustrated, and have given up multiple times, over and over, until a "light-bulb" turned on.

• And I just wanted to offer some ideas if your overwhelmed with everything.

• Find a "Mechanical Concept."

Not a "subjective, interpretive discretionary concept," but a Mechanical Concept.

Find a mechanical concept that YOU like, don't force yourself to like something, that you don't believe in.

A Mechanical Concept that has CLEAR rules, no confusion, just black and white clear rules.

Example (just an example):
When Signals & Overlays prints a buy/short signal, in direction of Smart-Trail, take entry in same direction.
That's it, clear-cut rules.
A mechanical-concept.
Now study and test this over and over again.

Once you get the hang of this,
then you start to add a few more confluences, to subjectively filter out some entries, with YOUR OWN analysis.
This is where you begin to optimize the mechanical strategies, based on your own trading style.

Another mechanical strategy, as an example, that's it; turn off everything in Signals and Overlays.
Turn on Candle Coloring at Auto Pilot Long Term.
Now take the candle color direction blindly.
Green, go long
Red, go short
Now there are some good candle color entries, and some not so good.
THIS is where "you" start to optimize and start adding other toolkit elements to filter some of these set-ups, based on your style.

This is something you need to optimize on your own. You can use the opposite signal for exit or use the Oscillator Matrix

Always monitor your trades, I would never advise to not monitor your auto trader, always keep an eye on it. Safer is to manually trade

Hi there, there is no easy way to do this within the Backtesters. There is a workaround, but it requires that your Trading View subscription is at least Essential to use the Indicator-on-Indicator feature. The workaround is described here, but please take note that there are caveats as described in the last paragraph: #🤝support message

It usually means there is a mismatch in the settings. As there are so many options in the backtester, it is quite easy to make a mistake and select something different from what the AI actually recommends.

What if I set the customer alert to fire when "any bearish confirmation" or "any bullish confirmation" is triggered. If the Optimal Sensitivity number changes, I would change "Signals Sensitivity" to match the new number. In this case wouldn't the alert use the new number?

Hi there - if you changed the optimal sensitivity number due to it changing. You would have to create a new alert. As the alert will remember the settings at point of creation, so any editing of the settings you do will not be applied to the alert.

@old crow , i need your help in setting alert of OB. i have set alerts as per attached image and i am getting too many alerts, like whenever any new Ob is created, i get alert. but i only want the alert when price mitigates the OB on DTF. except that, i do not want any other alert. could you please tell me, what i need to change?

Thats is how "Any-Alerts" functions, just as you described, it will alert on every OB and the other enabled cnditions you checked off. What you need are conditional steps, to trigger an alert based on a sequence. So please have a looks at the docs for "Custom Alerts" and how those are utilized.
