not sure which channel to ask this question. I was going through the settings (and asked the AI Backtesting guy) but was not able to find an answer on settings.

This is the question I asked "please list the preset/filters in the S&O and give me the differences between them. The actual S&O toolkit, not the screener"

well, not question but what I was hoping to get, I checked the toolkit documentation and I didn't notice a breakdown of these. My question is, if you set one of these presets//filters, how do you match it to the backtester so your signals match exactly what your backtester is simulating?

set up for bullish, then set up for bearish. 2 alerts

It returns no profit factor but is 15-0 +10.18%

All I did is add the 50 SMA above for long and below for short with its own exits

8 or 15 trades, so low amount of trades to analyze each one. See if each executution matches your set-up settings and verify this win %

I see what the issue is it will never go short and since the NQ is always gonna go up it just holds a position till it gets to a profit point regardless of drawdown which means the built in exit % isnt working if its supposed to define its own exit ponit

Question If I set several alerts on different Futures contracts lets say MNQ MES MYM and I use the advanced optimization for each is there a way to see the entry without launching or changing back the sensitivy setting for each alert.

Im saying I have to either load a new chart or change the setting for every alert to see whether its closing a position or opening one

It was only able to provide me 3 strategies out of 352 profitable ones when I asked it to provide me at least 10 winning strategies with at least a 1.3 profit factor

This AI doesn't really do much. Better off just going thru the shared/pinned backtests

Please be aware, your request of winning strategies could mean many different things, as there are other condions, have you tried to ask specifics? to include max trades? profit factor? etc

Ok, if its live order, it just depends on what your broker enables on the TradingView panels.
TradingView charts has many executions features, but it is up to the broker to enable these for live trading

Ah wait, @steel zenith , I know what it is. You have selected the incorrect indicator to create an alert on. The Custom Alert Creator you have used is on Signals and Overlays, the alert that you created is on Oscillator Matrix. Please delete the alert and create another using S&O. Also, please select Once per Bar Close as it is best for all conditions to be confirmed by the close of the bar.

Thanks for your suggestion, It takes quit a bit to generate subtitles to be added, as I would like to publish the recordings as soon as possible. And deciding which language to generate? We have many languages spoken around the world. So let me think about this if there is an easier method.

there are not much setting on the alert on backtester. so anything we set in the backtester will be triggered by default. is that correct?

yup, you need to create one alert.
if a long gets triggered in the backtester, you receive an alert. if SL triggers, you receive another alert.

I keep getting this error on TV. I don't know how it happens, I try to replicate it, but it usually happens when I have my alerts set and i'm away from my PC. I tried asking Tradingview, but they say it's an ''indicator sided problem'' so not really helpful.

I use the PAC backtest to have alerts execute trades, which went really well until this error started popping up. I also got the ''triggers too many times'' but that has been resolved now. I only have this error pop-up once every full-moon.

I asked @steel oak and he told me to shoot @candid salmon a message since he's super smart and a tech nerd.

I have received a handful of DM messages, and read a few community posts here recently.

So just reposting my opinions and thoughts here:
BUT the overall subject of these DM's are basically how to be profitable and stop losing all the time, and requesting help, one-on-one coaching, copy-trade, etc etc.

• I want to first say that I truly understand, I really do, as I was in this same chapter of my trading career.
  I was frustrated, and have given up multiple times, over and over, until a "light-bulb" turned on.
• And I just wanted to offer some ideas if your overwhelmed with everything.
• Find a "Mechanical Concept."

Not a "subjective, interpretive discretionary concept," but a Mechanical Concept.

Find a mechanical concept that YOU like, don't force yourself to like something, that you don't believe in.

A Mechanical Concept that has CLEAR rules, no confusion, just black and white, clear rules.

Example (just an example):
When Signals & Overlays prints a buy/short signal, in direction of Smart-Trail (or Neo Cloud, or Trend Tracer), take entry in same direction.
That's it, clear-cut rules.
A mechanical-concept.
Now study and test this over and over again.

Once you get the hang of this,
then you start to add a few more confluences, to filter out some entries, with YOUR OWN analysis.
This is where you begin to optimize the mechanical strategies, based on your own trading style.

Another mechanical strategy, as an example, that's it; turn off everything in Signals and Overlays.
Turn on Candle Coloring at Auto Pilot Long Term.
Now take the candle color direction blindly.
Green, go long
Red, go short
Now there are some good candle color entries, and some not so good.
THIS is where "you" start to optimize and start adding other toolkit elements to filter some of these set-ups, based on your style.

Lost a lot money. The signal and overlay are not accurate especially on the 15 min. There was strong bullish 15 min form with strong order block. And price still went down and the signals and order block just disappeared.

Oscillator was bullish as well. Price still went down order black which 89% strong on 15 min.

30 min was bullish 2 hr bullish.
however price dumped 8%

What’s the optimal settings for these indicators for stocks trading. Is there any trading strategy someone can recommend?

wasn't sure which channel to post in: Wanting to use webhooks in TV alerts to trigger trading actions on exchange. I need if this then that and conditional logic similar to that of zapier. Anyone got guidance on the best platforms / exchanges to achieve this? Guessing there might be a middle piece similar to zapier i need and the correct exchanges with API that plays nice with the middle piece..... any guidance appreciated! please be advised that LuxAlgo does not provide direct support for automation, as this is facilitated through third-party software, and the process varies depending on the program being used. The toolkit can facilitate such automation; however, beyond adjusting settings on the indicators provided by LuxAlgo, we would not be able to provide further advice

But hopefully other members who have achieved automation via webhooks can offer some guidance

You mean PAC recent swing structure high/low?

weak/strong is based on volume between the two levels

Hard to say for certainty as price does what it wants.
You can come up with your own rule, but for me, I treat them as recent swing pivot high/low

Step 1: Price is reversing from reversal zone.
Step 2: Hyperwave signal is down.

we created an example where you can import the hyperwave signal into S&O, check #1280142574509621392

With these settings the signal is generated a bit late, I am trying to get a signal nearer to the point where it exits the reversal zone.

I'm using the TP1 and SL1 with automation. I am trying to figure out why it closes my position before SL1. At first I thought it was closing because it closed below Bull signal and candle turned purple. But I looked back in history and some do and some don't. @old crow In the signals and overlays backtester - When you adjust the sensitivity based on the dashboard but already have an alert set does the alert reflect the change or the original value.

so if you change the setting and save an alert, you will create a 2nd alert that reflects on the new settings

Hey Micky, can you share some good practice on how much retrace of the signal candle in S&O one can see a good entry. I tried to make some connection with trend strength and ADX, but some help on this would be great!

My current understanding ADX < 20 -> 50 %
20<ADX<25 -> 38%
25<ADX<30 -> 23%
ADX > 30 -> Market price

When several candles have appeared, a new signal appears on an old candle 3-4 minutes from the current candle.

Im not entirely sure what you mean here on "retrace of the signal candle."
But, the signals, are confirmed at candle close. SO if it retarces after the signal is plotted, then the retracement will occur at the next few candles moving forward. I also do not use ADX, as I use the Oscillator Matrix.
